Vi froze for a moment at the mention of high school. On their way to this little theater, the ring leader mentioned that both her and Vandal were going to have to attend a school. What is school like? What kind of things would I do there? These thoughts bounced around in the girl's head as she zoned off and focused on nothing in particular. She had spent her entire life in the circus and with the other carnies. The thought of being thrust out into the real world sent a shiver up her spine. Then, she thought back to what their boss told them about high school. Apparently, there would be over several hundred other people around their age...and they are going to have to learn stuff. It wasn't the kind of fun stuff like learning a routine or a new trick. It was, as the big man himself put it, "practical knowledge". Working with numbers, writing essays, learning another language, science, history, PE, electives....Her vision began to blur and her head felt light.

"...but I have no idea what to expect" Vandal's words snapped her out of her self induced anxiety attack. One look at the floor in front of them told her that they were just about done cleaning up all of the glass.

"O-Oh. Um...Yea. Me neither" she responded with a light sigh. "I'm...actually really nervous about school". It was true that they don't have a lot of experience out there in the real world, but they weren't stupid...at least, she didn't think they were stupid. "You know? We might both be a little worried about this, but we should be fine? I mean, we should be fine as long as we stick together" she tried her best to reassure Vandal.
The backstage didn't look much better than the lobby. Vi could swear that she's never seen this much dust in her life. When she walked through the door, she saw her bro sweeping up what looked like some old stage lights and broken glass shards. "Vandal! Hey there, little trouble maker. What did you do this time?" She took a moment to listen to his case and consider it carefully.

"They're nothing like trapezes now, are they?" she heard the muscle man comment.

"Ooooooooooh, so THAT'S what happened!" She looked at Vandal with a smile as she grabbed an extra broom. She thought that he might appreciate the help, even if he didn't want to show it. "Yea...this place isn't like our old tents. Everything's just sorta falling apart". Vi noticed that Some of the glass got stuck really good into the wooden floorboards. "You know...I wonder if this is a good idea. I mean...I would love to continue what we do, but...I'm not sure we'll be able to fix this place up with the money we have. I know the boss said not to worry about it, but..." she trailed off as she focused her attention on getting a few of the glass shards out of the floor.
Sorry I took a little long to get my response up.
The death of the man covered in ice was being covered in a special report on the news. This television was one of the primary light sources for the very dark room. That, and the light pouring in through the gaps between the blinds. Planted on the couch in the center of the room, Olivia was watching the news report with casual joy.

"Ooooooh, another animal sent to the slaughter. What a shame" she sneered. Her iPod was lying by the wall being charged, and it was currently playing Carmen. In the background, a tall, bulky figure was delicately pouring a kettle of tea into a cup. When it finished, it brought the tray over to Olivia and set it down on the coffee table. "Thank you Jacques" she responded before taking her drink and sipping it"

"Hrrrrrrrgh" The large figure simply grunted. It continued standing awkwardly as the dainty woman continued to enjoy her tea.

"You know, there's no way I'm letting Noel get ahead of me" setting her cup down, she turned toward the big creature and toyed with her closed parasol. "I know, Jacques, I know. We're not actually having a contest, but I like to keep track of this stuff by myself. That way, if the boss is ever looking to promote someone, I can whip out my set of accomplishments and, BAM!" She pointed her parasol at Jacques as it extended and opened up. "Promoted to better things". Her big companion simply grunted in response. "It's a wonder I keep talking to you when I know you can't respond. Oh well" she stated casually as she closed the umbrella and tapped the ground with the tip of it. "You're dismissed".

"Hrrrrrgh" Jacques slowly sunk into the floor and dissolved into nothingness. Now that she had a good drink, it was time for her to get going. After grabbing her phone and turning the music off, she grabbed a coat and walked into the kitchen.

Outside the large apartment complex, one of the windows into the alleyway opened up. Olivia stuck herself out for a moment before jumping over the fire escape. The cold wind brushed past her until it became like a cushion. She held her parasol over her head as she gently floated down into the alleyway below her. It's not like any of the peasants that lived in the floors below her were actively looking out their windows at this hour. If they were, they'd probably chalk it up to some adrenaline junkie who likes to get as much thrill as she possibly could. When she landed, she closed her umbrella and put it away. Right now wasn't the time to be thinking about being caught. Right now, she had a job to do. After making sure her coat was on tight, she strutted out of the alleyway and blended into the crowd. It was time to check on some of the family territory. She was thinking of getting a cup of coffee, so she headed in the direction of the coffee shop.
Alright, I've got my CS completed and done. If I need to change anything, let me know.
Description: Her raven hair is medium length as they go down to her shoulders, and her eyes are a sharp green. Her outfit is weird in that it doesn't really look like the usual mafia attire. Instead, she wears a knee length black hoop skirt with a sleeveless top, black stockings, heel boots, and elbow length gloves. She is almost always seen with her lacy parasol. Her outfit stands out a little, though, so she usually wears something more casual when she isn't doing a job.

