Should I go ahead and make the OOC? I'd prefer to keep it to a relatively low number of people, as not to excluded anyone nor leave anyone behind.

Tentatively interested! I'm still trying to figure out how to properly balance RP'ing and college, but I'll definitely be on board for this if I feel like it's doable!

I know that feeling. It sucks xP
It will be a mixture of things, from Aquakinesis to Possesion, also each witch will have a magic they are talented in.
Define trade-your-soul-to-the-devil witch magic?
Sweet! That's two!

FINALLY WE MADE IT TO THE DOOR BEING OPENED

The Governor slowly approached with two body guards. Many of the Community members gathered around, waiting to see the door open. He gave a nod to the two men who walked over to the door. Then the Governor spoke, "Remember; Don't lose the manual, and don't screw around down there." Louie glanced at the members of the group, as the squealing of the metal door echoed through the air. The door let loose, swinging out slowly with a discomforting squeal. Dust was thrown from the inside, causing Calli to begin to cough. The first floor, at least, appeared to be illuminated. Louie took the bag of canned food from one of the men, and gave him a silent thank you. Derek peered around the corner, down the staircase. The concrete was chipped and filthy, the old bulbs flickering every once in a while. Louie was the first to move, heading down the stairs. He was followed by Calli, who was holding up fairly well. She breathed deeply, trying to calm herself. What exactly was down here? Maybe those creatures in the distance? Maybe this is where they go? She decided not to mention this idea to the others, as she knew they were nervous enough. One man, the one with the white hair, didn't seemed to phased though. She gave him a smile as she passed, and then gave a wave to the Governor. She wasn't particularly fond of him, but he didn't seem like a bad guy. Derek stood at the top of the entrance, staring down the stairs. He was trying to move forward, but his body wouldn't let him. He knew what was down here... or maybe the noises he heard really were just pipes.. But despite this idea, he couldn't get his feet to work. The Governor waited for the others to enter the Maze so they could close the door.
I'm guessing he wasn't paying attention and thought it was the OOC. Oh well!
The storm rages on outside, the rain assaulting the window. Lightning cracks, startling the girl sleeping. She breathes deeply, glancing around nervously. She always hated storms, mostly due to the loud and constant noise. She glanced towards her light switch which suddenly flipped itself into the on position. She rolled out of bed groggily and proceeded to the bathroom. Shutting the door automatically behind her. After a few moments, a toilet flush echoed through the house. She never understood why everything seemed like it made so much more noise at night. She stood up, glancing at this side of the door. As she did, her whole body went cold. A crimson liquid, still fresh, dripped down the door. It was painted on in the form of a word. Just one word: Witch. She glanced around quickly, checking the shower and cabinets for an intruder. She gulped, slowly opening the door, ready with her magic. The girl peeks out, checking the hallway. She tiptoed to her room, the feeling of being watched washed over her body. As she backed up to the far corner of her room, she glanced around. No one was here, but they were in her house. She quickly began to unlock the window. As she finally unlocked it, and began to slide it up. Lightning illuminated the sky and then she saw him. His reflection on the window. He was unmasked, not that it mattered. Within a split second, she turned to confront him and instead she felt a cold sting hit her in the chest. It was a numb feeling, but she knew she was in pain. She slowly looked down and saw the knife in her chest. She looked up, as if asking why, before she collapsed to the ground. The man glanced around and picked up the body. The police would think she was just another teen runaway. That's what they would tell her school, her parents, and anyone who asked. The witches were going to burn.

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to look at my interest check! This roleplay will follow a group of witches (male or female) as they try to develop and control their powers, while continuing their normal life. It will be a (regular, not like Hogwarts) school roleplay for a large part, so I hope that doesn't discourage you. In the roleplay you can take the role of either a witch or a regular. As a witch, the possibilities are endless. So if you're interested, please post a comment and let me know! If you have any questions, suggestions, insults, compliments, etc. just send me a message! Thanks!
