Whoops! Didn’t realize that when I wrote that post. I was looking at the unedited version of the DM post when I was typing it up.

Maybe Aron’s blocking the employer’s path counts as Helping to cancel out the disadvantage?

Yes, it will be at disadvantage as you don't know where he moved in the room, and that is if he is still in the room at all. So keep in mind, it will be a very difficult and lucky shot if he is even still there.
@Expolar

Since he came before the drake in initiative order, could Angus do something before getting dusted?

The drake was holding its action until its command was given. But I would say Angus could give some warning or something as he would be on guard when he heard the draconic command to attack Angus and probably just heard it move which allowed him to dodge the initial bite that broke the Drake's invisibility.
Alrighty, then how far away is the drake? If he’s next to Aron, who had to sprint to get next to the Employer, than would the drake also be about 90-100 feet away from the entrance of the hall?

Correct, Orchid would still need the same amount of movement to reach the drake as it would basically be on the same space that the employer was on.
@rush99999
Currently since this is they first round, it would be the first group of team members being Aron, Angus, and Azzen. As mentioned before you guys can make a post whenever since you 3 are allies that happen to have their initiatives next to each other for this round. So currently will need a post/roll from Angus with the death save roll and a post from Azzen.

The next group of team would be the enemies which I already posted to have everyone prepare for their next post, and will change if someone thinks they can do something to prevent what the enemy did. In this case it may be Azzen if he has any ideas.

Then once the enemies would finish, then everyone can make a post whenever as a group since your initiatives are all next to each other by that point.

@Lucius Cypher
Also yes, you can change your post since the employer was fast enough use his spell before getting hit.
@rush99999
Yes you would have to do a death save until someone heals or stabilize you.

@Lucius Cypher
Orchid's turn would come after the employer's turn. Thus Orchid would see the Employer vanished by the time she stepped into the room.
Oh okay, because its been quite a while since we had combat, I forgot to mention this, and thus sorry for the inconvenience.

After the first combat and Angus's solo combat, it made me consider a few things and decide how I wanted the postings and combat to be. Because initiative could play a important part of combat involving the timing and order of things, I thought it would be important to keep the usual initiative rule and not average the rolls. Additionally there is the factor of hidden or new enemies joining combat. Because I like to show most of my rolls, having these extra factors being added feel like can complicate the average that I do and not having hidden enemies shown in the totaling and average of the roll did not feel right to me as that average would be something that I showed everyone. However I am still keeping the rule that if the team (enemy or player) happens to have their members next to each other in the turn order, then they can make a post when ever want during that round.

In this particular case, after Azzen does his turn and as I already did the enemies turn (already posted their turn as I thought to give everyone an idea what happens, provide time for everyone to prepare a post, and felt Azzen's turn may not alter too much of it), then everyone can post make a post for their character's turn as all of the party initiative happens to be next to each other.

But in the future, lets say a party member, PC A happens to have their initiative roll be between the turns of two enemies. Then this person would have to wait for the rest of the party to post, then once I make a post of the enemy's turn that came before PC A's turn, then PC A can post.
Just as a note,

With how the initiative is and to help pacing of posts, I decided to edit the post to show what the enemies did in the initiative order. Because of this, if Azzen wanted to try and do something against the enemy before their turn finished, just let me know and I will edit the the post if it needs to be changed due to the post. Orchid, since your turn is after the enemies' turn, you can continue with your old post or change it. Just let me know which one so I know you finished your turn for this round.

Next time, I think will try to note when a situation may cause initiative rolls to occur. Also to help, please let me know when you plan to attack anyone before you make your post. That way, if the attack is not a surprise, then I will roll the initiative roll. If it was a surprise, it would be part of the surprise round and then the initiative rolls would occur. For this current situation, I felt Najila's attack would be the surprise and cause the trigger to occur for the initiative rolls. Because of the distance and visibility, I felt Orchid's post would not be surprising enough to be included in the surprise round.

EDIT:
If Orchid does continue to try and attack, please do another attack roll at disadvantage as the Employer may or may not still be in the room to attack in range of the glaive.
The Employer planned to speak soon as the highlander finished his typical aggressive response, but found difficulty to properly speak as his voice strained. He could then hear some foot steps approaching from behind the highlander and as he looked, a magical blast shot straight into his shoulder. At that moment, his throat just cleared enough for him to speak in draconic "ATTACK HIM!" as he pointed to Angus.

Seeing Orchid begin her charge into the spacious room where Angus and the Employer was. Aron sprinted ahead and flank the Employer from behind and acting as a way to block his path up the stairs that he was near to. But once Orchid would pass Angus, the highlander a shift in space would change next to the highlander, revealing a black drake of a comparable size of a big dog, suddenly appear. It tried to bite into Angus's leg, but likely sensing the attack from the Employer's command, was able to dodge the attack. But although it missed, its tailed whipped into Angus's already injured body and collapse on the ground.

The drake then continued to the next threat in the room, Aron. It charged into the man to bite into him, then followed with a tail whip, but failed. Seeing as his drake is taking cared of the man behind him and the orc woman fast approaching, the half elf could be casting a spell and then disappear from the room.

Caeda's mind wonder in question with what else could be the cause seeing as Othie is not feeling any better. Perhaps it was that pulsating sack, but as she thought of that she could her Azure's voice commanding the crew, although unsure of the command, she hoped it would relate to destroying what remained in the storage. But perhaps bringing Othie as far away from the storage may help. She reached a hand out to Othie. "Perhaps staying as far away from the storage may help ease and remove your condition."

Soon enough once Caeda prepare her back for Othie to hide and rest in, Sticky could be heard from just outside the door and providing help. Caeda slowly opened door halfway "Oh yes, thank you Sticky. But I think you are deserving of that potion as you were the one that opened the door. Without you, that 'thing' would still be there. Also as I was looking over my wounds a few minutes ago, my injuries don't appear as bad as they initially did." Opening the door a bit more and taking a quick look out her cabin, she looked back to Sticky. "I could somewhat hear Azure order some commands earlier. Have they started with removing everything that was in that storage?"

@Lucius Cypher
How would Orchid have reached the half elf when he was about 100ft away from where most of the party was? Angus is about 60 ft from the party, standing at the end of the hall that opens to the spacious room where on the other side of the room, about 40 ft away is the half elf. There is the homebrew that I mentioned where you can use your entire turn to move 5 times your speed in a straight line, but it would mean you wouldn't be able to attack on that turn. Also I'm not really counting it as a surprise round charging ahead as running down from 100 ft from where the elf is facing is something he can easily see and not be surprised. So your latest post would be Orchid's turn.

@Guardian Angel Haruki
Najila is find as you were holding your action, thus were at the ready to fire and the spell was in range.
