@IronWill Btw you want me to make some NPCs for the school?
@IronWill An elderly teacher approached and gathered the students of group 1A to begin directing them towards there classes. However, his dentures fell out of his mouth before he hooked them back into his mouth once again. Wakefield glanced from the ground to the the teacher. 'This Academy opened its gates by attempting to crush its students and we are supposed to buy that this teacher is a simple old man? No, this is another test, a test of insight to see if we can see beyond what our eyes see. This was done deliberately in order to give us a false sense of his weakness.'

He was distracted for a moment as the same Blade SG wielded he had spotted earlier in his group saluted him of all things. Wakefield shifted his head at a curious angle, before deciding it was in fact a sign of respect. He smiled slightly and decided to give the boy a free hint. He walked up to the wielded and whispered just quietly enough so that only the wielded could hear him."Odd isn't it? That a man so old could so simply and accurately aim and swing his cane to lift his dentures in a single stroke without effort? Especially since he wasn't using the cane for any support at the time."

He moved past the wielded and caught up to the elderly teacher walking towards the dorms. He adjusted his walking stance so he would clearly be on guard and ready to move quickly in case of attack. "Excuse me sir, but where does one go to form a new club on campus?"
@IronWill XD so it's that kinda school huh? Still that sounds like an interesting story hook would that be something I know in IC or something my character still needs to learn
@IronWill Lol I can establish that once we get into school. I am uncertain if my character is the first partnerless SG or not
@Prisk You nailed it! :)

@71452K Thank you - much appreciated ! :)
Wakefield watched from outside the gate as several students collapsed to ground or were forced to take a knee from some form of invisible pressure seemed to slam them towards the ground. 'Presumably some fellow SG using a gravity based ability.' Most of the humans seemed to have blindly followed in and were not being ridiculed for their antics by their particular Soul Gears. Taking the extra time he had to observe had given him the information need to come up to a counter to the crushing effect. Wakefield lacked the sense of urgency that most humans seemed to allow propel them through their lives and often paused to examine each moment in time.

Wakefield shoved his hand into the pocket of pants adorned on his human form and stealthily underwent a partial transformation turning each of his five fingers into the hands of clock. He took a step through the gate and instantly felt the crushing pressure that had affected the rest of his classmates. His muscles strained as he fought a losing battle against the pressure. His face though was incredibly composed as he focused on appearing calm and cool.

Wakefield was a Soul Gear, not a human, but an item to be used for humanity's benefit. If he were to accomplish anything at this school, not only did he have to pass all these tests and classes, he would need to excel at every turn. To show weakness or failure here at this point would be an automatic admission of defeat in the Academy's eyes and no doubt he would be assigned to a User at the drop of a hat. He turned to another student, a male wielding two SGs one white and black, @Conscripts and winked in a display of utmost confidence.

Turning back under the crushing weight, he rapidly tapped all five fingers against his leg at first rapidly and then more slowly. His own ability slowed down his entire body to incredibly slow speeds. Though he knew his legs were buckling under the pressure of the weight, he speed at which he was moving would be imperceptible to the human eye. So while others fell to the ground around him, Wakefield stood up against true pressure. When the crushing pressure was released from him, Wakefield dismissed his slow effect and took a tiny step forward to steady his balance.

Pleased with himself, he returned his hand to normal and pulled out one of the many papers from the Academy and noted he was to be in Group A. He spotted a one eyed human wielding another weapon type SG @IronWill and pondered the large amount of them he had already seen this day. 'They don't even have a single spring or gear, how embarrassing for them...'
@71452K just wanted to point out I also got in the vehicle at the end of my post so it wasn't just intelligence folk
@deadpixel101 Yup about two campaigns worth of DMing haha. Cool, feel free to ask anytime.
@deadpixel101 if you want help with the DnD stuff let me know I've been both a player and a regular DM/GM for pretty much every edition of the game (a lot of other trpgs as well) and can help you with whatever you might need!
Jomen Sury

Location:Academy Garage

"Hello Green Eyes, care to join in the stretching?"

Jomen glanced over at Ajax, avoiding meeting his eyes, as he asked him if he wanted to join noting the deep stretching routine that he and Celise were undergoing. Such was not an uncommon sight when one trained with Ajax. The man was entirely focused at such times at the improvement of his body and physical toughness in Jomen's opinion. However, through their time spent training together Jomen knew that the purpose of such intensive training was not for vanity's sake, but rather to increase his effectiveness on the battlefield to better protect his allies in times of conflict. That was something he could respect as another professional, despite the man's overly casual attitude. He briefly considered accepting the offer, but the draw of gaining more tactical information about the upcoming battle seemed a more advantageous decision.

"I thank you for your offer Ajax, however I need additional time to examine the battle conditions to ensure that I am working at maximum efficiency. I would also like to remind you once again that my name is Jomen Sury, rather than Green Eyes.

With that he continued to memorize the mission information and also pulled up additional maps of the surrounding area just in case. He noticed several shrines in the vicinity of Ledale, and made a mental note to mention them to Celise sometime along their journey. Another student, Jomen vaguely recognized from his own department but went inside the vehicle, though Jomen noticed several glances in his direction. He ignored the behavior though as it was extremely common among his classmates. He was distracted from the fellow research student as Ajax let out a hearty laugh. Jomen looked up at him for a moment and cocked his head at an angle and looked at him briefly, his face completely blank before looking back at his holoscreen.

"Holy eyeballs... and here I thought that I had some magnificent green eyes... Those things shoot lasers?"

The question jolted Jomen out of his focused reading as a flash of annoyance rushed through his system. His eye flicked up and met the light-greened eyes of well built student standing before him and then away. The annoyance melted away under his layer of well developed professionalism. "They do not.
They allow me to see at slightly further distances than normal and give a minor level of night vision. However, that is the extent of their abilities. If you have further questions as to my capabilities, please feel free to ask them at a later time."
With that he turned and sat opposite of the fellow research student inside the vehicle, ready to leave. He glanced briefly at research student before shutting his eyes turning inward for meditation. His eyes continued to glow slightly past his eyelids.
