Interacting with: one true love Caleb McKinnon [@smarty0114]

Indiana was just about ready to punch in the face whoever was talking to her right now. She had made it ridiculously clear that she didn't want to be disturbed, so why was some random guy whispering in her ear? Yeah, the big ass bandage on her head wasn't exactly easily missed, but that didn't make it any more of their business. Clicking her tongue, she turned - only to meet the concerned gaze of Caleb. Fuck.

She had purposefully been avoiding him today for this exact reason - the last thing she wanted was for him to be worried about her. Her icy gaze held his for a second and, as if something clicked in her mind, her lips pulled up in a smile and she pulled herself up a little straighter. With one hand holding the off button on her phone to shut it down and cease its constant buzzing, she shifted in her seat slightly so that she was facing him.

"I'm just peachy keen, jelly bean." Her nose scrunched up as she said it, making it clear that she was not 100% serious. Indie's gaze left his for a second to properly take in the rest of the room; finding amusement at Jacob's face as he realised who was in his group, her eyes purposefully sliding past Oberon, to rest on Clyde who was stammering as per usual. If it were perhaps another day, she would have tried to re-introduce herself to him as she felt a particular liking towards him, but for now she left her conversation to Caleb and Caleb alone.

"How are we doing this science fair thing then?" She left her hand fall flat on the table, displaying her intent. "I want ours to be the most magnificent, catastrophic volcano that the world has ever seen." She shot her best friend a mischevious smirk, as he knew that anything she had to do with would most likely end in disaster. Part of Indiana was grateful for this project, as it would be a good excuse to keep her mind off last night. Maybe she could tell Caleb? No. That's not fair on him.

She took a moment to look, properly look, at the boy. She knew Caleb better than she knew herself, she reckoned. She had always preferred his shaggy hair and reserved good looks to his brother's flashy appearance, and his intense blue gaze was always there to comfort her. A week ago, she was have been scolding herself for even daring to think such things; but right now, she didn't give a shit.
@Mae I'm picturing in my mind Darya's realm to be very similiar to that of Eris' in that Sinbad movie. She would have a magical globe thing that basically shows her all that takes place in the world in which she would sprinkle her chaos and laughter wherever she sees fit. She'd probabaly rest on a bed of clouds, too, just for dramatic effect. The realm itself would be pretty small, but very difficult to enter.
@Sarcelle Renard@RedXCross thank you muchly, my brain isn't quite working at the moment xD
Not quite sure about what Valerie will do right now xD ~
Sorry dudes but this roleplay is a huge work in progress. I was on schedule for this being put up yesterday, but after a series of hospital visits, schoolwork and family drama, I'm afraid I'm going to have to postpone it for at least a week I ensure that this will be happening, just it may take a little longer than expected.

Seeing as people seem to have their CS's ready, then feel free to PM me them and I can start to accept characters. I also ask that you provide a link to a post you have made in a previous roleplay, or if you do not have one, write me a short paragraph describing to me how your character feels towards school.
@dabombjk this is totally up to @Mae, being the GM, and I'm most likely stepping a little out of line here but there are a few things in your CS that don't quite add up? :3 this is probably me just being an arrogant little shit picky, but here are a few suggestions;

Obviously a lot of work had been put into your CS and I think it's lovely, but it might possibly be best for you to re-read everything and adjust certain aspects of your character to fit this roleplay. Of course, though, as I've said a billion times, it's not really up to me so feel free to completely ignore this ;D

EDIT : Also 800th post woo

Location: Outskirts of the Gathering
Mentions: Rimguage, briefly @Mae
Mood: Undone

A dark cloud had seemed to pass over the young woman's usually fiery nature. Anything she said was empty and half-hearted, and her features seemed to be a carving of bleakness - delicate, yet lacking life. The only thing at the moment that was vaguely alive in her was the way in which she was hacking at some poor tree with her axe. Her forehead glistened with sweat and her hair had come undone long ago; it tumbled down in a tangled mess of blonde waves that she couldn't care less about. The look of concentration that graced her features is what kept most people away - most likely in fear of having a limb chopped off by the brutish weapon.

Her fellow scouts had long since abandoned their hopes of getting her to stop and were conversing a few hundred yards away, shooting her an occasional amused glance every once in a while. They had learned a long time ago that being worried about Valerie was useless in their part; whatever it was she was going through, this was how she dealt with it quickly and efficiently and without hesitation - like killing an elk. What they did not know, however, was how much she was hurting inside.

It was like a hole being burnt straight through her chest; agonising enough for her to wish for death, but not quite close enough to her heart to grant that wish. Heartbreak, she supposed, was meant to feel this way. But was this heartbreak? Were her feelings even important enough to cause this much pain? Maybe she had been poisoned. The thought caused the girl to snort to herself. Denial.

Only when she sensed the scouts behind her begin to shift did she stop swinging her weapon. Without even taking a second to admire the damage she had done, Valerie rejoined her brethren. The scouts had arrived at the Gathering a few hours earlier than the rest of the Wolfrahg clan, to ensure that there would be no danger in their way - much to the relief of Valerie. However, it was customary to regroup with the rest of their tribe as they arrived at the Gathering.

So, as a large group of familiar faces emerged over the crest of a hill, the couriers shouted in greeting and responded with wolf howls of their own. The sight caused Valerie to visibly lighten, her lips shaping an uncontrollable grin. "That's our girl." A rough clap on the back was replied with a shove to the shoulder and the faerie-like girl was surrounded by faces she had grown to cherish. Of course, her gaze automatically rested on his, but was soon forced away as she was lead away by a flock of chattering women.

"This'll be it - the year you'll find a suitable husband, Valerie." A raven-haired girl took her by the arm as they delved deeper into the growing crowd of clans. "Your bloodline may not be the most appropriate, but your looks make up for it." Valerie suppressed a shudder as the girl whose name she'd forgotten patted her arm reassuringly. She had no clue as to where they were going, and apparently neither did her companion. Oh well, now would be an ample time to socialise.

"Don't worry, hen. You'll find love soon. "

That was her cue to slip away. Murmuring excuses about needing to relieve herself, Valerie slipped from her grasp and began weaving her way through the crowds of strangers. She ensured that her axe was well out of the way as countless folk barged into her, most not even noticing her due to her lacking in height. Her shortness also made it next to impossible to see what direction she was going. She may as well have been walking in circles for all that she knew. It was safe to say that now she was well and truly lost.
Oh my Gods it's beautiful I must've missed it xD thank you
ahh everyone's post headers are so pretty someone help working on a post now ~
@Willow Breeze you're all good - we're still open. I'm not necessarily accepting CS's at the moment, but feel free to post yours here. I'll be sure to notify you when the official OOC goes up
