Basics:

Gender: Male
Species/Race: Shapeshifter
Age: 23 (Not far off 24)
Height: 6'2"/1.88 m
Weight: 154 lb./69.85 kg
Hair Color: Dark Red, tends to jump between wearing it up with a bandanna and down in a messy manner.
Eye Color: Left eye is Crimson. Right eye is milky white as Crash is blind in his right eye, with a nasty looking scar stretching vertically down over his eye he tends to wear a patch to cover it up. (Usually changes the color of his visible eye to Emerald green out of habit)
Skin Color: Lightly tanned
Figure: Lean/Atheletic. He's well built and stronger than he looks.
Scars: Over his right eye, an unsightly x across his left pectoral muscle.
Job: Anything and everything, moves around, doesn't settle.

Powers:

Crash is a settler, a rare mutation in shape shifters. It is the ability to eventually 'settle' on one form. The settled form will give him access to the chosen forms powers as well as becoming fully vulnerable to their weaknesses.

Settlers are not considered the most powerful of the shifters by any means, it is the opposite of what they are. But they are held in high respect because whilst they are still able to shift, their powers can be transferred over without having to fully change form. The mutation is common in pure blooded shifters.

Because he hasn't settled down yet he still has the ability to shapeshift, though he only tends to use two forms of mimicry.

+ Beast Mimicry - Crash still has the ability to change into any animal that he has seen in real life or illustrated. When in these forms he adopts their natural prowess, for example, if the animal could see in the dark so could he. He emits a small cloud of harmless purple smoke when he shifts between forms. While in animal form, he retains his human intellect, memories, and the ability to speak. No matter what animal form he takes, his hair and eyes remain red, making most of his animal forms easy to distinguish from real animals of that species.This power is not an obviously offensive one.

(Note: Crash's favourite forms are Red panda and Corgi puppy. Neither have special abilities.)

+ Mythological mimicry - This form of mimicry is where Crash's power lies. Unlike his animal form his hair and eye color does not cross over when he shifts. So far he has only been able to take on two forms, the celestial Achiyalabopa and the fearsome Chimera. (Perhaps room for a Crashizard in the future?)

Weaknesses:

- Blind Side = Crash can't see out of his right eye, the damage cannot be healed supernaturally either by him or anyone else. When he changes shape he can disguise the damage to his eye but still can't see out of it. He isn't open about the reasoning behind this.

- Possessed = Though over the years Crash has learnt to control his innermost emotions so as to control his inner demon, he still runs the risk of it breaking free. Strong negative emotions such as intense fear or rage can cause his control to wane. When this begins to happen his shapeshifting powers go array, his eyes start to glow, he begins to suffer from severe chest pain and beast like features pull through into his human form, a hoof for a hand, fangs, tails, long ears etc. If he cannot pull himself under control, he shapeshifts into a Wendigo*. Losing complete control of himself, he becomes a passenger in his own body. Descending into a feral rage that, mentally, causes him to become little more than a savage beast. Feral mind =
-May be unable to separate friend from foe and attacks everyone.
-May be unable to remember activity in primal rage.
-May revert to a state of mind where the users only thoughts are simply: fight, flight, or...hunt.

He reverts back after a few hours unless beaten in combat, despite the change harming the Wendigo directly harms Crash, therefore killing it effectively kills the shapeshifter as well.

(*The Wendigo is a Native American demon best known for its cannibalistic nature and living in sub zero temperatures. Very weak against fire. It was believed that the evil spirit of the Wendigo could transfer from one person to the next when they consumed human flesh.

After getting its claws into a shapeshifter many years ago its powers have grown and the rumour goes that a shapeshifter merely has to lock eyes with the beast in order to be marked with the Wendigo's dark mark.)

- Thunderstorms = Crash is petrified of Thunderstorms, he has almost developed a sixth sense for sensing natural thunderstorms before they arrive. When he does he will excuse himself from any and all activity to find somewhere to hide and wait it out.

-Notoriously clumsy = He may have changed but he is still as clumsy as ever!

-Afraid of medical staff = Little is known about this weakness, but nurses and doctors are as scary to him as clowns are to most people.

