Ira stood over the newly birthed Mammon, waiting to see if he took to the new vessel or if they were going to have to find a new one. She really hoped not, her patience was growing thin, and she knew Lu... her master. She really needed to not think of him by that suicidal pet name Bel had given him. Her master was not a patient individual, and he would be expecting results. He was already going to be frustrated when he heard what she had done to that D'finn, but she just couldn't help it. So what if she had blown up it was perfectly-
"Am I alive?" Mammon had spoken, and when she heard the voice she realized that they had picked someone old, the voice was deep, thinning at the upper registers though, and with Mammon's voice over laced in it the sound was almost comical.
"Yes brother." Bel spoke first. That ticked Ira off, she was the one who had done all the work, Bel hadn't even been the one to get the vessel to take his blood, it had all been her effort why did he get to talk first.
"We brought you here brother, and now we need you to come with us. We have no time to waste, Bee is next to be born." Ira interjected, "Things are coming to a climax quite a bit quicker then he had anticipated, apparently they made it easy for us. The bloodlines are all gathered around the gate, and it appears they have forgotten what the real danger is." Ira was excited by the time she finished.
"It would be faster and easier, but Ira couldn't resist having her fun, and now, while they may not know what, they are aware that something is amiss."
"I want..." Mammons voice was growing more and more raspy.
"Brother?" Ira asked suddenly uncertain.
"I want..."
"Oh hells." Bel disappeared, blinking out of sight and with a shriek Ira threw her hands in front of her, and chains materialized bursting from the walls and wrapping her in a protective bubble, just as Mammon's vessel's flesh withered, crumbling into a yellow light that flooded the room.
Bel blinked back into the room, sniffing at the black char that now covered it. There was a groan and then the sharp rending sound of metal being split as Ira exited the now molten cocoon of chains. "Looks like you managed to mess this up too Ira."
"Shut. Up. You, worthless, good for nothing, laze about!" The girl spoke through gritted teeth, hate in every syllable, shrieking the last bit.
No worries, all are welcome, all are welcome. :)
Sounds like we have some interest, I'm working on the OOC, CS's, and IC now, I'll either be posting a shoddier version tonight, or a more polished version tomorrow.
Posted in the IC with my characters, will be updating on what the antagonists are doing shortly, and Wanderer I'm also sending you a quick PM.
-Connor-
Connor was stricken by how vehemently Rose reacted to the concept of coming to the nest, he had always just assumed she stayed away of her own volition, plenty of vamps did, but beyond that it was the not feeling welcome part that got to him. He kind of got where she was coming from being a half blood and all, but he was a half blood too, and the D'finn had never been anything but kind to him... at least their brand of kindness. Which come to think of it, did come with a lot of aggression. Their kindness was actually kind of akin to a nest of hungry vipers savagely fighting over a rodent, and that was on the good days.
So maybe it made sense she felt unwelcome, he was about to make a counter remark when the door opened to Roland and Kira walking in. Wait a minuet. Kira was back?

