Yeeep, I'm here.
How do small bird Pokemon like Farfetch'd carry their trainers?

I don't really get it.
Faust stiffened at Fateen's words. He didn't expect Cipher to keep their word; that was a given. However, he didn't expect the betrayal to happen so soon. Clenching his fists, Faust told her, painfully restrained, "Thank you, for telling me this." And with that, Faust stormed out before he cut something in half. He surged with complete and utter anger, not only at Cipher, who hid behind the weak and used them as tools. He hated himself for believing that those people, of anyone else, would keep a promise even momentarily. The peon at guard saw Faust step out of the fortune teller's.
"So, what was your 'epiphany' abou--"
"Night Slash."
The guard staggered back as something sharp as an edge, covered by folds of darkness itself, cut a deep gash across his chest.
"I realized that I hate Cipher more than I thought I did."
Faust seemingly blinked forward, cleanly slashing the guard's throat and immediately moving down to dismember his arm. As the man fell to the dust ground, life immediately fading, Faust looked at his blade, a new crimson coat covering the already shiny metal underneath. Blood wasn't new to him. However, this time, killing that man was.... exhilarating. It felt pleasant to watch a pool of red spilling from the body. And, for the first time since before joining Cipher, Faust smiled. More so, he started chuckling, slowly growing into maniacal laughter. Suddenly, Faust stopped. He shouldn't kill people merely because hates them; it goes against his way as a swordsman. But, he couldn't help but to concede to himself that it was incredibly enjoyable.

Returning to his normal thoughts after breathing for a bit, he thought for a moment: Where would he go now? Considering he was covered in blood, the hotel wouldn't be one of the finer places to be when they discovered the body. "Where else could we go...." Faust said to himself in the darkness, as he wiped off his blade. Then, thinking back to Fateen's info, he figured that it would be best to go to Agate; it was high time to see his home again, or rather, whatever remained there. If Eagun was still alive, he'd liberate him. And even then.... Faust doubted that anyone would mind if he killed a few more of those Cipher members. Running forward and leaping up, Faust yelled out, unrestrained "Fly, Farfetch'd!" before landing on the duck's back.

He had no idea how that bird could hold up his weight as well as it did, but he had no complaints, and would have taken a hover bike if his Farfetch'd did. Grabbing onto the leek in its beak like a pair of handles, Faust and his friend flew off towards Agate Village.
Faust let out a deep breath before slowly opening his eyes as Fateen entered. The meditation calmed his nerves slightly, and prepared him for what he was about to say. He doubted he could really hide anything from this old lady, nor would he have bothered to in the first place. "Ma'am," Faust began quietly. "I overheard your plans. Against Cipher.... However, I'm not going to do anything about it." Faust shifted forward. "I plan to help you fight Cipher, but for now, I'm still technically your enemy." Pausing a moment to sigh slightly at how confusing that was, Faust continued, saying, "Agate Village is safe from Cipher, but only because I had joined them; it was a deal of sorts. Since you're against them, I will inevitably have to fight one of those you have recruited. If your group manages to protect the village, then I will certainly help you too."

Faust was sincerely hoping that they would be able to defeat Cipher. Every thing he did was so awful that he shut off his emotions to do them. For a moment he was silent, but then suddenly remembered how familiar the others were. "Oh, also.... Do you know if any of the others were from Agate, too? At least two of them sounded pretty familiar to me."

Wait, so.... You like mudkips?
Faust woke up the second time that night.

He kept having nightmares about the attacks before he left for Cipher, with people he knew being killed off as he watched, restrained by shadowy tendrils and rendered helpless. They were surprisingly vivid, despite him not being able to tell who exactly they were. The one he just woke from, however, deviated from the others drastically in the way that it wasn't a nightmare. He was still restrained, Faust saw himself dismembering someone; a sadistic, twisted clone of him, dressed in the Cipher uniform he despised. Watching as it turned to his parents, the ones who taught him swordsmanship, Faust felt something like outrage swell up inside him. Somehow breaking from his dark binds, Faust lashed out his sword at the shade, but was immediately countered. For some time, they seemed equally matched, but the shade had no signs of tiring. As they went to clash once more, a different phantom appeared and struck from behind, causing the doppleganger to dissipate.

At that point, he sat up suddenly in his bed, his Farfetch'd letting out a surprised quack and jumping away. In a way it was more of an epiphany. He couldn't defeat Cipher himself; the village important to him would still be in danger. Rather, if someone else -- or a group of people -- could push them back with him, then....
Faust rushed to change into his normal clothes, letting Farfetch'd grab his sword from him. "Thanks, bud." Faust said as he grabbed the sheath and it jumped to his head. He didn't have much time to waste, and it was reflected in his sharp eyes. As he hastily left the hotel, the peon on night duty looked to him. Before he could even start asking, Faust flat out said, "I had a weird dream so I'm going to the fortune teller's! Don't ask!" Despite the slight bags under his eyes, Faust's abnormally sharp gaze stopped the grunt immediately. Although, the guard probably just assumed he was really sleep-deprived or something, and gave it no other thought.

When he entered the building, Faust tried to figure out where Fateen had gone; he heard something sliding before, so he assumed that there was some kind of entrance hidden somewhere. Sitting down in silence, Faust took in the surroundings with his senses as he waited for her to return.
Faust felt a cold sweat as the mood of the room suddenly changed and shouts of contempt were heard inside. Blood pumping in his ears, he couldn't hear them speak anyone Tensing up, he wondered whether this would be the time to step in. But just as he was about to do so, everything suddenly calmed down after Fateen said something. Quietly sighing in relief, Faust thought to himself, "God bless that old lady." Leaning back away from the wall, he looked at the streets. Peons were coming out now. It was best he went to the hotel now, before he drew attention to the house. Turning to the direction of the hotel, he strode away from that place, ready to rest for the day.

When Faust checked into the hotel, he became much more aware of the glares people gave him when he pulled out his Cipher ID. Although he was used to the dirty looks before, listening to those other people just made him think about it more. Once he got to his room, Faust took a moment to take off his clothes before crashing into bed. In the darkness, he began to think about those people; could they really be a threat to Cipher? And why did some of those voices sound familiar? Even though those thoughts still lingered, Faust slowly drifted off to sleep.
HIDE THE DEATH LASER

I did nothing while you were gone. Nothing of importance, anyways. Importance to you.
From the darkness, Faust followed the three as they headed towards.... the fortune teller's? He thought he heard them say they had somewhere to stay the night, but Fateen's place wasn't necessarily fit for four. Carefully approaching, he paused when Cail called out to Fateen, not really hearing anything aside from "geezer" and "old hag". Faust got even more curious from this; how were they going to fit all those people in there? Moving in close, he overheard their conversation through the wall, but... it didn't really make sense to him. Cipher was looking for an old man? Why was that guy so important? Getting caught up in his investigation, Faust was about to move up to where the door was, but jumped back when he heard it open. For a while, he had to stand still against the wall until Cail moved out of there. Too intensely focused on timing his movements, he lost parts of the conversation.

As Cail passed, Faust slipped low behind him before turning his focus back to the talk in the building. As he listened, he heard a girl's voice, but it struck him odd how familiar it was. Even what she said made Faust think of someone he knew, but he couldn't recall who it was. The next person.... was a Cipher boss-leader's kid?! While Faust respected him for turning away from that kind of business, why the did he announce that he was literally blood-related to them in a room of people who despise Cipher? Shoulder pressed against the door, Faust got ready to barge in to help the kid if the situation called for it.
