So you'll have to talk to Fabine back at camp."

Destin sighs, stopping fighting. He looks at her sadly. "Fabine is a crazy lunatic who just has his own agenda for everything..." He kicks at the ground. "I made Elauna take over for me, I made it all okay! And then you two had to come and barge into the Rabin camp! Seriously not okay..."

Vera nodded wordlessly, running over and hauling Destin out of the river. She pulled him away from Fabine and Kianna, holding onto his wrist firmly.

Destin whimpers and tugs at his arm. "Please Vera...I don't want to go back to the Broms. Fabine's going to kill me! You know that! I'm a traitor..." He looks down, tears in his eyes. "I just want to be happy, and you know i'll never be happy with the Broms!"

"You're going to be much worse than I am by the time I'm done." She snarls, standing defensively. "If you're as lucky as your brother you'll get to keep an arm!" She spat, remembering the boy she had mauled. Kianna's eyes were ablaze as she aimed to rile Fabine up. It'd make his fighting sloppy.

Reina laughs and hugs her back. "Okay, I'll do the same." She rises to collect the clothes that fit her and some water bottles, and any other essential supplies the two would need. She slipped them into a drawstring backpack and glanced around the room for anything else.

"The fuck are you saying about my brother?" Fabine demands angrily, glaring at her. He pulls his dagger out, bouncing a bit in the waves. He flicks the wet hair out of his eyes and lunges at her, aiming for her face which was above water.

Ptelea hums as she exits her room. She glances around for the boys before hurrying out of the house. She pulls her backpack over her back and tiptoes out the door. It was breakfast time, everyone would be eating, or so she would hope.

Kianna leaps into the river, hearing arrows wiz by. She pants heavily and snarls at Fabine. "J... Just let him go!" She says, growing tired. She couldn't let them take Destin back and she wasn't going to give up easily. She splashes forward after the Brom leader, blood running from her wounds.

Reina chews on her bottom lip as Ptelea asks her. It'd be better than this dump, no doubt... I should go. She'll need protecting. She's so small. "Um. Yes, I'll go. But we'll need to be quick about it so the boys don't catch us." She says, looking at Ptelea expectantly. "You'll need some clothes and some water bottles. Get what is most important to you, and put it in a backpack."

Fabine scowls. "Not happening." He smirks, seeing the blood stain the water. "Aww, is the poor little wolfie injured?" He mocks, before shoving Destin towards the Brom border. "Vera can you come grab him?" He smirks at Kianna. "I'll take care of the Rabin bitch."

Ptelea squeals happily and hugs her. "Thank you thank you!!" She hurries into her own room. "Okay, I'll be ready soon!" She begins grabbing all her important things. She grabs her favorite clothes, a few markers and pens, papers, and anything Ambrose had ever given her. She hums happily, so glad to be leaving this hellhole.

Kianna pushed herself forward, seeing Fabine and Destin begin to cross the river. She huffs and follows after, snarling as she moved. "He doesn't want to stay!" She snaps, moving towards Fabine.

Bold wants Kianna to attack Fabine a little bit, so :3c))

Reina nods. "Of course, Ptelea. You have to get away from here. But if you need me I'll be waiting." She says, holding the girl close. "You have to be careful. The world is a scary place, and this house is just apart of it."

Fabine groans, tugging the boy, trying to make him go faster. "Come on Destin, you're not that waterlogged!" He huffs, reaching for the bank on the Brom side of the river. He glances back and narrows his eyes, seeing Kianna getting closer.

Ptelea nods and hugs her back. "I'll be okay...I'll find Rosey and everything will be okay." He face brightens. "Do you want to come too? Rosey will love company and you can help me get dem out of the hospital!" She says, beaming hopefulyl at the older girl.

Kianna felt a second arrow hit her, and she snarled once more. She shook off the impact and narrowed her eyes. She's trying to waste my time, she thought to herself, glancing around for Fabine again. Before Vera could hit her again she changes her direction and heads for the river.

Reina nods, "Oh, I guess you have a point." She looks down at Ptelea before speaking again. "You really should leave... you should go talk to Dem and find out a plan. This place isn't for you."

Fabine stops at the river, setting Destin down, keeping a firm grip on his arm. "C'mon kid, don't fight me, you're going to get hurt."
"I'm not going back there!" Destin shouts, hoping someone was coming.
Fabine snorts and shoves him into the river before jumping in after him. He gets his footing and grabs Destin's shirt, pulling him across the river, grumbling about stupid kids.

Ptelea looks down. "I don't want to get in trouble.." She then nods. "Will you help me pack? I should go today..." She whispers, then begins crying again. "Promise you won't forget me??"

"Dem should be able to help, if he actually tried." Reina then tilts her head as Ptelea holds her mouth closed. "What do you mean, like you guys?" She looked slightly confused. She rubs Ptelea's back gently.

Ptelea shakes her head. "Orphans I guess..." She whispers, trying to cover her mistake. She didn't know how much Reina knew about their situation. She could never remember who knew what around her. The adults didn't care. No one but Reina talked to her. ambrose met one friend here, but they got transferred right before he left...

"Hmm..." Reina looks at her friend's wounds and sighs sadly. "You need to get away from here. You should go find Ambrose." She says softly. "You'd probably do better doing that than waiting around for one of them to hurt you worse than this. Any idea of where he went?" Reina presses her palm on Ptelea's back, trying to comfort her.

"I don't know where he is!" Ptelea cries, whimpering. "He ran away remember? Three years ago. He left us...' Tears well in her eyes again. "He said back to where Dem is, but further...he wanted to be with people like us..." She covers her mouth quickly, hoping Reina didn't ask any questions. Ambrose had said her shifting was a secret and people would hurt her if she told.

Xavier chuckles and gently ruffles his hair. "C'mon kid, you're going to like the people I live with." He gets back to his feet.

Kianna sees Vera and narrows her eyes, veering to the side as she sees her let the arrow fly. She couldn't get hit in the legs again. "Where's Destin?!" She snarls, fully prepared to maul Vera. She continued moving at full speed towards the Brom. She glanced to look for Fabine.

"It's the boys. They get away with everything around here." Reina says, a frown on her face. "Haven't you gone to see Dem? Why can't you stay with him?" She asks, wiping the girls tears and hair out of her face.

Ptelea sighs. "He's in the hospital...It's illegal for me to stay there...as much as I want to.." She looks sad. "Plus those suit guys will come find me again and bring me back. And the adults will hurt me again.." She kicks at the ground sadly. "I just want Rosey."