Family: Addario

Rank: Capo

Name: Olivia Marino

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Aspect: Her left eye has a star mark around the pupil. When she gets upset, it begins to glow. The more it glows, the angrier she is. When it's glowing at maximum capacity, it begins to spin and gives her a boost in her wind magic. In this mode, she can fire off her wind magic at great strength with relative ease. The longer she stays in this form, the more her mind will deteriorate and the more her body will be scratched up by the sharp wind. If she stays like this for more than seven minutes, she runs the risk of severing the arteries of her heart and dying. When she exits this mode, her magic is completely drained and her mind is hazy and slow. Excluding whatever damage is done to her
body and/or mind during that mode, the after effects can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a full day to heal from.

Core(s): Element and Summon

Spells:

1) Summon Goon: She can summon humanoid golems dressed in pinstripe suits. These golems have super human strength, and stick around for about three minutes.

2) Summon Wolf: She can summon agitated grey wolfs. They will continue to attack whoever she finds threatening until after five minutes when they disappear.

3) Featherweight: Her body is made light enough to float in the air and be carried by wind currents. The effects last anywhere between one and five minutes depending on how much magic she uses on this spell.

4) Razor Wind: Wind is condensed into a sharp, thin stream and discharged from her hand. These crescent shaped shots hit with the force of a blade, and can be fired off consuming minimal magic. Doing it too many times in a row will hurt her palm, however.

Why: At one point, her entire family died from starvation. She joined the Mafia as a way to earn money and to take care of herself.

Personality and Quirks: Olivia is obsessed with appearing like royalty. She is also unusually happy about everything, even if the situation isn't appropriate. There are few things in this world that can really get under her skin. Despite her cheery personality, she says some very horrible things and lacks any sort of empathy. She is also seen eating a lot.

Short Bio: Born in the poverty ridden streets, Olivia did not have a lot of luxuries. She had maybe one doll that she dragged everywhere she went. As she got older, her family members began to die one by one by starvation. At one point, she was the only one left.
I'm interested. Sounds like fun. :O
It is late in the evening in small town Boldwin. The sky is painted a deep orange as the sun was setting, and the air was filled with the sounds of train horns. The last couple of trains were being brought back to the station for maintenance. As the sun continued to descend, the lights in lamps and on buildings began to flicker on to welcome the night...well, all but one building anyways.

The old theater, unlike the other buildings, had seen better days. The old plaster walls were cracked, and the doors looked like they were ready to fall off of the hinges. The inside wasn't much better with the consession counter covered in a thick blanket of dust and the brown carpet beginning to tear. Cobwebs decorated the various corners of the room and in what appeared to be a hole in the wall. This place looked like an artifact of the past.

"This was a terrible mistake" said a girl near the front of the room. She was standing next to a man in his mid forties. He took his top hat off and looked at the place with mild amusement.

"So it's a bit run down" he said nonchalantly. "It's nothing that a little paint and house keeping can't fix".

"But are you sure we can afford that?" The younger person looked very concerned.

"Of course we can, Vi" he patted her on the shoulder. "It's not just going to be me. We're all going to pitch in. If we can make this work, then we can keep doing what we love!" This made Vi smile.

"Alright. You can count on me, boss!"

"Splendid. Now, why don't you go backstage and settle in like everyone else?" He gave the girl a pat on the head".

"Okie dokie". Vi bolted off to get to the backstage area and see how the others were doing. She was sure that Jon and Marie were doing okay. They were much older than she was anyways. She was more curious to see how her brother was doing.
Here's my character

Name: Victoria (Vi) Snowden
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: Vi is the kind of excitable person who could find the most mundane things amazing. She loves to e helpful, but she is a bit naïve and gullible. It probably doesn't help that she's spent her entire life up to this point as a carnie.
Hobbies: When she isn't performing, she spends time with her pet dove Penn. She loves teaching it new tricks. She also owns a collection of discarded ticket stubs. Other than that, she doesn't really have a life outside of the circus.
Appearance: She has wavy red hair and freckles that dot her face. Her costume consists of a top hat, a long cape, a leotard, gloves, stockings, and jester shoes.
Role in Circus: Magician

Just a general idea. Vi may or may not change when the RP begins.
This is the story of a traveling carnival who have been traveling for over twenty years. Times are hard, and they could no longer afford their lifestyle. The Traveling Tent of Splendor made their last stop in a small, historic town with plans to disband. After finding an old and run down theater, their plans quickly changed.

I will update the synopsis to be more specific eventually. Here is the CS
