The moment Arabella openly expressed her opinion of what sort woman she thought Harper was, Harper couldn't help but smirk at the opinion. It was pretty spot on she had to admit, as normally she wouldn't care about having someone else patch her up but tonight she was tired from all the fighting and decided if someone else was going to be in the near vicinity then she may as well as her associates always nagged her to do, and actually seek help when it was available to her. She had practically lost count of the amount of times people who knew her well, especially the Harvelle family telling her she needs to stop being so stubborn when it came to accepting aid. She could almost hear them now, "how many times do we have to tell you Harper? We didn't save your ass all those years ago just for you to become a stubborn fool and be independent to an absolute fault". "Gotta say you're pretty damn observant to get that from me. Though I don't exactly make it a habit to hide it. As you must know, being a woman in this job means you gotta fight extra hard to be respected and taken seriously. I guess that mindset leaked into other traits such as rarely asking for help" she admitted to the woman. "Also I'm just too tired to do it myself" she gave a half chuckle and smirk.

Harper let Bella sit on the bed and get everything out that she needed to help her out. She knew this was going to be rough, but surely she had gone through worse injuries that she had to fix herself? She couldn't think of anything right in this moment, but she was still sure of it. As Bella gave her the warning, she made herself relax but also brace for the pain that was about to be inflicted on her as she felt the glass move out of her skin. Just as she predicted, she found herself gritting her teeth tightly and hissing as the feel and sound of the glass scraping against her skin and muscles in her side as it got removed. "fuck!" she said through her gritted teeth but breathed in relief when she felt the last of the glass be removed. Bella may have been as careful as possible and was being light handed which she appreciated but it seemed that no matter how lightly the other woman worked, Harper would still be feeling that removal. She braced herself once more as Bella began to do the stitches which although did sting, didn't hurt nearly as much as the removal process did.

"nice work" she complemented her when she was done, letting her head to the bathroom to clean up. As she was done, she stood up and chucked the bloodied cloths and such away in the nearby trashcan before looking up again as Bella came back into the main part of the room. Giving her a nod, "Yeah I'm still good for patching you up. It's the least I can do after you helped me out" she replied to her, shifting over once more onto the bed and just as Bella did just moments ago, she got a new needle and sterilized it, got everything else that she would need out and placed in an order that she would need them. "I'm not gonna lie, this ain't gonna be fun but it's gotta be better than having that wood shard in your side" she warned her as she waited for the woman to sit back down in a position that would be good to work with and comfortable for her.
"Okay, I'll go find her" Kay replied to Bane as he relayed concerns about Serena being injured. She couldn't fully understand even now how this attack happened without any of John's wards going off. It had to be utterly impossible, especially as he strengthened them not that long ago. Shaking her concerns off, she headed to the hatch and entered the mill house once more, heading down the corridor and finding Chas with Serena.

Chas kept checking her over for any other injuries, but didn't like that she stated her legs were numb. Not a good discovery. "They're safe." he simply said as Kay found them both. "You two okay? Bane said you were injured Serena" she greeted them, "She is. Cut throat but not life threatening, legs numb as well" he explained. With a simple nod, Kay entered the room and helped Chas get Serena to a bed to lay down.

Fia watched her dad just unwrap his bandages and saw for herself that she had somehow managed to heal not just herself, but also him. "Huh....seems I'm stronger than I thought" she mused out loud. She had to say, she was rather impressed with herself, but still surprised. Seems being both mage and phoenix has it uses after all.
NATALIA

Nat did wonder what had gotten Cason so wrapped into his own thoughts, but she didn't want to pry, so instead she chose to ask the question she did. Yet he still found himself unable to give her a full answer, choosing to remain silent for the most part and just exit her car, something she couldn't help but rise her eyebrow at briefly, until she realised he was walking round to the front of the car. Cracking open the door, she stepped out of her side, put her keys in her jacket pocket and stepped round to the front to stand beside him. She wanted to ask him what had gotten him so quiet all of a sudden as she noted him shoving his hands in his pockets, but he began talking before she could do so.

As he confirmed he would stay so she wasn't alone, she unknowingly let out a sigh of relief softly, her smile reaching her eyes as she lightly chuckled at his remarks about Dean. The smile never left her lips or her eyes as she let him brush a strand of hair behind her ear, a strand she hadn't really paid any mind to having fallen in front of her face until he had brushed it out of the way. Despite that very smile not leaving her face there was clearly the question of 'and what's that stupid thing?' in her eyes yet she didn't outwardly ask it, curious to what his next move could be.

Then it dawned on her as his face got closer to hers and she felt his lips cover her own in a deep kiss. She was surprised he so willingly kissed her after she had previously taken him by surprise by pecking his cheek or lips earlier at the carnival. The whole night was such a fantastical blur to her she couldn't remember where she kissed him, but she knew she had and she did not regret it once. Closing her eyes, she returned the kiss finally letting herself drop her walls and accept that despite everything of this man's ego, she was so incredibly drawn to him that nothing would tear her away from him from now on.

