I had an account long ago but the name besets my memory.
Bio
Level headed mischief maker. Not a fan of happy stories, happy endings are different, but who needs an ending if the adventure may go on. I am a male, 18 years old, and have not to much to do right this moment and am looking for long time writing/drawing buds.
-Interested in drawn fantasy. Art skills not needed if you want to do something like that, message me.
-Dark fantasy is my jam killing orc families or deciding to kill a group member for wounds that are severe are situations I enjoy.
-Complexity and mystery are fun elements that solder my mind together, dealing with human emotions and creating a vibrant scenario is key for me.

Story: You all grasp your bearings onto the horrifying scene, a limping man in the distance broken and wrecked cars sprawled around. Someone spots a figure in a window. The man is weary of strangers. Some choose to approach some choose to look around. A plane passes above with one turbine out and smoking.
LET IT BE KNOWN:
Objectives can be fairly small. Your descriptions of character movement at some times can very from long sentences on rummaging through desk to moving a chair and sitting.
Don't be a dick.
Be as descriptive as you can on things that matter, not the smell of the room to are left which we will never enter or see again.
How to write:

-For thoughts.

As I always do I will keep this short and let the story tell itself. The rules will be posted when we begin writing but there are some tips in here somewhere.
Remember also this is not a super happy story and bad things will happen!!!
"The greater land, a kingdom of many. A land where all races dwarf, human, orc, elves, and alike live in harmony. It is a land been like this sense the time of Gana the lord of life. cast our souls to this plane. No man has broken the peace, no monster has shaken us. We will not let these foul creatures defile that! We shall overcome, we will endure, we will drive them back to the plains of Authurion. I call upon all. Fight these beings, fight them and let our army protect us from anything that tries to halt our progress. We built towers, we built homes, we built walls, we built families! Will you let them take that so easily?! Will you let them scorch our towns and kill our children? I call upon all. Fight! Fight! To your last breath for your kingdom! To your last breath for your home! To your last breath for Harmony!"
The Kings call echoed throughout the land. Not a single person missed the call, though not all came to his aid, many joined the ranks of his army. The greater land army gathered so many people in the first months. But by one year nearly half his men had dwindled. The dragons Had been to fierce an enemy for the normal soldiers taking them on. By one year and a half the greater land had been reduced to half its size. All had been lost in the minds of many. But the King did not faulter. He gathered the most renowned mages, weapon-smiths, armorers, and trainers from the land. He gave them a the task of creating magical items for any young soldier who enlisted and having the trainers teach them to use them. He believed that these would turn the tide of the war.
You are among the first to join the ranks of the kings army. Your characters will without a doubt be heroes, but it is your job to make them so, And don't expect it to be easy. I hope you enjoy.

He could have gone to college but he didn't have the money. Maybe he would if not for having tragically lost his parents to a car accident when he was 5(I know cliche, sue me.). Most of his friends went on to college, leaving him on his own for the most part. In times of need he reaches out to his previous Foster parents who he still calls frequently. He recently moved to [different city], in search of a job. He is without luck though as every office he applies for has turned him down. This repetitive failure has wore his mental ability to the lowest point he's ever encountered. Upon hearing this his Foster parents decided he should come back for a while. Because of his financial situation he sold his car and decided to take the bus.... You know what happens.