Personality:

Crash as he is quite aptly named, is a bit of clutz. He’s a good guy at heart but often makes a nuisance of himself, he just can’t seem to slow himself down, he’s usually full of energy and isn’t happy unless he’s busy! He isn't good when it comes to serious matters, often remaining jovial despite all odds which others can find infuriating at times. He's physically unable to stay still for too long and severely dislikes anything that requires him to be so, he gets extremely restless and struggles to concentrate. Both of these facts can make him seem fairly immature to others.

Crash is notorious for keeping a smile on his face and maintaining a positive energy. He doesn't tend to showcase his personal emotions, it could be said that he hides them behind his jovial nature or it could be taken that he really is carefree enough to let things go. He’s always willing to help out, he’s easy to talk to and although he may not always know what to say he makes for a good listener.
If you're going to ask a favour of him though bear in mind that sometimes his clumsiness gets in the way and he may unintentionally end up making things worse before they get better.

He's an intelligent chap but his social perception is awful, sometimes he talks before thinking. He's particularly nervous about casually talking to women and can become quite flustered, it's incredibly easy to make him blush. When he's flustered he's even more clumsy than usual.

Background:

-Athalia wiki link for the long history-

Crash was badly injured during the destruction of Athalia, he stayed to take a final stand against Marcus and arguably wouldn't have survived without Mercy's help. Fleeing along with everyone else his guardian decided it'd be best for both of them to leave the magical realms of Lavanya behind completely and return to the mortal realm.

With Maria's help, Crash swore an oath not to use his powers under any circumstances whilst he was there, though he was permitted to hide his peculiar eye color so as not to raise suspicion.

So despite his reluctance to leave he was shipped back to the mortal realm and the mortal way of living. He stayed with Mercy for 6 months before leaving her to travel or rather to wander...losing Athalia and the people there left him with a wound that wouldn't heal, the fact that he had left the other survivors to oppose Marcus, cut deeper still.

4 years on Crash has been to every corner of the mortal realm, drifting from place to place, even spending time in a band whilst searching for a way back to Lavanya. Some time during those 4 years Crash lost the use of his left eye after his 'past' finally caught up with him, it was a choice between breaking his oath and taking his dues...needless to say he's a loyal son of a gun.

A few weeks ago Mercy gave him what he'd absently been searching for, though made him promise to stay until after her wedding...

Other:

- Crash tended to carry a pair of drumsticks around Athalia Academy and still does today out of habit.
- He uses his shapeshifting powers to change cosmetic things about himself, covering up unsightly scars or changing his eye color. It doesn't take up much of his stamina to use and only requires a small amount of concentration to maintain it.
- Knows his way around a few medical procedures, nothing worthy of a hospital though he'd make a good field medic...if you trusted him to treat you.
- He's very self-conscious about his injured eye.
- Crash has a few keepsakes from his travels, a small piece of lightning ridge black opal which he wears on a short black necklace. A 'snowglobe' and a small assortment of precious gems and trinkets.

(Favourite video game character: Eurgh least favourite question. It's a toss up between Rikku and Link couldn't possibly choose between them ^^)
@NarayanK
Kinda need a Crash to get that train moving again... xD @FaithsRose But I am beginning to consider it. Thanks for the info!

Heh, I'll have you know the elusive shapeshifter is due to return :P -Nudge nudge- @Theobromine Either way, good to see you Guild side again~! ^^
A little over three weeks for me. We're about halfway through. It's been gorgeous weather too, and the campus is beautiful, so we've just been outside a lot. :D

Nice :D That's a decent length for a holiday ^^ And awesome that the weather has been so good!

(Sorry for the late response)
<Snipped quote by FaithsRose>

I've been busy. And exhausted. Otherwise alright xD

Ah ^^' Hope you can catch up on some rest soon! Glad to hear you're doing alright around those though :D

It's spring break! I'm having a lot of fun being one of 2 people left in halls.

Nice xD Must be pretty quiet with only 2 of you there ^^ If you don't mind me asking, how long is spring break? (Just out of random curiosity ^^')

Hey ^^ Just making it known that I have been about <.< even if it doesn't seem like it ^^'

How's everything going over here?

