D&D 5e - Asembia: Untitled Roles

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick update and not have the RP feel too silent. Work has almost been a 24/7 routine for these past 2 weeks. Most days I jump out of bed to start work and once work is finished, its about time to sleep, and the process. For the little time that I do have, I need to spend do usual life stuff that requires my attention and priority. Which leaves me little time to spend on the RP. But I'm still very interested in the party and the world that will eventually unfold as they progress. I just need the the work and life balance to be correct as it should be so I can comfortably start moving things at a good pace.

Then with that said, you would see the blast heavily imptact into the thug and fall hard onto the ground.

Before I make my post, did Najila manage to slay Thug B or not? Also he'd take 5 point of damage from the Booming Blade effect.

I was a bit confuse on who Najila attacked. Did she hex the thug in the distance and blasted the nearest thug? Or did she do both hex and attack on one person, which I think happened and would be able to hit the distant thug, Thug C

With the sound of the chests blocking the door falling, Orchid stormed out and lunged towards the nearest thug, landing first attack while Aron's handaxe flew into the stone wall near the thug and Najila's Eldritch Blast flying into the dimly lit hall. But down the dark hall, the sound of a crossbow could be heard as a bolt flies and leaves a bad graze wound on her open shoulder. Following the source of the bolt and her dark vision, she could very easily see another thug, wounded, and preparing another bolt as he steps back, being 50 ft away from Orchid.

Just as the sound of the thug's reloaded crossbow could faintly be heard in the distance, the thug near Orchid closed their distance to strike Orchid. But unaware of the boom blade spell, the thug felt a sudden shock throughout his body just when he got in range to swing his mace, causing him to miss as his body trembled from the shock, but soon quickly got back into control, and slammed his mace into the side of Orchid's chest. Following the blow from the mace, it created a clear enough shot for the thug in the distance to fire another shot that would pierce into the other side of Orchid's chest.

Seeing Orchid already taking some damage, Aron rushed out, quickly pulling out his longsword with his free hand. With a few quick steps out from the storage, he leaped into the air, and his weight from the short descent, blade landed and sank deep into the thug's should as he cried out in pain. Seeing from before the bolts that came from down the hall, Aron kept his focus on current thug nearby, but called out. "We got another guy down the hall!"

With the familiar Codru-Ji stepping in with her response, Yinzeli also gave a smirk as she looked to her remark. "Glad to hear that someone else agrees. With Additional facts too!" She tried to hold back a chuggle as her attention returned back to vendor. But now there appeared to be a wookie that approached with his translator to prevent any thing more dire from happening. The vendor begrudgingly agreed to hand over his blaster, Yinzeli looked to the Codru-Ji and motioned her head over to the two that ended what could of been someone being blasted. The twi'lek left her seat and made her way towards the bar where the two sat.

With the mention of those folks, the very light blue twi'lek just sat next to the two, on the wookiee's side. "Well hi there, that man not only gave his blaster to you, but also the conversation that we had. Oh, but I'm not asking for the blaster by any means, I simply felt like stepping in what was clearly a unfair deal. But seeing as that vendor could have escalated things without your intervention, I wish to thank you two, along with my Codru-Ji friend for trying to be on my side." Yinzeli looked to the bartender and gave a apolgitic nod. "My apoligizes for starting something that could have been bad for your business." Then looking back to the two, "And to go along with such courtesy, you may call me Yinzeli".

Now, her attention being drawn to the wookie So, I have heard stories, but could never tell if they were true or exaggerations, but could your people truly tear a arm off." She says as her curious mind has her hand lifted up to reach out to feel what is hidden within the matted coat of hair, only to stop once lifted, giving looks between the wookie and zabrak. "That is, if it is okay if I felt how much muscle your friend really packs. Wouldn't want to loose my arm if this shaggy coat fellow is too sensitive of his space."

She gave a heavy sigh to Sticky's response, "No Sticky, I cannot permit you to do such a act. At least for now. I'll just take a short rest to think some things over." With that, Caeda made her way back to her cabin to try and take a short rest. But before taking a bit of rest, she looked to Othie. "Are you okay if we wait for about an hour to think about our next move? If anything, let me know of that foul presence storage changes or if it becomes familiar to something you may know."
