Genji was greeted with silence from their Jonin, and then he was subject to a scent test from the cute Inuzuka girl's dog. She introduced herself as Haruka and before Genji could get another word out, Nagato Uzumaki slammed into the classroom with force. Of course Genji knew who he was, he was the very grandson of the famous hokage Naruto, it was great for the team and it gave Genji another rival to strive against for the future.

After Nagato arrived, their Sensei stood and introduced himself briefly before he led them out to a clearing several minutes away. He told them they would have to collect the bells as their next test. "Hurray a test," he said sarcastically as their Sensei vanished in a puff of smoke. Haruka mentioned going hungry at which Genji smiled "Not necessarily, I grabbed a few of my mother's energy bars she bakes. We could eat them if it comes to that as a last resort." Genji continued to smile as he stretched out his limbs, "But yea that's what he said this test was about, teamwork. I'm pretty good at Taijutsu and Kenjutsu myself. So In have no qualms about getting up close and personal."

Im gonna say two things about Genji,
1. He is going to be very sensitive about his hair color, to the point of arguing that it is light red and not pink.
2. He hates ninja sandals, cant and wont wear them, hence the boots

Genji had been up and about for quite a while at this point. He was fairly restless last night and after waking up for the third time he decided he had enough sleep and quietly got ready for the day. This included getting his gear together and preparing himself a nutritious breakfast of breakfast food bars that his mother had prepped up the day before. She liked to cook and this was one of her favorite snacks to make, they were small, portable and contained plenty of energy to get a person through the day. He snagged three of them as he maneuvered his way out the door and onto the streets of the village. It was about seven years ago that his family moved into the Village Hidden in the Leaves, it was a wonderful place to grow up to be honest and he had never felt more at home. His parents had been working themselves to death to pull their weight and help contribute to the village. It's what inspired Genji to enroll in the ninja academy, it's what still inspired him to this day.

The streets had started out empty as he ran from rooftop to rooftop, and as the sun slowly rose over the horizon, so too did the people rise from their sleep. He decided it was finally about time to start his life as a shinobi, more excited than he had really ever been he made his way to the academy where he was to meet with his team and his mentor. He wondered who they would be, he had hoped he would be teamed up with new people, people that he had never really gotten to know. Because Genji loved to meet new people and he wanted this all to be a blank slate, a fresh start, a brand new chapter to his life. He very excitably dove through the open window at the academy, and surprisingly landed quite silently. He saw a girl with bright red hair, accompanied by a ninja dog, she was clearly of the Inazuka clan. Then there was the older ninja with dark hair and the very trademark sullen Uchiha look. He wasted no time in introducing himself after arriving, "Heeeello to one half of our team, the name is Genji and Im ready to get training."