She always thought Mika was crazy for believing in romance or relationships, but maybe from now on she could actually understand it. Or at least attempt to. Though it did still amuse her heart that most people would have a guardian angel or a light to help them in the darkness and here she was having a guardian demon and a darkness in the dark guiding her through.

Eventually she forced herself to slowly pull away and reopen her eyes to look up at him once more. "I wouldn't say that's stupid" she clarified to him with a soft chuckle, her fingers walking up his jacket's front before she intertwined the collar in her fingers. "I'm really glad you're choosing to stay with me" she told him once more before she leaned back up and kissed him once more.

It was later in the night when Mika and Dean had arrived back that Natalia was still very much making the most of Cason's company in her room as her room's light was noticed by Mika from the outside......

THE NEXT MORNING

As morning came through, light desperately trying to break through the cheap curtains in the motel room, Natalia slowly stirred awake calmly. Whether it was down to the fact Cason was in the room all night or their activities, but she only had one mild nightmare in her sleep instead of the common influx of sweat inducing, panic filled ones. Her breathing slow and steady, she fluttered her eyes open as her vision began to focus she saw she was curled up into Cason's side but it was evident that he really didn't sleep all night, just as he always said- demons don't need to sleep and eat.

"Morning, you really did stay" she greeted sleepily, gazing up to his face as she readjusted her head to do so and became more aware she had her arm lazily draped over him.

MIKA

Mika was happily sleeping, for once finding she had in fact had the best sleep she had had in a short while, despite everything that had been going down around them. Yet it seemed Dean had other ideas his gentle nudging broke her from her sleep, waking her up. She grumbled in dislike at having to be awake once more and hearing Dean speak of 'the kids', knowing exactly who he was alluding to. "....fine" she sighed as she opened her eyes, turned round to look at him and sweep her hair off of him and into some kind of reasonable state until she could get a brush through it.

"You know most people say 'good morning, how'd you sleep?' in the morning" she teased sleepily, pushing herself into an upright position. "But you're probably right. When we got back last night I saw her light still on which I thought unusual for her, but she's not exactly been her usual self as of late so who knows" she explained, ending her sentence with a mere lazy shrug of her shoulders.

She didn't know how Dean would take that news, but now they had had a good sleep and a night just for themselves, she didn't see a reason to keep it from him any longer. She just really hoped Cason didn't use Nat last night. Like Dean, she didn't think for a minute that Cason would hurt Natalia, not after he supposedly kept her alive and going in that horrific place for years but she still couldn't help but worry about the girl. Natalia may not be a child anymore, but she was still the youngest in their group and that made Mika protective.

"So whose gonna go check on her? You or me?" she asked, looking at him, seeing a stray and rogue piece of his hair which she had to smooth back into place instantly. She also couldn't help but wonder out of the blue how Sam was getting on with bringing Annabeth back to them all. She mostly hoped that he was being a bit more successful than they were with Natalia.

SAM

With the morning's arrival Sam woke up, lifting his arm up and gently lowering it over his face, wishing there was just a bit more of the night to sleep through. He didn't want to be awake just yet but he also knew they couldn't exactly stay where they were for much longer. He glanced over and saw Annabeth was seemingly still asleep. Removing his arm from over his eyes once more, he couldn't help but dart his gaze over to his bag where the new vials of demon blood was hiding. The reality was setting in that it wasn't a dream but Ruby really had come and found him and brought him more of what he needed to stop Lilith before she could take Annabeth from him.
Fee watched on as the shadows finished the job. Satisfied that the false sun was dealt with, she gave back control to Kay once more. "Okay, hopefully they're all okay inside" she eventually replied after giving herself a few seconds to readjust once more to her surroundings and in her own body.

Fia sat up carefully so not to risk going lightheaded again. "Yeah...how you feeling? Shouldn't you be on bed rest?" She asked him, not realising initially that in her passed out state, she had somehow managed to heal not only herself, but also John.

Chas checked her neck and saw the state of it, gritting his teeth as he lightly hissed in response to what he saw. "Serena that could have been so much worse. Just put pressure on it okay?" He replied to her. "We'll get it dealt with asap" he added.
Fee waited for the opportune moment to strike and when she was given the go ahead, she out-stretched her arms and hands in front of her, aiming for the funnel created by Bane. "Ancestors, aid me in my attack today" she muttered as she channelled the strongest of her flames and attacked the orb. A blinding white and gold flame surrounded herself then travelled down her arms and viciously flew at the orb and I to the funnel. As it grew, it swelled into the orb and soon enough it exploded the orb.

Fia listened to her dad's explanation of how she made it to his room from the roof. "Yeah..yeah I can move." She confirmed as she sat up beside him. "There was this...orb or something up on the roof. Super bright. I went to inspect it and I guess it threw me back, or at least, the energy coming off of it did. Guess it knocked me out" she summarised not just for herself, but also for John.

