Mycha lay in bed and stared at the ceiling as her roommate snored. It had been a long night after Tyler had left. She had to leave the bar more than once and there had been a lot of ass grabbing from frat guys. She could have handled it looks her dad taught her to, but she valued her job too much. Her alarm went off at seven and she shut it off quickly so she didn't wake the beast. They had gotten in a huge fight last night because apparently Mycha had made too much noise coming in the past few nights.
Rolling her eyes she jumped out of bed, brushed her teeth, put her hair in a messy bun, and dressed in a hoodie and sweats that she put over some short workout shorts. Picking up socks and ruining shoes, she left the dorm room.
Mycha stooped and put on her shoes then went outside to stretch. Once she was done she pulled an arm band with her iPod and ear buds out of her hoodie pocket and put them in and cranked up some 80's rock. She ran five miles around that town before she cooled down until she reached the school gym. There weren't many people there because it was the weekend and still early. She waved and nodded to the guy at the front desk. "Hey Duke." She said before making her way to her locker. She quickly pulled off the sweats and hoodie so she was in her shorts and a sports bra, wrapped her wrists, then went back out. She did some more stretches, then worked on the weight machine, pull up bar, leg machine and punching bag. She hid the fact that she was pretty well built very well. She wasn't super tiny because of muscle and a moderately defined six pack, but she preferred muscular and toned over super skinny and weak.
She worked out for two more hours then got dressed again and returned to her dorm room where she showered and packed a duffle bag with boxing gloves black exercise shorts and her signature lime green sports bra. She put other necessities in her bag, like her mouth guard, as she mixed up a protein shake and drank it as she packed a lunch and dinner. She had to drive and hour and a half home to meet her dad.
She loaded her stuff on her lemon of a car and drove off.
Mycha arrived at an old warehouse turned gym/MMA boxing arena and parked beside her dad's '69 camaro.
"Hey, baby girl." He said as she got out and grabbed her stuff. "Hey dad" she said smiling and giving him a hug.
"You ready to kick some ass?" He asked, draping his arm over her shoulder as they walked in together. "Please, when am I never NOT ready to kick some punk bitch ass?!" She replied.
"Good point, haha" he laughed " let's get you signed in. " he said, directing her to the counter. Mycha have them the info needed and grabbed her number (basically a really lose looking cut off top that fit over her bra). "Locker room?" Her dad asked looking at her. "Locker room." She nodded.
There were about 36 other women there and about the same number of men, all for the purpose of fighting one another. She could feel the adrenaline pumping already and she was jazzed. She went in and changed, then came back out and started warm ups.
Oh no!
Mycha kind of giggled. "You know, it's kind of crazy that we are all here." She said popping up onto the counter. "Everyone seems to have changed so much since highschool, but not even that feels like it was that long ago. But then again ever since my dad passed away everything seems to have sped up a lot." She took another bite of chocolate and almonds. Was she really so desperate for companionship that she was reducing herself to small talk? "So, tell me about yourself Macey. How is life on your side of the fence?"
I miss this RP. :(
What happened to our RP? :(
Zephyr was disappointed when she saw Tiffany get up and leave. So much for that effort. Effort, yeah, that's what that was. She stood and went to her room, grabbed her leather jacket and then left the mansion to walk around for a bit. It didn't really quiet things down much, but the bigger space at least meant that things could filter out more and they weren't quite as loud as they were in the house.

She observed some people jogging laps around the house, I should pick up running again. As she continued her walk she saw a brother sister duo. She knew they were older, as was their friend, so she wasn't sure how she felt about them, nor did she really know them all that well. She had heard stories, she had read thoughts, but she still didn't know much about them.

She walked a bit more then sat on a stone bench that was probably about 100 yards from the duo and friend. She tried to remember their names. Christopher was the brother she believed, Aria.. no Arina was the sister, then there was... Pachid? Yeah, that was it. She smiled a little. At least she could get names down pretty well. She sat Indian style on the bench, she didn't have anything to do since she wasn't in classes or one of the X-men so she had spent the past couple weeks just chilling, trying to get a handle on her powers, to no avail. She decided to try shutting it off again, maybe this time it would work.

Closing her eyes again and sitting up straight, she breathed deeply and exhaled through her mouth. "Breathe Zeph. Just breath. Focus on shutting everything out. You are the only one around. Your's is the only mind speaking." she breathed and continued her mantra in her head.
Zephyr tried to ignore comments the twins made. Bitch they had said. Maybe they were right, but she didn't feel like fighting. In fact, in the past few weeks she still hadn't really felt like she was welcome. It was more than likely that she just hadn't made much of an effort to assimilate. She watched the twins leave and finished her toast and juice before standing up and cleaning up the kitchen and dishes she and the boy's had made, wanting to do something, anything to keep busy. She could sense someone new enter the house, and wander, then come towards the kitchen. A blonde young man had entered but it wasn't long before Tyler and Taylor came in and ushered him off. She could tell that they were suspicious of him, but she couldn't read anything about him that they should be suspicious of.

Running out of things to do and feeling it was time to be done with her antisocial behavior for the day, Zeph left the kitchen for the cafeteria. She wasn't really friends with any one there yet other than some of the teachers. She waved at Hank then found an empty table to sit at. Sitting there she tried to focus on particular thoughts. "I can't believe that girl did that to Tyler. She should know better." Searching thoughts she was able to piece together what had happened through memories and she stifled a giggle. "What's up with Storm? She seems off." others seemed to be worried about Ororo and the school. Zeph wasn't sure if she should investigate that or not... no, she should try to give Ororo her privacy.

Zeph closed her eyes now, trying to see if she could shut it off. Focus. Focus. Focus. Damn. she said slamming a palm on the table in frustration and opening her eyes. That didn't work/. She looked around nervously as she noticed that some of the younger kids stared at her. She kind of felt like a fox in a hen house in this school. There were plenty of older students like her, but that didn't make it any less weird to be here. Zeph pulled her hair over one shoulder and sighed What is that chicks problem? she heard someone think. Lots of things. she thought to herself. Noticing Tiffany she smiled and waved. She had to be friendly to someone.
Paige stood quickly and helped lift the rock. "Look who it is." She said when they could see the visitors. She waited, wondering if the Devils trap would catch any one.
Oh it's fine :) As long as you eventually post!
Zephyr lay in bed and pupulled her pillow over her head. She had been fortunate enough to get a single room but that didn't help much with the noise as people started to wake up. She moaned as the chatter started up full throttle. Throwing the pillow across the room she sat up and shoved her hair out of her face. Her blue eyes shone on the light she peeked through her blinds and she got out of her bed. She stretched side to side, touched her toes, then bent over backwards and grabbed her ankles before standing straight again; her thin, muscular frame always needed a morning stretch after a mostly sleepless night, she tended to tense up as she "slept" because of everyone's dreams.

Walking over to her closet that had a lot of variety in it. She grabbed a blue plaid, short sleeve button down then grabbed her jeans off the floor and a black tank - top from her dresser. Slipping out of her boy - short style pj bottoms and put on her jeans she then finished getting dressed. She brushed her hair then her teeth then she put on her shoes and walked out of her room. She put a hand to her temple as she felt a headache coming on already. Zephyr tried to ignore the other students and waved with a slight smile at Storm and Logan then went into the kitchen.

There were two young men in there when she entered and she tried to block them out. She grabbed a bag of bread, pulled out a couple pieces and popped them in the toaster. She stood there, hoping to avoid conversation, but jumped when the toaster popped. "Damn it." She wished she could read inanimate objects... scratch that, no she didn't. She grabbed the toast, buttered it, grabbed some oj and sat on the counter to eat.
