Bumpity!
Now, I have an entire OP post typed up, but I'm just going to post a snippet of it to see it gets some attention, and if so, I'll post the rest.

It is now 2047, a mere 2 years after the initial outbreak of what has now been called the Serbian Sickle. As advancements have come in fighting and studying the disease, it has been found that the virus attacks nerve tissue in the brain. From what can be gathered from its beginning, the initial strains of the virus hit their intended target of disabling the area of a person’s brain that allowed them to use their diaphragm and the brain’s regulation of it, meaning the host could no longer breathe and, therefore, died. As more and more people were infected, the virus mutated and evolved, first evolving to not only attack the breathing part of the brain, but the parts of the brain that allowed use of extremities, or parts that allowed the brain to regulate the operation of organ’s such as the liver, which led to blood poisoning and other complications.

The final, and perhaps most frightening current mutation was that of reanimation. Once the body was brain dead, not always fully dead, the virus could commandeer the control of nerve tissues, making dead bodies spasm and the likes, and then would soon reanimate the entire host, destroying memories and most instincts other than to attack and survive. The virus thrives simply to spread and infect, it appears.

Reanimates can be of any shape and condition. Since many, many cases of the virus involved attacking many different parts of the brain, many reanimates suffer from loss of any number of functions, such as seeing, hearing, use of the jaw, or even loss of both legs. Every case is different, leading to any large numbers of different and varied reanimates with different enhancements or disabilities.

It is unknown if those killed by the earlier strains of the disease can be reinfected by the new strains and reanimated. If so, it would mean the possibility of a large surge reanimates in perfect condition to combat current survivors and regulated government forces.

Machines have been developed to manually breathe for subjects that have been attacked by the Serbian Sickle, but they cannot protect against further attack of brain use, should the virus decide to keep attacking once the function of the diaphragm has been disabled.

The virus is also airborne, meaning that only cities with ArtAmos, or Artificial Atmospheres, have survived the disease. Major cities have remained, or new ones formed, around ArtAmos, with few being let out, and next to none being let in, as to risk the entry of the virus, which has happened to irresponsible ArtAmos in the past.
Bump!
The front door looks pretty clean. Nice, rich colored wood, shiny brass doorknob. Weird neighborhood, but nothing too bad. You open the door.

Instead of being greeted by a nice, bright lit office, before you is pitch darkness. Welp, you knew it was going to be weird shit, but before you can even turn to go outside, the door shuts. Shit. Now you're really stuck in darkness. Snap! A light clicks on in front of you. Directly in the middle of the room sit a pedestal. Atop the pedestal sit two pills, a clear, translucent one, and one filled with many neon colors. A voice emanates from the darkness around you as you step toward the pedestal, catching you off guard.

"You have two choices. The clear pill, clean and sterile. You can continue to live you life as it is, bland and boring, lifeless, like the pill. See-through and monotonous. Or...you choose the other pill. Vibrant, happy, filled with life. That is how life is when you role play with Firecracker. Exciting, hiding something even more exciting within.

"Now, your choice. If you want to return to your normal, boring life, choose the clear pill. Or, spice up your life, roleplay with Firecracker, unveil the truth, take the fun pill."

If you took the fun pill, welcome. Welcome to me.

Just a bit about myself, my name's Cordell, and I've been roleplaying for what feels like forever, but it's really been about 3 years. I really enjoy roleplaying, and it's gotten me interested in doing my own solo writing, poetry and song writing, but the last two haven't really started yet lol. I enjoy any music really, but rap music is my mainstay and absolute favorite, as some of you could have already indicated by my avatar picture. I'm a very hardcore gamer, and enjoy playing a variety of games, but recently, I've picked up This War of Mine and Team Fortess 2.

I enjoy a High Casual - Medium Advanced type of writing, and only play male roles. With Christmas Break coming up soon, I will have about 2 weeks of pretty free time to play and write, so It should go good. When I get back to school, though, that's a different story. Homework and such will come up that very possibly will inhibit my ability to reply, so if you don't mind going a day or two without a reply, we should be fine, although I will try my very best to reply as quickly as possible

On the topic of replies, I don't play no games. I will do my best to give you at the very least 2 paragraphs, but you should give what you expect in return. If you're giving me nothing by 3 liners, then you'll probably get as much back. Please, get at least 2 good paragraphs in.

Now! On to my pairings. Other than these, sci-fi and post-apocalyptic RP's will always hold my highest esteem, but I'm open to pretty much any ideas you have, although fantasy and 'slice of life/romance' tend not to be my thing. Now romance and love in an apocalyptic/dystopian setting? A bit more my style. Most of my 1x1 RP's involve violence and language, while mature content and other things of that sort are optional if you are really against it. Really, I enjoy building my worlds a bit before I enjoy them, so I'm sorry if the pairings list is bare, I prefer private messages or replies on this thread if you're interested.

+Kidnapper*/Hostage (Stockholm Syndrome is optional.)
+Male*/Female Survivor (Apocalyptic)
+Criminal/ Bounty Hunter
+Space Ship Crewmates survive alien boarding

Now if you're interested, please don't hesitate to put a reply on the thread or send me a PM! Thank you for reading!!!!
Sent you a pm :)
based god i knew you would come rescue me
Maybe he's saving the world in a way we could never understand.
LEVI PLZ NO
I WANTED SO MUCH OUT OF THIS I CANT
PLEASE BB

Edit: For real, though, Levi, the post could really use for some separating lines at certain points, I can really see how it could get confusing at some points because of unclear transitions, like from the Crawler scene to Ryker's morning.
Trust me Aeon, the Collab shouuulld be over with the next post, hopefully. I don't know what Levi's gonna do yet. Sent her a reply today, she hasn't responded yet.
She says thank you :D
