Here's some of the boring stuff to get out of the way. :p

Post lengths - I'm good with just about any! I don't do one-liners because I'm wordy and my natural inclination is to write paragraphs, but for the most part I will try to match you and what your comfort level is.

I also tend to be a very literate writer out of habit, and my OCD makes me very particular about typos and grammar in my own writing. That said, I don’t expect that same level out of the people I RP with. I know that those sorts of things might not be everyone’s strong suit, so as long as you can capture the essence of the story and you’re not trying to write with text speak, then we’re good. :D

I'm afraid I do have to put these; force of habit, and easier to be on the same page. These apply mainly to any ERP stuff that might come up, but some general limits apply, too.

> Typical taboo stuff (incest, bestiality, ageplay, etc.)
> Metagaming / Powergaming
> Gratuitous violence or gore (I can do plenty as the plot requires, I just don't like a lot of graphic violence just for it's own sake)

I'm happy to chat OOC prior to and during any RP! I like to be friendly with the people I RP with if that's something they're interested in (though I respect if someone is only interested in the RP, as well).

Either way, I'm a strong believer of OOC communication to keep a story moving smoothly. Want to suggest something? Let me know. Not feeling something and want to change direction? Let me know. I'm always down for discussion!

EDIT FOR REALTALK, JULY 2020: I did have some righteous thing here about making sure to let me know if you have to leave a RP or anything like that, but then I was a hypocrite and flaked on people when life got overwhelming, and it doesn't feel right to keep that in. I still feel terrible about that and it's kept me from coming back until now, but I will say from here on, I'm holding myself to the same standard and make a point of showing that I respect the time, effort, and care of the people I'm writing with, and let any partner I have know if things become busy or if I become too stressed and need a break, rather than just disconnecting and ghosting people like an ass.

These are just some pairings I've always liked or thought would be interesting to play out; I'm totally open to whatever plot or scene can be created with them and would love to brainstorm any others not on this list, too. I don't have any specific story plots in mind, but I'd love to see what we can come up with! 

Warning that most of these pairings are romantic in nature (and I'm up for ERP if that's the direction it goes) but I'm also open to playing them however you want! In all of these I would play the second character listed (also bolded) unless otherwise stated (though I'd be willing to discuss switching if a particular role calls to you). :)

I haven't been here for years, but I am so happy to see the guild is still active! I've really been wanting to roleplay in this format again so I'm excited to get back into it with anyone who's down. :)

I guess a little about my roleplay stuff. I'm pretty flexible, with both story type and format. I'm mainly looking for 1x1 roleplay, and I generally tend to lean more toward longer, more detailed posts when I can, but I can pare down and match whatever someone is comfortable with. I also have a number of pairings and ideas that I'd be interested in developing, but I'm always willing to hear out any other ideas and brainstorm!

Mainly I'm just happy to find that places like this still exist and I'm really excited to get started creating stories with people. :)