Chas was prepared to capture whatever creature it was on the floor, but it seemed Serena beat him to it. When she called his name, he looked over at her and saw the line of blood. "Shit" he cursed under his breath, going over to her. "What the hell?" He gasped as he inspected her.
"I'll follow your lead Bane, just give me the opening and I'll put an end to this anarchy." Fee replied, waiting for the opening to rid the rooftop of the false sun orb. As far as she was concerned, if Kay trusted this group, and this group trusted Kay, then they all would be under her protection as well as Kay. Hurting Fia was her extra incentive to go on the attack also.

FIA clenched one hand and rubbed her eyes as she let her mind and sight refocus on what was happening and where she was. Looking up at John, it all fell into place. "Yeah...yeah I'm fine. H---how did I get here?" She replied to him and asked.

Chas listened to Serena, feeling relieved that she was okay. Glancing over at the man he just knocked out, it suddenly clicked into place. He may not have been in Seattle himself, but he remembered the stories they all told him. It was then he saw the creature that came out of the man's ear. "Help me find a jar or something to capture that thing" he asked of Serena.
Kay watched as Bane started to do what was needed, still finding some of his fascinating and new. She nodded in understanding of what he was asking for her even though she didn't even know Fee had such a flame. "I don't know what that is but okay" she said, then almost in a blink of an eye Fee had taken over Kay's body, "it's okay Kay, I know what he's talking about" Fee replied. "Though I have to warn you Bane, it has been a millennia since I have tapped into the holy flame. I don't know how well this will go" she warned Bane as she watched on through her golden eyes waiting for the opening she needed.

With their wounds healing, and becoming healed in a short amount of time, shorter than even Kay could accomplish, Fia woke up with a gasp of air and panting. Her eyes darted all around her as she refocused her mind and sight before realising she was in her dad's arms. "Dad?" She sought for confirmation.

Chas instantly went over to Serena's side, barely noticing what came out of the man's ear. Placing his hands on her shoulders, looking at her in the eyes to check she was okay. "You okay??" He asked.
Kay listened to Bane's explanation and how they were going to rid the roof of this orb. When he first said they were gonna blow it up, her initial internal reaction was 'are you mad?!' But before she reacted out loud, she listened to the rest of the plan and it suddenly made sense. "Got it, let's get this done. This place is the closest thing I've had to calling home for a long time, I'm not putting it at risk" she told him.

In John's arms, he'd feel she was very much okay and breathing steadily. She had a couple of little scrapes on her face and arms from when she got blasted back but they were already visibly healing up, thanks to her phoenix bloodline.

Chas found Serena and who was pinning her against the wall. "Get off of her!" He demanded, running up to the man and giving him his best right hook he could muster into the man's jaw. "You okay Serena?" He asked, not keeping his eyes off the man.
The moment Kay got to the attic hatch with Fia's unconscious body with Bane's help, he listened to Bane's request as he helped pull Fia down the ladder carefully. "Of course!" He replied to Bane as he made sure Fia was securely in his arms. He knew he had two choices in this moment, put her down in the hallway against a wall or take her to either Drake or John so they could watch over her. He chose John. As much as John couldn't move, he knew John could still protect her more with spells he knew than Drake could in his weakened state.

"Kay?" Chas called up, "yeah?" She called back down, "give it he'll" he told her with a small smirk, a smirk that Kay mirrored and nodded. "You can count on it" she replied and with that he was gone from sight taking Fia to John's room.

Kay turned back to the false sun orb, "what's the plan Bane? How we gonna make a force strong enough to get rid of this thing?" She asked him, cracking her neck from side to side as she prepared herself mentally for taking on such a for. She knew Fee would help if it came to it, she didn't know many beings much stronger than Fee and in this moment, she was thankful for that.

Back downstairs, Chas made it to John's room and brought Fia in, laying her beside her father. "She's alright, just fainted.. I think but Kay and Bane are on the roof where they found her, some false sun orb....thing is up there" Chas explained in as short amount of words as possible. "I gotta get to Serena, just make sure she wakes up and stays in here? Ya know...dad things" he commented to his best friend.

Before John could finish any kind of response, Chas was gone again and running to Serena's room.
Josh wasted no time in rushing to Drake's side when the boy passed out. Checking him over to make sure he didn't need to put him into the recovery position and being happy that Drake was okay, he sat Drake up slightly and slowly and waited with him until he could come back round. Yet something in him was telling him he needed to check on Serena as well.

"Like what?" Kay asked, wondering what any of them could have that was just as powerful as this fraudulent sun orb. "Fia?! Kay?!" She heard a familiar call up from the ladder to the roof. "Chas! Fia is out cold, I need your help bringing her inside!" Kay called back which made Chas step into view but remain on the ladder. "Hand her over! I'll bring her down!" Chas called out, quickly needing to shield his eyes from the orb. "You and Bane can handle the lightbeam!" He added.

Kay agreed it was the best course of action, "bane help me get Fia to Chas" she asked of him.