Hope you're all doing well!

<Snipped quote by FaithsRose>

CaTony is interesting simply because they are so opposite. And Cat seems to enjoy taking advantage of it and messing with Tony.

As for the Fuel Run, I was just waiting for the confrontation between the gang and our group. XD but not too sure how it plays out

I would completely agree with the CaTony info there xD Ah ok, sorry I'll try and give you some action to respond to ^^

When in doubt, throw in some action? The gang and the survivors proposes an excellent plot device. There can be confrontation between the two, or you can go an entirely different route and toss in some walking dead to scare the crap out of them both. How well can these groups collect supplies when they're under attack? If it's going stale, make it more exciting.

And congrats @FaithsRose for getting into your top choice uni!

That is usually my policy ^^' You're absolutely right of course, sorry had a bit of a stumble there >.< I'm feeling responsible for it being so hard for Rarity to jump back in to the story, was hoping it wasn't because of the storyline we've got going on ^^'

Thank you! :D

<Snipped quote by FaithsRose>

I would not say that, I just don't feel I need to rewrite what I have done before. Anyway it is far from stale, you just got to get the blood flowing via a knife fight, gun fight or worse come to worse a human vs human vs zombie fight.

Ah I see, thank you for clarifying that for me ^^' Perfect ideas ^^ I'll try my best to get some action flowing through! Might even incorporate all of those ideas xD

Head is back in the game now ^^ This'll be my first time writing action scenes/posts with 'normal humans', I'll give it my best shot <.<' Just let me know if it seems...weird ^^'
Farmhouse

- Mercy -

The blonde woman wasn't surprised that the dark haired twin didn't comment about her first statement. She was however pleased when he answered her question about Dog. It was a confusing answer rather ambiguous in nature, it caused confusion to leak into her expression though she didn't attempt to push the subject any further, what he had told her was enough for her to think over. A shiver ran down her spine however as she focused on his last sentence, she would have to thank Dog for that some how...providing his word was enough to influence his temperamental brother whilst he was away.

Before she had even had the chance to excuse herself, Cat moved first. She inhaled sharply, holding the air in her lungs as he swiftly passed her and disappeared out of the door without another word. Once he was gone she released a shaky breath and brought a hand up to her chest, resting it atop her breast as she took a few deep breaths. "That's quite enough 'excitement' for one day..." She murmured to herself, sarcasm present in her tone as she said excitement. With that said, she turned on her heel and exited the attic as well, nervously looking out for Cat as she descended the stairs before skittering into her room. She dropped her first aid kit back into her backpack on her way to the bathroom, grabbing the glass off of the side of the sink she tipped a portion of sterilisation fluid into it before dropping the needle in to it. A smile crossed her face as she washed her hands, having tended to Cat's wound as she had told Dog she would, she was now free to do as she pleased. Having spoken to Lloyd earlier she had a good idea what to do next.

Mercy was barely able to contain her excitement as she scooped up her bow and grabbed her quiver, though the distance between her and Tamashii weighed on her mind, sitting around worrying about it wasn't going to help. She hastily made for the door to her room, a few seconds later she was trotting down the stairs sliding past Cat silently if he was still near the staircase before she shot through the front door. As she hopped down onto the grass she took a deep breath, willing her heart to return to a steady beat now that she was safe...ish. Without a moments hesitation she made a beeline for the barn, a smile lit up her face as she was greeted by a friendly whicker from Bandit, whom was stood with his head over his door. Providing no-one was already in there, she rested her bow against the wall next to the door alongside her quiver before approaching the piebald, who nuzzled her hand eagerly as she stroked his neck with her other one. "I'm going to guess you'd like to spend a few hours out hmm? The inside fence is secure so it wouldn't hurt" She murmured to him, scratching his forehead before reaching for the head collar by his door.