-Roland-
"Rosie! Connor!" Roland tried to defuse what was obviously some tension between the two of them with warm hellos, "You guys remember Kira right?" Roland asked with a grin, "The pup is back from Ireland."
"Kira, I didn't know you were back. And great Roland, perfect timing," Connor took the opportunity, to try and get Roland on his side, plus since both his parents were at the council meeting right now chances were he would find out all of this information at some point, either later tonight, or tomorrow. "I just got a call from my Uncle, asking me to head over to the D'finn nest. The council thinks someone is specifically targeting the D'finn vampires. Apparently two days ago a D'finn branch family's mother came to my Uncle, to report to him that her son had gone missing. Uncle Mike thought we could handle it in house, but now it looks less like a run away, more like a specific act against the bloodline as a whole, so he wants me to take her to the station to give an official report to the police." After he finished almost as an afterthought he turned to Rose, "Hence why I don't feel comfortable leaving you here all on your own, if someone is targeting D'finn's you might be on the chopping block with the rest of us."
"Wait, wait, hold up a minuet," Roland said holding his hands up and shaking his head lightly, "Let me get this straight, the D'finn's were going to just not report a missing child?" He finished the statement with emphasis on the last word.
"Well in our defense he only really looks like a kid. He is full blooded, a true born vampire, so technically he's in his mid thirties, its actually a bit creepy, but parents are weird with vampire kids, and since they still look like kids it's hard for some of them to reconcile that they're full grown, so children is a loose term. Technically her son is older than we are, so Uncle Mike was gonna deal with it internally. The way he figured it odds were with the overbearing mother the guy might have just run off for some peace and quiet, I mean by human standards the guy is a full grown adult, he just really doesn't look like it." Connor finished the explanation then chuckled, "Thank the gods that that particular trait doesn't hold true for half breeds, eh?"
"We are getting distrated from the point here, there is now a missing D'finn, and a dead D'finn. It's starting to look more like a pattern than before, and I definitely agree, neither of you should be going anywhere all on your own, so I guess we will just have to accompany the both of you to the nest." Roland said with a note of finality to his voice.
Alright, I will be posting the OOC within the next few hours!
Lucifer on Ice sounds like the most fabulous show ever lol
Well I have a couple of different possible plots, it all depends on the characters we get once the OOC and Character sheets are posted, I generally go in with three or four possible arcs for RPs to take and then based on who joins finish forming the arcs with the characters in mind.

As for this rp it could be anything from starting out mid hunt for an ancient vampire and his militant nest to battling a demon hell bent on releasing Lucifer on earth (yes, pun intended).
So the idea that I have for this rp is that there are people in the world who, under extreme, life or death pressure develop a tattoo-like mark that gives them extraordinary powers. The mark is reminiscent of the power it grants (I.E. a mark in the form of flames might be control over fire). Some marks are semi-hereditary, and marks reminiscent of ancestral marks are passed on through bloodlines, others are brand new, never before seen, some are common and shared among many of the marked while others are absolutely unique.

In addition to the Marked there are rune sketchers, seers, and magi. These individuals, along with the marked, are the awakened to the presence of the supernatural in the world. They see the demons, the werewolves, the vampires, and all the monsters of the night, and what they choose to do with them is up to them. Some marked fight and hunt them blindly, others make alliances with them without morals or mercy, and some others find the good in even the monsters.

Marked- there are three kinds of marks, anima, physica, and potentia, anima marks have the ability to leave the skin to create living creatures, animate familiars that are linked mind and soul to the marked, physica marks have the ability to leave the flesh to become physical items, weapons or tools that the marked can use and manipulate, and potentia remain on the skin, granting the user extraordinary abilities such as the control of fire or water.

Rune sketchers- have the ability to manipulate the world by putting energy into specific runes, creating powerful protections, wards against evil, or dangerous traps.

Seers- there are two different sights, the first being the ability to see auras, the life energy of all living creatures, there are many variants to their sight and their skill at seeing, the second is the ability to see the future or past, and like the other form of sight it comes in varying forms and strength

Magi- have the unique ability to manipulate the elements and energies of the world through spoken spells

Hunters, an umbrella term for the marked, seers, sketchers, and magi, tend to gather and stay with one another in groups for safety, there are several well known gathering places all over the world, we will most likely be starting in the northwest United States in a place called the Ravenwoods Inn, a three floor establishment, the tallest and oldest building in Bellhaven, Washington. The Ravenwood's are a long, proud line of hunters, and the Inn houses their family, as well as several permanent live in hunters, and is constantly a safe haven for traveling hunters.

I have several plot lines in mind and will decide which one to go with based on the characters we get.
Finally got my post up, sorry if it's a bit crappy, posted from my phone, I'll clean it up when I get to a computer.

My character (Kaden) is currently on his own.
