Wait, this friday/weekend I'm away on a school thing. I might have to just OOC it, but either way I'm not sure when I'll be able to chat online.
@MetalLoverThat's a cool idea -- but we have to figure out time zones.
@Kho@Legion02Although others said they still had to post.
@MetalLover/pol/ memes transcend /pol/, you know.
@SigmaGreat. Time to start working on a post, then...
@SigmaAscendancy -- do you mind supporting the Young Kurts instead? I only say because it's currently rather one-sided in favour of the Ozgerssary faction. I can change the lore so that the Kurtish nobility are devout Ascendants, while the Ozgerssaries are radical reformatory Ascendants in league with the apostate heretics.

It's fine if you don't want to; a story's a story, and one in which the Ozgerssaries crush a lost cause -- or the Kurts rally valiantly against all odds -- works too. But for a really good proxy war, things need to be a little more balanced.
@FrettzoHow come you want to? Levelling up matters when you want to post, no? -- And if you want to post, you could just level up then, right?

Or is there a reason I've missed?
@NatsucooldudeI'm pretty certain the setting is decided by us in this case. The basic is -- there's a council. There are some quasi-medieval factions.

That's it. The rest is our nations.

You know what I think might be best, though? @MetalLover to make a small opening post outlining the beginning of the Galactic Council meeting. Throw some hooks in to let the rest of us start. I'd suggest focusing on the troubles in Kurtiye (because this allows everyone else to get involved) -- but I'm pretty damn biased, as you'd expect.
@MetalLoverI thought you were making the first IC post?

--What kind of start are you looking for? We could have it start with a not!UN meeting discussing the end of the Kurtiye civil war and its "ceasefire", allowing the Ascendents et al to begin their cold war.
@SigmaIt's subtle. They're in the stage of communication with each other, but they disagree -- and they always bring lots of soldiers with them. They both see each other as the enemy, just not the enemy. But now the enemy is dead...

Sending troops would still be a good idea. It helps you control the outcome of the knife-fight. And it will become a knife-fight.
