When the station went up in smoke the two ZEPHYRs that were still at the station turned and followed the rest of the fleet back home. Satisfied that the station would meet it's end soon enough. Back on board the science vessel Litharians were passively scanning other bits and pieces of the foreign tech when a few alarms started to go off, the alien was awake. As if in unison, every scientist turned to look at the Cel through the thick glass that made up it's container. Several rushed over to see the specimen move and learn as it came too. But the biggest change came when a pair of scientist began fiddling with a nearby console causing a few lights inside the containment cell to switch on. This was all followed by a disebmodied voice to come throw a speaker system, "Hello, can you understand us?"
"I just did didn't I?" The Master of Eyes said over the INTCOM unit. His voice was far to distorted to truly tell, but it seemed to have a hint of joy in it, as though he enjoyed toying with the two. Virathus kept his guard up. Rennac may be done trying to kill him, but that doesn't mean he is simply willing to forgive him. He retained his fighting stance and angry eyes. "Oh don't mind him, I'm sure he's already forgiven you. After all he didn't kill you during your fight and he isn't right now, so I think you're in the clear for now." The Master of Eyes continued.
Virathus brought his arms back up to try and step back from Rennac to finally get some real breathing room when he lashed out again, though he had time to react, it wasn't enough. He yanked his head back, but it sent his left shoulder forward and the blow struck under his arm. He heard a crack as the armored wolf's glove met his armored arm. Wincing he took a few steps back, gaining distance and readying himself for a continued fight. It was at this point that the INTCOM terminal came back to life, "That's enough, I don't need you two killing each other. Rennac, you were busy talking about how I kidnapped you and I told you how stupid the notion was." It wasn't exactly paraphrasing, but it was hopefully enough to convince the Wolkar that Xilanthis was the mysterious voice.
Virathus took his chance at some breathing room to collect himself, but when Rennac returned on the offensive he sidestepped as best he could, using the jetpack's charge time to his advantage. Dodging the blow and as it impacted with the bulkhead he took his chance to grab his fist, bring it up over his head, and slam into the Wolkar's back.
Virathus was having none of the Wolkar's tricks. He withdrew attack and used it to divert the Wolkar's blade over his shoulder into the bulkhead. The knee he took by bringing his own knee up, it hurt, but was severyly reduced from the original damage. Now the Wolf-boy was right on top of him with his back to a wall, using said wall to bashed into Rennac with his shoulder and body in an attempt to get some distance and put his to the ground.
Virathus did in fact go on the defensive blocking the Wolkar's wild attacks. Without a real target they were child's play to defend against, but they blade coming at him was targeted and had a reason behind it. Though it took effort to block, he slammed his body against the wall to dodge the blow and using his forearm he tried to slam the blade down towards the ground, for a rebuttal his other arm came to try and backhand the Wolkar to get some distance again. Fighting an armed man without any weapons wouldn't be the fairest of fights. He need to arm himself somehow.
The voice over the INTCOM ramained quiet for a time. Virathus on the other hand wasn't ready to deal with a cocky ass wolf-boy thinking he could just execute him due to a call. He was already strapped in and flying the ship. So he sent it into a sharp nose dive while ducking his head to avoid any possible shot. The force caused anything in the chassis that wasn't properly secured to the floor to shoot up to the ceiling causing a series of thumps and whumps to come from behind him, one of those should have been Rennac. Straightening out the ship just as violently as he had sent it down, he quickly activated the auto-pilot and unstrapped himself, swiftly getting out of his seat he grabbed the bars at on the walls that were on both sides of the cockpit's entryway and using his weight we flung his body forward feet first looking to double kick the Wolkar and hopefully cause enough shock to disarm him in one move.
With the Wolkar out and a safe distance away, the crews of the science vessel and the HAMMERs loaded up with only a few men staying behind to set the core on a destructive path. The science vessel took off first being the larger and more valuable of the two. Orbiting the station with the Wolkar the majority waited for the final HAMMER to join them for the return trip. On the station a few scientists and soldiers cut a few lines and switched off a few of the reactor's coolant systems, making it start to go critical. Though they would have a good hour before it finally blew, so the men still on board slowly made their way to the HAMMER and into orbit. One of the HAMMERs gave the order to engage warp drives to finally get moving back towards home. Though two of the scouts were left behind to make sure the station was destroyed when the reactor blew. Cloaking to make sure that if more alien ships came they wouldn't be seen right away. Litharian Galactic Date 5371-248, Unknown Station. Litharian fleet enters warp space on a course for Litharian space and eventually Planet Yithrid, The Xilithrix Research Facility to better process the data, weapons, and creature they were bringing back. Estimated time of arrival, Litharian Galactic Date 5371-251.
Who ever was on the other end of the call remained quiet as Rennac rambled about sales and Gods, but when he finished talking. "Very cute Rennac, but I can see you." The voice said, clearly distorted by an assortment of manipulations. "And while I found your attempts to keep me out entertaining, I'm going to ask you to stop. It's starting to bother me." Virathus was idly listening while he was flying the ship, making sure to note the stranger's words. "Now be a dear and fetch my agent for me." The voice finished, staying silent uptil he had the man he wanted to talk to. Virathus listened to the words and assuming Rennac glanced over at him when he was mentioned, gestured for the Wolkar to come back to the cockpit.
Litharian Galactic Date 5371-248, Unknown Station. The Litharians made their final preparations over a span of the next few days making sure that anything of theirs that wasn't a part of the reactor core's structure was taken back into the science vessel. Including the Modular Command Structure, taking it back apart and storing it away safely. With the scientific being handled by scientists, several soldiers took to gathering up the bodies of their fallen, collecting them for a proper burial once they arrived home. Only after the scientists scanned the bodies for any sort of biological weapon that would have been brewing inside the corpses. With that the ships in orbit began breaking off from patrol and started returning towards the station to pick up surviving soldiers and scientists. At this time the Litharians made contact with the Wolkar warning them that their time on the station was running short.
