Just post and try to forget about it.

Wow America. Voting for a misogynist reality TV star bigot who jokes about assaulting women? Really? I've never been more disappointed in my countrymen/women.

Natalie Hawkins -- Refusal amd Curiosity

Her offer was met defensively, with little surprise.

However, what was rather intriguing was the fact it was not the girl who she offered who adamantly refused. It was her friend, seemingly tonsay the least. Her tone seemed almost accusational towards the Maiden, but despite that she paid very little heed to it. She saw past the hostile one, and her eyes adeptly remained affixed on the girl. After all, it was to she whom the Maiden made the offer, not the one guarded her almost possessively. Perhaps it was purely out of goodwill, or perhaps out of envy; after all, it was not often that a camper was chanced a glance into a maiden's home.

Even though this girl may have been blind.

Interestingly, the girl seemed shy. Though each move she made bespoke of hesitation, over what precisely remained a mystery, yet it was still another piece of a puzzle regardless. Crooking a brow and gazing down upon Niesha, she spoke to her first; well, to everyone within earshot.

"What you say is true, I am a Maiden of the Hunt. However, my loyalties are now divided in two. First, as a teacher for this camp, my duties are devoted to you and your company. Second, I will also eternally serve my Goddess." Deftly snapping her bow so that it latched to her back, her hands remained raised slightly as if she were adapting a defensive posture.

Instead, her brilliant azure gaze remained upon Syl afterward. "It is simple, really. There is no point for me to sew deception or a trap. My duties here, until Chiron and "Mr. D" as you so call him, find a new archery instructor, my place is here to serve you all. However, that is not all I have to offer to you all as a teacher. I have been alive for over two millenia, and seen much of the world as a result. I could tell you wondrous stories, lessons in archery, swordfighting, even stories of great heroes and heroines in their youth, to show you that we all began just as young and new as each of you."

Humbly, the Maiden would bow her head deeply instead of holding onto that enigmatic arrogance that most Huntresses were known for.

"Until Artemis herself relieves me of this duty, I am at your service. You cam find me at the edge of the wood by the practice range in my tent of you seek my counsel, on anything." Raising her head, she gracefully turned about and headed away from the small group whilst dropping her hood so that a river of fiery hair fell past her shoulders, and a scent of lilac took to the air.

As frustrating as the immediate hostility was, Natalie had expected it. For not many held even the thought of the Hunt in any sort of positive light. Getting her students to trust her would take tome, thankfully for the Goddess Artemis, she had plenty of it.

Waving her hand over her shoulder a nonchalant farewell escaped her lips, "Adieu. Syl, I believe that is your name, oui? If you wish to speak with me like I sense you do, all you need is to ask but once. Though may I recommend a guide to my quarters, all you need is to follow the scent of lilac. Trust your senses, and you will find me."

Subtly, unbeknownst to anyone else other than the Huntress herself, it was a test of sorts.

Moments later, she disappeared into the treeline, headng for her home.

@Feisty-PantsNot really, it's nor liked he asked for subjects, but he didn't really care about them. This ebvent was back when his God Complex was still developing and before he really had any good relationships wirh people. Now a days, if he needs to test something out involving humans, he'll test on an animal, then try it out in combat see if it functions in a similar way. He also pretty much finished looking into how to affect living things with his powers when he was with the Chinese. Now he's more focused on how to affect the world, things like electrons amd weather manipulation.

Those tests he tends to do in the middle of the ocean somewhere, usually near the Artic. More privacy, less chance of hitting Cruise liners

But what about those arctic cruises?!

@Feisty-PantsAiden does some reaearch and studying with his abilities, but the way I see itr, he learns best by trying shit out. Even if he lacks book learning on the subject, he still can get a feel for things through practice. For example, his ability to control his nervous system is something he figured out through getting a basic knowledge, then experimenting with it on POW's the chinese sent to his training camp. None of them died from what he did, but a few lost their abilities to walk, speak, hold long term memory, hold short term memory, and/or there ability to feel pain, amongst other things.

Just as an example.

He's just as bad as Adam Pride. :P

So he wouldn't ubderstand how Koto's microkinesis works. Let alone see a video of it. How she creates such huge releases of energy isn't very well known outside the ENMA Campus. All they know is that she can do it, but the fact that blasts like that come from a small dot the size of a raindrop might be terrifying to people, so it's kept silent.

I would like to question people on something, so I have a bearing on what to do.

See, I've been researching more, and I found out that Quarks - the things that make up the things - have fractional electric charged, making them charged particles. Now, that falls under my characters ability, but due to his level I don't know whether or not I should actually include this, or at the very least include something to do with it. And its been bugging me for a while, so I thought I'd ask now rather than later.

What do ya'll think?

Not sure! You'd have to as Haruna. ^^;

I couldn't touch micro kinesis until level 10. ^^;

@Saltwater ThiefSounds like a particularity irksome individual, to say the least.

I was good friends with him for a couple years. At least I thought I was until.I heard what he was saying about me behind my back to others.

It made me so angry, I don't even remember what it was. Something about how I sent nudes to him or something horrendously stupid like that. (Salty might remember what it was, feel free to say, if you remember.) Which, with how closely guarded I am about me and my identity because lol, internet, is completely false.

@Feisty-Pants Pitou was the 4th.

@Raijinslayer What Liar is is an egomaniacal manchild who kicks and screams whenever he doesn't get his way, thinks he should be adored by everybody because he's Liar, and has a compulsion to try and control or Insert himself Into things like none I've ever seen.

I forgot about our resident aussie.

@Feisty-PantsAh, gotcha.

Questio : Do you think that by causing the electrons in something to go crazy via energising them, would he be able to disrupt/weaken things like the vaccum field or the anti-matter nuke? Is what i said even possible/feasible?

I'm trying to rhink up up xounters that Aiden wpould have set up for Kotori, but given my lack of knowledge in physics and exactly how electricity intreracts with everything makes it a bit difficult.

That's the problem in a way. The electrons themselves wouldn't exist in a vacuum. There is zero matter near him for him to manipulate in order to cause any disruption. He can generate electricity himself, but without any physical matter around him, the electrical charge has literally nowhere to go.

That, and since she now knows that the Hand of God is electrokinetic thanks to his display at ENMA, she can compensate for any interference from external sources by creating a massively dense sphere of positively charged air that is similarly grounded. It would negate any severely strong electrical charge by using Aiden's electricity against him.

The charge will be dispersed along the positively charged air and it would literally flow around the vacuum sphere he's trapped in only to be uselessly grounded split seconds later.

Additionally, I'm not sure how to counter her Antimatter nukes. There really isn't a way unless he can counter with an equally strong telekinetic to bring an abrupt stop to the insane strength of the shockwaves and release of intense heat and energy (thousands upon thousands of degrees in heat, comparable to a star for a few split seconds) from the second antimatter touches any form of matter (including air).

However, Aiden also knows her unwillingness to cause collateral damage. Which means she won't be using antimatter nukes without a way to prevent it from damaging innocent lives as much as possinle. Which means fighting her in an urban, heavily populated environment would be preferable for him. Out in the open, she can surround him with thousands of Antimatter nukes, and contain the blast in a hardened telekinetic sphere. Which not only results in Aiden dealing thousands of bursts of insane energy, but their shockwave echoes as they bounce off the telekinetic field she surrounds them with.

The question is then is does Aiden truly grasp the level of physics that he's dealing with? It's part of why Kotori has a Doctorate in Physics. So she can truly understand what she's doing.
