Physical AppearanceLore stands around 6'1" and weighs in about 200 lbs. He is athletically built, but on the more slender side. Lore's fur appears black but really it is a very dark brown. When looking closely or under a bright light, one can see panther like markings, which are slightly darker in color compared to rest of his fur. Other than that Lore doesn't have any other shade of color marked on his fur.
Fur length varies, it is layered in a way that it evens out on it's own, but you can tell the longer strands from the shorter strands. He has a bit of mane on the back of his head, but not by much. If he doesn't tame it in the morning, it would usually curl up into a tangled mess.
As for his eyes, they are an intense shade of golden yellow. And with his dark fur, they almost appear to be glowing. And the way his eyes are shaped, Lore always appears to be in a foul mood. When really he is seventy percent of the time is actually feeling quite content.
Noticeable FeaturesScars. Lore is covered nearly head to toe with scars. Some are from minor wounds. While others make people wonder how could someone survive from such an injury. Lore has a couple of small scars on his face. Which are caused from him barely dodging sharp edged weapons. Same goes for his forearms. Which are defense wounds from blocks oncoming attacks. The worst of the scarring was not caused by humans. While out collecting firewood for his master's house Lore was attacked by a Frost Troll. Which was provoked by the two men who
accompanied Lore in order to prevent him from
wondering off.
Lore remembers that day as if it had only happened yesterday. Lore mainly recalls how the troll moved. It was eerie. Like it was possessed, it swayed where it stood. It was almost expressionless. Eyes glassed over. Half of it's face looked as though it had been melted away by some form of acid. Blood dripping from it's claws. Having had killed the two men already. The horrifying part that way neither of them were given a chance to scream. Lore was too frightened to move. When suddenly the beast emerged from it's trance. His true colors came forth.
The beast charged. Lore being in a frozen state couldn't bring himself to react probably. The Frost Troll didn't hesitate to bring it's claws upon him. Repeatedly slashing at his flesh. Lore remembers blacking out from the shock. When Lore finally opened his eyes the beast was gone. Scorch marks, marked the surrounding trees and the surrounding area. The wounds he received should have killed him. But he was too stubborn and clung onto what life forced he had left. Luckily, a few hours later a family of Nords were on their way to Solitude. They all assumed he was a corpse. Upon taking a closer inspection Lore was able to mutter one word to get their attention. Scaring the delights out of them. But thankfully they were good people. They treated his wounds the best they could on the spot, before loading him up into their wagon. Lore was brought to Solitude for further treatment.
It took a full three months for him to recover. Most of his left side is nothing but scar tissue. Mainly his torso, back and left leg. But luckily Lore isn't limited to movement despite the severity of the scars. And also he body didn't receive any other form of damage. Once in a while though his left leg will stiffen up, but only just so. When this happens he walks around with a limb until the stiffness goes away.
PersonalityDespite his fearsome appearance, Lore's demeanor is quite laid back. People tend to label him upon first glance and often times choose to keep their distance as long as it is possible. And upon hearing about his past one would think he would have a crueler personality. He does have a few minor flaws just like everyone else. Such has getting temperamental when pushed in the right direction. Sometimes too stubborn for his own good. And like most males he has desires. Either it has to do with their goals, dreams or women. When he realizes that he is being selfish, Lore is usually good about backing off/giving up.
Lore's patience tolerance level should earn him some form of respect. Most people would throw their hands up out of frustration after a mere few minutes. Lore doesn't mind standing around waiting for someone to show up. Even if they are running two hours late. Children can poke, climb, and pry at him without so much of a reaction coming from him. This also depends on his current mood, and how the day has been going for him. Everyone has their limits to what they can handle. Some can hold it together better than others.
Lastly, Lore's negative side. Overly, honest. He will say things out of the blue. Often times in an insulting short of way. He likes to pester people on purpose in order to get their attention. Especially, when they are intentionally trying to ignore him. Lore is also very guarded. Too many bad experiences leads to him refusing to get close to someone. Even though this is the case he will still try to mingle with others when loneliness sets in or he has really no other choice. And he often thinks this is where his blunt honest side comes into play. As a way to help rid of unwanted company. Instinctively, Lore is quite protective, mainly towards those who obviously can't defend themselves. Like children, most women and men who too frail to fight back. Certain passions he is also highly protective of since he only has very little to claim as his own to begin with. This would become a problem if he ever falls in love with someone. He admits that he might walk in circles around the one he loves, snarling at anyone who makes an attempt to approach them. But he isn't definite if it really would happen.
Intelligence LevelLore considers himself somewhere around
average when it comes to knowledge. He is able to read some written text, something he has picked up on from observing. As for writing and understanding complex math he is at a lost. Lore is teachable. And he likes to learn when the opportunity arises. And yet certain things he is slow to grasp.
Magic CapablitiesRunning through Lore's veins is an unstable source of magic. Some say that he has enough magical powers to fuel five mages, but not a big enough outlet to harness it all at once. Meaning he has no control over what his magic can do once it is released. Lore is a danger to himself and others if he so chooses to use his powers. So for safety reasons, Lore refuses to use magic. Though keeping it stored for too long might actually do more harm than good. Especially, when there is a troublesome situation and magic seems to be the only solution.
Lore has a natural talent for lightning based magic. Almost as if it is apart of him more than something that can be taught. Lightning magic can be quite temperamental. Adding in someone who has no control over his own powers makes the lightning all the more dangerous. As for the other elemental magics Lore can't seem to get them to work for him. Almost as his body rejects them on purpose.
Weapon SkillsIf it is a man made weapon forget it. Lore is as clumsy as a child when handling a foreign object. Lore sees himself as naturally formed weapon. He has claws, teeth and enough strength to twist someone's head completely around if he so chooses to do so. Which he has. All in all Lore prefers getting up close and personal with his opponents. He is at a disadvantage when it comes to long range attacks. Those who had seen him fight say he remains them of a wild animal that has gone completely mental soon as it is released from it's cage. Which is true.
When his life is threatened to a certain point his mind and body goes on survival mode. Lore becomes a monstrous beast. All his thinking capabilities ceases. While his body goes on a terrorizing killing spree. When he is in this state nothing can trigger out of it. Best one can do is wait till he tires himself out or restrain him somehow.
Because of this unforgiving state he goes in, Lore tends to avoid high intense fighting situations. But it isn't always easy. So, he does the best he can to isolate himself from others. In fear of one day harming them.
