I bring you knowledge. (not sure if you're still on but it sounds like you have the less severe version)

And now she has an impossible to pronounce name, It's like she was sent here to make me feel like an idiot. Jason almost sighed with relief when she gave a nickname he could use. He nodded at the vaguely cryptic answer to her being new to Vale, figuring it normal that someone didn't feel like sharing their life story with a stranger.

Since he'd turned from looking out the side window Jason was able to see that their airship was approaching the landing pad at Beacon. "Well, looks like you'll be able to find someone who knows what their talking about." He said, pointing out the front of the ship to the landing pad.

As they landed and a voice asked them to disembark, he gestured to the now open doors. "Ladies first."
What the hell did i just read?!
It's sounding like team two is going to be a barrel of fun.
Jason had turned from the window at the tap on his shoulder to face the faunus girl. And of course she asked him about the academy, of wich he knew embarrassingly little.

"Not much, I'm embarrassed to say. Just what is common knowledge, the headmaster is professor Ozpin. I don't even know enough to tell you whats different about it from the other academies." He managed to get his rambling under control, embarrassed.

"Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm Jason." He said, offering his hand.

"Are you new to Vale?"
If I remember correctly, there was talk about Tamn and Lyle partnering up, which would work because it seems like Leon and Jason would make a strong fighting duo.

Sounds good to me, though I think I need to work on his semblance a bit, figure out exactly what it can and cannot stop.
"Oh, good." As the hologram blinked off Jason couldn't help a small smile from appearing at the speakers verbal floundering.

The general air of excitement from the rest of the passengers and quite chatter increased as well, giving the area a pleasant buzz of anticipation. As Jason pondered the words of the hologram, a familiar feeling whenever something important was about to happen crept into him. A mild tightness in his stomach accompanied by the an inkling that something or everything was about to go horribly wrong.

Don't do this to yourself you idiot. Taking a deep breath, he did his best to push the thoughts from his mind before they could take hold. Slowly releasing his breath he felt the tightness leave with it, the unease turning to the excitement he'd felt upon first boarding the ship. With that his mind was once again draw to the new weight of antique iron wrapped in dark leather at his leg. He rested his hand against the wooden grip, feeling over the engraving and small blemishes it had gathered over its long life.

I wonder if you felt this way too.

He resumed his gazing out to the city below, wondering at what would be next.
Ok I'm back.... Holly crap! Every time i go somewhere you people go nuts with the posts. Oh in case you're all interested, Jurassic World is awesome!
Might be an idea.
Maybe something along the lines of a Flash-Bang if you prefer the performance route. Or a kind of minor levitation, let you glide around like your skating or something. (could leave behind a flaming trail a la Back to the Future)
