'ello. 'tis I, Frequency, a transplant originally from the Iwaku forum. As a happily married but socially inept weirdo who spends most of her time indoors (I'm pretty much a human cat), I find that I have a little time to spare. And as the title states, I'm looking for something dark, dramatic, and "adult", so to speak. And while I'm not fond of your PG fade-to-blacks, I'm also not looking for an outright smutfest. Yes, plot is important (the most important aspect, really, alongside character development). Anyhow, rest assured that I have plenty of writing experience and consider myself a good, descriptive writer who always aims to please.

HOW I ROLEPLAY + PARTNER REQUIREMENTS:

I generally sit comfortably somewhere between "high casual" and "advanced" in terms of writing level. While I used to spend weeks world-building, that's not quite what I'm looking for this time. Right now I want to write somewhere between two and four paragraphs per post, perhaps longer depending on circumstance.

Sorry, kids, but I have to ask that you be above 18 to write with me. Over 21? Even better. I'm just about old enough to enjoy Jeopardy marathons and wandering around in a houserobe with a mug of black coffee in hand, so there you go. I also request that all characters be at least 18, even if we happen to write something set in a high school. I'm just not comfortable roleplaying with minors (both IRL and IC), especially not with the themes I tend to enjoy. I will play lead characters of any sex, and my usual pairing preference is MxF. I'll do MxM or FxF if the plot is too good to pass up, or if I really like you/your writing style (so no, MxM and FxF are not off the table - you can ask about it). My males are usually strong and dominant, and my females willful and spirited. Yes, I do enjoy the "strong female protagonist" trope.

I will only roleplay in PMs on this site. While I get that pretty much everyone has a Discord nowadays, I don't because I'm stubborn. So take that how you will. My usual modus operandi involves one PM for IC posts, and one for OOC discussion. I will usually use real-person faceclaims for my characters (not anime; I'm not a fan of anime). If we're doing something set in a fantastical universe, I may use a realistic painting or something similar.

My mood tends to see-saw, so depending on that or my life schedule, I may or may not deliver consistent posts. I try my best to, but sometimes it's just not happening. So please be patient with me, and I'll be patient with you. Just because I'm online doesn't mean I'm in the right situation or mindset to post; sometimes I'm just online to read over old posts or browse the forum. Demanding I deliver a post every five minutes is the best sure way to end our partnership.