Fuel Run

- Bulldog, Hank, Shade & Guy -

Shade had left the building before Dog and Tamashii had even made it through the door, as they edged inside he was jogging back down the alley towards Bulldog's truck. When he reached Bulldog's window he nodded his head at his boss before holding up 5 fingers for the other man to see, after a moment he curled 3 of his fingers in towards his palm pointing back over his shoulder. Using his hands he explained the position of the other survivors. Bulldog reached over and wheeled his window down as Hank begun to shift about in his seat clearly excited by what he had seen so far. "You're sure?" Bulldog questioned him, dropping his pencil in his lap he reached up and scratched at the stubble darkening his chin. Shade nodded his head once more, staring at Bulldog with a platonic expression. "Armed?" Bulldog asked, watching Shade as the man lifted his arm holding it horizontally he tilted it form side to side as if unsure. "Military grade or civilian?" Was Bulldogs next question. Shade held up two fingers as his answer, a grin spread across Bulldog's face before he noisily clapped his hands together rubbing them eagerly he turned to face the other two men in the car.

"Well, what's the plan?" Hank asked impatiently. "Alright boys sounds like we've got some recruiting to do! Guy drives us straight through those corpses keep this car between that group and whoever is in there, just in case they don't want to play nice. Then finish off those things whilst Hank and I...negotiate. Shade clear them out of that building, try not to damage them too much" Bulldog ordered, waving a dismissive hand at Shade who instantly headed back down the alley he had just come out of. Hank scooted across the back chairs jumping out of the back of the truck as Bulldog got out of the front seat. Both men went round to the back of the truck and hopped into the cargo bed at the tail end of the vehicle.

- Meanwhile -

- Tamashii & Shade -

Tamashii edged further into the building, it had been left in a complete mess unlike the outside. The front counter was covered in a thick layer of dirt, empty stands had been tossed behind it along with a broken cash register. Broken fridges lined the left wall, some with doors and some without, a lot of shelves had been pushed over and were leaning against each other blocking the aisles. Tamashii stepped forward carefully negotiating her way through the litter scattered across the floor, her eyes inspecting every possible hidey hole that she came across. She turned back to glance Dog as he whispered softly, though she had to admit the entire petrol station they were in, caused prickles of unease to crawl beneath her skin she wasn't getting any bad vibes from the building they were in.

"It'll be fine, this place looks pretty empty" She attempted to assure Dog as she became a little more confident and crossed the small shop floor, to the open door of a small office, she edged around the door frame, inspecting the room cautiously. One of the windows in the office had been completely removed but apart from that it was empty. "This place must have been ransacked...strange how it's messy in here but clean outside" She commented reappearing out of the office, though she was still visibly tensed she was more confident with her movements as she started to rummage through the filthy shelves.

"Well since you're here as well, help me look around, there may be something useful in here" She told Dog, glancing over at him as she spoke, sifting through a few empty containers on one of the shelves before she walked over to a pile of rubbish, something caught her attention and she swooped down to dig it out. Crouching next to the pile she brought a dirty vial of nail polish up, holding it so she could see it properly in the light filtering through the door. "Hmm, Mercy's favourite color..." She murmured to herself, standing up so she could tuck it into her jeans as she did this a tinny rattle echoed around the building as if someone had caught a can with their foot. Tamashii's eyes lifted to see where Dog was, though something told her the jovial twin hadn't caused the noise. As her hand dropped to her firearm, someone shot out of the shadows and seized the back of her shirt, hauling her back off of her feet, the man turned sharply and threw her into a row of shelves. The action rendered Tamashii severely disorientated as she lay splayed across the broken wooden shelves.

Shade didn't wait for the brunette to recover, knowing she was alive was enough, leaving her there he swiftly turned to find Dog. Unless Dog had run from the building it wouldn't have taken the hooded assailant long to track him down in the small shop. Shade approached Dog more carefully than he had Tamashii, though he noticeably left the other man a path towards the open door as he moved in closer. If Dog didn't take the generously offered escape route, Shade felt obliged to 'convince' him that he should. Shade slowly came to a stand still lifting one of his arms, he pointed at Dog before pointing at himself he curled his fingers into his palms and lifted his fists to chest level dancing from one foot to the other, a challenging smirk crossed his dark face, as the screeching of tires on tarmac filtered into the room and Bulldog's voice split the silence that followed.

