For teachers, Saturdays were supposed to be something to look forward too; the time to sleep in, be lazy, relax after a usually tiring week of being in a job that definitely deserved better pay. However, this wasn't the case for Fletcher. Always having been an early riser, no matter the time he went to bed the previous night, he always found himself waking up shortly after the time his alarm was supposed to be screaming at him. Though, on these days, he could be a bit more slow in getting up. There was even the attempt to let himself doze back off but the clock kept saying it was almost six in the morning and his eyes wouldn't stay closed. No matter how late he stayed up last night binge-watching Netflix and drinking more wine than one man should alone, he had woken up a little before six, and couldn't find it in himself to want to remain in bed, to try and stay in that wonderful place between sleep and wakefulness.

Not that Fletcher was bothered. Again, he had always been an early riser. Even in college, he rarely slept past nine, though there were those days he'd wake up, groggy and confused, at noon that had totally been worth it. Sometimes, he still had those, and they could be surprisingly refreshing. But not today. Instead, he slowly crawled his way out of bed with a yawn, giving a good stretch when he untangled his legs from the covers. Tuesday would mark his fourth week at Eden Gardens and he was really happy with the place so far. It was a nice apartment, and he couldn't complain about anything. Not that he really would, anyway, if he discovered something wrong unless it was that much of a bother. Even then, he'd try to deal with it first before complaining.

Many people, at this time of the morning, would settle down with a cup of coffee at this point and bring themselves to more awareness. But Fletcher wasn't like many people. He changed from his comfortable pajamas into gym clothes, just simple sweats and a t-shirt with his highlighter green tennis shoes. They had been a gift from David and honestly, the bright color had grown on him. With his keys, cell phone, and earbuds in tow, he bounded out the door with more pep than one person should be allowed at barely six-thirty. Shape Up was a place he found enjoyment; it was a well kept gym, with plenty of clean equipment and respectable trainers who gave passing tips when walking around. Fletcher liked their attitudes in there. It felt like a judgement free zone which, naturally, he could get behind with ease. He hadn't had an issue there but he had only had his membership for roughly two weeks now. Though with being an easy going guy, he probably wouldn't have any issues and if he did, it wouldn't bother him so much anyway.

Sweating near seven in the morning shouldn't feel so good. Cover me with kisses, baby, cover me with love, roll me in designer sheets- Blondie sung quietly in his ears, blending in with the sound of his pounding feet on the treadmill and the few others doing their own thing in the background, swirling together to make him feel relaxed and energized not only for this work out, but the upcoming day. It was easy to let himself get lost in his work out, to just pay attention to going, moving forward, to let the music and the sounds flow through his head. Exercising had always been something fun to Fletcher; the pushing through the pain, the breaking a barrier and achieving a goal, the keeping his body fit - it made him feel good, bouncy, ready for anything. He couldn't quite grasp people who didn't actively enjoy it but he wasn't going to put them down for it, either. Free will did exist after all.

Almost an hour of various music that did not mesh well, and hitting up a couple other machines that got his muscles burning, he decided to head back. He did have a few papers to grade, but tomorrow was Sunday, and there was always the free time that day brought tomorrow. He hoped he left the papers in his car. If not, he wasn't sure where he had put them, in all honesty. The coffee table, maybe? Or maybe even in his bedroom, on his dresser. It wouldn't be the first time. Either way, he needed to pick up his clutter, straighten up a few things, actually put away those clean dishes he had been telling himself to do for the past few days. Maybe he needed to dedicate his time to that today. Cleaning a little. It'd be productive, that was for sure. He mused all this as he made his way back to his apartment, seeing signs of life from other residents which surprised him. Most were college students and he wouldn't had expected to see some up and about at this time, but alas, some were. He kindly greeted the ones he passed before disappearing into his new home. He needed a good scrub before he settled down for some coffee.

The water pressure at this place was amazing. It was always strong and the hot water lasted a fair amount of time. That always resulted in Fletcher lingering under the spray, letting the water beat into his back and giving a soft sigh as it did so. He needed a hot tub with jets and nothing less, that was for sure. After a few more minutes of being selfish and just savouring, he got out to put on his outfit for the day. Nothing extremely nice, of course. He wasn't planning on heading out, maybe to the grocery store later after he peeked in his fridge, so he had no one to impress. Not like he had anyone at his school to impress either. He got along fairly well with most of the others teacher and the kids could really give less craps about what he wore. Just if he was there and attentive.

