"I probably would. I'm a Camaro fan. My dad use to race this '69 Camaro Zip with a whopping 400hp. He fully restored it to it's original specs, which doesn't do a whole lot against modern competition, but it lit the street on fire in Classic series meets."
Paige watched in stunned horror at the charade, feeling numb and helpless as people ran in a panic. She hadn't felt this way since that night freshman year when she was attacked. She had felt so alone, and she was so glad to find that her dad had been there the whole time watching over her. But daddy wasn't here, was he? She found her feet and her tongue loosened as she ran towards Connor. "Here," She said "Let me help you." She helped shoulder some of the weight of the other man. She tried to turn deaf ears to the screams of terror, her heart bled for those people, understanding what they were feeling. She looked around, hoping to find all the hunters.... "Where's Rand?" She said loud enough to be heard over the chaos.
"I'm more of a fan of pure American muscle cars, not so much carts, haha." She made another order of drinks as she conversed with Tyler. "My dad used to race on the drag strip."
"haha, yeah." Mycha replied, filling another order. "I'm more of an MMA girl. Same basic principle. 5 for a few seconds in the ring? I'm in for that shit!" Mycha grabbed a bottle of water and took a sip. "I have never seen the appeal to vehicles except for street races. " She shrugged putting the bottle down.
"
"She's in!" Vin shouted. "You're free to ignore him at any time." She said. "I can't this weekend because I need the hours, and I think I should be an observer the first time, haha. But any other time, you just say the word and I will ditch these guys." She said jabbing a thumb towards Vin.
"Unfortunately, I work weekends and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights." She said, a little disappointed. "You name a date and we'll give it to her." Vin chimed in. "Really? Why do you always have to talk?!" Mycha said throwing her towel at him.
"Not hungry, necessarily." She said with a bit if a giggle as she conducted her own search. She found almonds, now she needed chocolate. "Just a snacky craving is all. And I know! Isn't this place great?! And I agree, hopefully we can get everyone together to do a dinner, or else this has the potential to be the worst reunion ever." Bingo. Chocolate. She didn't have the energy to melt the chocolate to cover the nuts so she would just eat some chocolate and pop a few almonds in here and there. That could work. "I fully enjoy the beach. I've been needing to get out of Philly for a while now."
Vin nods his head, "Props man. Especially if she says yes." Vin winked then walked away. "Sorry about that." She said pulling back her bangs. "Vin and Axel kind of treat me like their sister... which is kind of weird because Vin is in his 30 ' s and Axel is in his 40's. Haha"
"My name's Mycha." She said smiling brightly. "And that sounds divine. Maybe we could do that sometime." Vin came over and stood in front of Tyler. "You aren't trying to hit up my shorty are you?" He asked, placing a protective arm over her shoulders. "He's joking." She said, amused.
Mycha was not annoyed by the physical contact of Pierce. She was foolish to believe that because he happened to even remember her that anything in that area had changed. Oh week, she thought shrugging her shoulders slightly. "Yeah, sounds good." She replied to his talking later bit. "OK Macey, let's go get you settled." She started walking towards the mansion, knowing Macey would follow. Odd that they seemed to have connected, they hadn't really been close in school. But she was willing to get over that.
She had a craving for chocolate covered almonds and wondered if there were any in the pantry... Or supplies to make them any way. "Hey, how well do you think the pantry here is stocked?" She asked Macey, trying to make small talk. Damn, it was a lot easier talking to old people. They had cool war stories. And grand baby stories. And poodle stories. She shock her head to try to clear it a little. She had gotten so lame! No wonder Oliver hadn't wanted to stick around.