-Bulldog, Hank & Guy-

Having given Shade a few moments to 'flush' out the two survivors from the building, Bulldog couldn't wait any longer. He tapped the top of the trucks cab, signalling for Guy to accelerate. The nervous man obliged and slammed his foot down on the accelerator causing the truck to leap forward. The heavy revving seemed to reverberate around the surrounding buildings as the vehicle shot forward towards the corpse infested opening. Though the survivors moving between the cars would have already heard them it may have been a surprising sight as the truck suddenly rammed through the small group of walking corpses that had gathered in the entrance to the city. After mowing down two of the corpses, the truck screeched to a halt in the opening between the city and the petrol station, resting across the space at a diagonal angle. Bulldog was stood in the back of truck, leaning on the cab though he was ready to duck if any bullets flew at him, he had his shotgun rested on his shoulder and his eyes seemed to instantly seek out anyone who hadn't already ducked down or dove into cover. Hank stayed down, swinging one of his axes into one of the corpses skulls on the other side of the truck, watching as Guy skirted around the last two, working to finish them off quickly.

Hank hopped out of the back of the truck, walking round to the tailgate he swung one of his axes around as he came to stand in the survivors view, keeping half of his body behind the truck as he waited for their reactions. "Warriors...come out to play-i-ay" Bulldog taunted, raising his voice so it travelled across the large space in front of him. Despite the fact this man looked dangerous, his voice didn't sound it, there was an irritating squeakiness to it that almost seemed to offend ones ears. Hank cast his boss a look of disapproval, rolling his eyes before sweeping his gaze over the cars in front of them. "I know you're out there, how about we skip the game of hide and seek? I'll give you two options, option one you all come out now so we can have a nice friendly chat...or option two, stay where you are, though I can't promise we'll be gentle when we find you" He shouted out, trying to keep the amusement out of his tone as he did.

Been going well, and I'm excited for interaction as well. Glad to see you around

<Snipped quote by FaithsRose>

Having a really chill day with my housemates, things are good. I look forward to the CaTony scenes too! How're you doing FR?

Sorry about the delay in replying, that is or rather was good to hear ^^' Glad you had time to chill teapot :) I'm doing great thank you, I got accepted into my chosen uni 4 days ago which is why I've been so quiet over the last few days, didn't realise how much there was to do ^^'

<Snipped quote by FaithsRose>

I don't really see the point in posting, I am only gathering fuel and it is not all that exciting. The fact she is going a little off the deep end makes me think even if the other group were close by she would do nothing. But that is just me. Not that I am leaving, it is just my motivation for everything is gone at the moment. My motivation has been like this for several weeks now, but I do plan on seeing this to the end, I think I should be able to have one completed group RP, plus I really like the group I am in.

Fair point ^^' Sorry about that. Hmm can understand the lack of motivation at the moment over here :S Excluding the excitement of a CaTony interaction, this fuel run idea has gone a bit stale hasn't it...? ^^'

@Rarity, teapotshark hit the nail on the head there <.<' Can only add on what I've already said to you ^^'

Now I have to admit I've hit a wall in my own writing :S my motivation for this idea has pretty much evaporated and if I was honest with all of you, not entirely sure where I stand at the moment ^^' I don't want to put pressure on Rarity! Or anyone else but I'm a little confused on what to do now/what comes next :S

I'm voicing this concern now because it seems like a plausible time to do so, doesn't put limitations on anything or potentially damage the plot line ^^' Just to note this isn't me leaving, I'm not giving up on this RP or group! Am in for the long haul ^^' Just want to clear up my own confusion.
Hey, how's everyone doing over here? ^^

I see we could have some very interesting CaTony interaction going on soon xD...well providing Chris doesn't find out...<.<'

Really enjoyed reading through both of the new posts ^^ (Not sure if I mentioned that before :S)

I've started piecing together another post myself <.<' CatDog's spooky suspicions may just turn out to be right xD I won't post anything up until MC has had a chance too though.
Thank you :D I'll go with Medium Orchid if that's okay ^^