As he bent over the sink brushing his teeth, he heard a familiar voice, but that didn't mean he was any less startled. He jerked upright, accidentally swallowing his foamy mint-flavoured spit, and covering his mouth as he coughed. He heard all of what Clarence said, and tried to take a deep breath to reply, but Clarence kept speaking. What he said didn't help Fletcher; the man wanted to laugh but he was trying to not cough, too, so after some struggling, he managed a loud throat clearing and to get some water down his throat to help himself out. Which wasn't pleasant tasting at all. “Uh, sure,” he called, though he doubted Clarence was lingering and waiting for his response. He was just glad he had kept his little coughing fit quiet. That would have been embarrassing and he was sure he embarrassed himself enough in front of Clarence. Or he felt like it. He felt like his face got too hot sometimes, or he got too loud saying something in excitement. It didn't help with Aria usually being around. Precious thing, he was so taken with her. If he didn't have her in his class next year, he was going to be devastated. She was so smart and mature for her age, it honestly reminded him of himself as a kid. That and she was so very adorable, that all that combined was Fletcher's weakness.

He finished up in the bathroom after that little episode, putting on a pair of jeans and a v-neck long-sleeved sweater that was a slate gray color. He wasn't trying to look nicer than he intended earlier, no way, this was just the first thing he grabbed out of his closet. He slipped on a pair of gray socks because like a dork, he wanted to match those two things, and left his damp hair to just flop over his forehead. He never bothered with it anyway, a simple run through with his fingers and it was pushed back and somewhat made an effort to stay. He was relieved he hadn't had the forethought to start a pot of coffee while he was in the shower or else he'd feel kind of stupid wasting it in favour of going over to Clarence’s for some company. While he wasn't the most social person in the world, he wanted to get to know his fellow residents better, and he felt rude to deny an invitation like that when he wasn't planning on going anywhere to begin with. Nonetheless, Clarence seemed like a good guy, and he wanted to get to know him better… he was handsome too, so that helped, but Fletcher tried his best to not pay that fact too much attention. The single dad thing didn't help anything at all but Fletcher was strong.

After walking through his apartment a few times to find his phone - he had carelessly tossed it onto his bed and didn't see it until the third time he went looking - he made sure to firmly close his door when he stepped out. He felt bad since Clarence had been pretty helpful to him since he moved in and was nice enough to watch out for him, even help him find his keys - or phone or earbuds or even his shoe - since he made enough noise in a rush trying to find the seemingly lost items himself. He had already apologized and thanked him about a thousand times which he was sure was growing annoying but he wasn't sure what else he could say besides sorry and thank you. He stepped in front of Clarence’s door and here, he hesitated. Does he knock and wait? Or knock and go in? Yep, you're going to overthink this. He invited you so… knock and go in. That's good. No way he'd be upset. That'd be weird. Fletch, shut up and go in. with a head shake at himself, he knocked and opened the door, of course finding it unlocked.

He heard soft music coming from the kitchen area, the smell of coffee lingering in the air, and went in that direction to see Clarence sitting at the island. He smiled as he walked over, standing beside the island rather than sitting down. “Hey, sorry about the door… but thanks for, again, looking out. I really suck at this responsible adult thing. Oh, and uh, thanks for the coffee date- or I mean, hang out, invite... thing. Could use the company. Especially if you’re playing Whitney Houston.” he tried to resist the urge to let his eyes linger on Clarence when, suddenly, he looked around, as if looking for something, then disappointment clouded his face. “Oh, just remembered you don't have Aria on the weekends… come Monday, I demand a play date with her.” he said with a bigger smile and while he was slightly joking, he did want to see Aria something fierce. Fletcher got easily attached to things and people but especially kids that were sweeties.

Soooooo. How is everyone's life going? I know school started for some of us, how is that? Mine starts at the end of this month. I'm actually excited. Weird? Maybe. But a set schedule is just what I need to keep up with all this beautiful and totally worth it crap I got myself in to on this website.
perverts all of u

So, I will be getting a post up by the end of this week! Lil Xander will plop in and observe all this great planning... very... soon. hopefully by the end of this week doesn't turn into the end of next week ahahahahaha
Me and Lancelot are one person it seems 'cause same with basically all of that.

But just to repeat: I did finish relations! So everyone can go check it out, and if you don't like something, or wanna yell at me for being a complete idiot and getting something wrong, just shoot me a PM. I'm totally up for being yelled at, it's cool, promise.

I'll be working on an intro post this week :3
Woot, lack of replying again. Once school gets started at the end of this month, and I'm on a set schedule, I will be much better at being active. A set schedule will assist in managing all my daily things better.

If no one else wants to step up, I'll totally snag the GM spot if need be. I've never been in that position before, but for this RP and to keep these characters alive, I'll totally do it. I don't want these characters, nor this RP, to die, and for us to not be able to flesh the characters out either. I'm okay with a small group too, since I'm sure we lost interest as a result of all this.

If y'all will have me, I am here.
Tonight for me is now! Like Lancelot, I've been bad at not doing shit too. Yay for not being productive! not really it's horrible 10/10 do not recommend don't follow our lead kids we are horrible human beings pure trash yep here's this guy, finally!
