"Write drunk, edit sober," is a viable strategy until you realize anything you write just divulges into offbeat ramblings.

Welcome to the Guild!

I love seeing anti-hero/villainous characters. They're always so interesting, and you can never quite predict what they're gonna do, haha. There's a bunch of action oriented RPs, so I know you'll find something you like.
If you ever wanna RP, ask a question, or just chat, feel free to PM me!

See you around!

A book, you say? How interesting! If I may, what is it about?

They arrived at their destination soon enough. An armada of guards surrounded them, eyes filled with unmistakable distrust. They were armed and ready, their guns poised to strike at any sign of danger. Years before, Kit would've been cautious. Intimidated, even. But years of entrapment, forced along by similarly armed guards and the constant reminder of a futile escape wrapped around his chest, desensitized any fear from being around the guards. Kit moved inbetween the group, positioning himself so that he remained as close as he could to his companions. He met each guard's gaze evenly, the glint in his eyes not quite rage, but dangerous nonetheless.

A small shiver crawled up Kit's spine as the boss revealed their cover. Supernaturals for sale. It was just a story, not that they were really selling them, but that didn't mean there weren't others who had been sold. The government had its secrets. This ragtag team was only one of them. With little love of supernaturals, it wouldn't have surprised Kit if there truly was an underground slave market.

"Come on ya louts. We gotta move."

Kit lowered his gaze, but the air around him, once seemingly calm on the copter, remained cold and dark. He moved on with little fight, but the message he emanated remained clear: hurt them and die.

THE MESSAGE TREE
Situated in the middle of the woods is the Message Tree, a towering oak with a mismatched puzzle of a building situated amongst its boughs. With its shabby red roof and confusing architecture, it's a miracle it's managed to survive storm and time. It is here that letters and packages gets sent or delivered. Always on time, no matter it be rain or shine. Such is the way of the Tree, and the many couriers who dwell in it.

I hope this is alright for a location.

Koa hesitated, her gaze lingering on the device. The hunt was important, yes, and skipping it would grant very little chance of another invitation back next year. But still...what was that thing? Curiosity chewed at the corners of her mind, tempting to her to reach over and take a peek. It was a slab of letter with tattooed leaves inbetween. So why did she feel so compelled to open it? "I suppose a look can't hurt," she mumbled begrudgingly. She raised a finger sternly at Kwelek. "A quick look."

A bolt of surprise shook Koa as Kwelek darted away, the journal in his hands. She opened her mouth indignantly before movement caught her eye. The elders. A group were headed their way, though their attention was held by their closed conversation. She shot a nervous look in the direction Kwelek darted before looking back at the group. Something told her to tell them. To confess about the leather bundle. But as they neared, the thoughts disappeared. No...Kwelek was right. Telling them would cause too much trouble, especially for such an important event. It doesn't matter, she chided herself. Besides, this thing can't be that important, can it?

With a small shake of her head, Koa darted after the young boy. The back of the tent cast shade from the rising sun and hid them from the elders' gaze. She kept pace easily enough, though she cast the other around her uneasy looks. Why was she so paranoid? Surely this thing wasn't that important. "Alright, talk." She motioned towards the journal before crossing her arms. "What is this thing?"
