Backstory: March Harrington was born and raised in the illustrious Garden District. Despite being from a wealthy and prestigious family and a comfortable home, March was rebellious; always seeking adventure, excitement, and danger. Well, she found it. At the age of thirteen, she was constantly sneaking off to the different districts looking for mischief and entertainment. She befriended a young boy by the name Hatter, a member of the Gutter District. She follows him home to the dangerous district where she hopes to join his gang, the Rats. She quickly realizes that she’s made a devastating mistake by entering the Gutter District at all. She is attacked and kidnapped by members of the Die Glucklich, who use her as a guinea pig to test out new enhancements. She is imprisoned for weeks by the gang while she “recovers” from her surgeries; she is later broken out by Hatter who helps her get home. Upon returning home, her parents are disgusted by her upgrades, calling her a “commoner” and a “disappointment”. March leaves her home and her cushy lifestyle in the Garden District behind her and begins her new life on the road and assumes the name “Bunnitas Rex”. Using her enhancements and naturally occurring skills, she protects the innocent from the warring gangs and other big baddies, like the ones responsible for dismantling her life.
