Crash
Crash’s smile grew at the pat. “Yeah, good thinking bat-girl” He grinned, closing one eye as his wayward hair poked down onto his face. “True...it’s still a little sticky but I’ll have to wash it off later, I really don’t want to keep Zivon waiting for too long. He’s gone to so much trouble...” Crash murmured before he turned away after she had retracted her hand.
He felt a smile flicker across his face as she assured him he wasn’t be offensive, that was a relief, he pulled a shirt from his drawer listening as she answered his question. He felt a slight twinge in his chest at her words. Here and there? Is that another way of knowing where to belong? “Moved around a lot I see...guessing that couldn’t have been easy on you, anywhere in particular you liked countrywise? Statewise?” Crash questioned, pulling a face as he said it. Nice one captain obvious... He pulled out another plain white t-shirt holding it in his hands a moment as he thought over his answer. “Call me a copycat, but here and there. Haven’t really spent a lot of time in one place, we had to keep moving” He answered, pulling his shirt over his head and moving over to the door. “Both of my parents fancied themselves animal specialists they would travel and protest animal rights and what not. Being shape shifters they got places no-one else could” Crash explained, kicking open the door and reappearing just as he was trying to pull his shirt down the rest of his torso, unintentionally flashing Kathy a front view of bronze lightly muscled abs he had a large purple mark on the right side of his stomach. He tugged the shirt down with a huff of annoyance, was he not capable of dressing properly now.
He frowned at Kathy as she stammered her way through another question, he raised an eyebrow at her questioningly. “Ah the jig is up then, it was that librarian earlier wasn’t it?” He grinned at her. “She gave you my full name” He shook his head but smiled all the same. “I’ve been called Crash since as far back as I can remember, I think my m-“ Crash cut himself off, looking away from Kathy briefly. “Doesn’t matter, you can call me anything you like. I generally respond to most things” He teased with a quick wink turning back into his room and grabbing his dress shirt pulling it back on over the top of his t-shirt, he reached into a laundry bin patting down the pockets of his jeans from before pulling out his phone and I.D card, before he walked back out leaving his door open he came to a standstill in front of Kathy “I’ve got a few more questions...” Crash folded his arms across his chest, resting his right arm on the left he lifted his right hand and ran his fingers over his chin looking at her as if contemplating something he actually looked pretty serious...
“What is...your favourite colour?” He quizzed her as a smile cracked through his serious expression, softening his features as he jutted his head towards the door back into the hallway. “Come on we can talk and walk, don’t want to keep the others waiting. They may question what happened to us” He jested, moving over to the door and opening it courteously for her.
