taking a rather large gulp of his drink and with a large sigh said "It could mean virtually anything it doesn't even have to necessarily be this world, for all we know its trying to usher us to his, her. it's home and this could just be one seriously messed up warning." taking another huge gulp and slaming down his mug he continued, "after all what little knowledge of Yggie that we have is very limited in scope or even origin for that matter."

"yeash your family pays for my schooling and then tosses me to the army to be forgotten, some friends you are." he laughed mostly to himself before continuing. "Full title High Engineer of the 32nd, division Refined Electrical Automation for Combat use R.E.A.C for short. Your army decided to send me out due to several Plasma shifts being detected in the area. So relax no glory hogging here just to observe large scale shifts and save whoever I can. As for the cheering it was because some of the anomalies came after them in the end there." he pointed to a bit of wreckage staring a cool stare at the boy(Jarrod). "I can appreciate your combat skills for going in there and coming out alive, but please don't raise a protest every time someone else does something during your good deed it comes off as glory hounding."

With that he turned around and sent to small flickers of lightning to the drones forcing the current to the appropriate circuits, making the return to their holders folding neatly into two pillars near the end of the seat where they "docked". "Now if you don't mind I think we should be celebrating your victory and the good fortune that no one was seriously hurt after such a huge disaster.

"Ugh, strange readings in the west . . . .You're the only one with enough combat and engineering skill . . . Well it was you're invention in the first place that picked up the readings blah blah blah" Even from ways outside the town the dragon could be seen and Josh, for the first time in his life, cursed his skill with machinery. While far from refined he devised a device that can pick up micro plasma emissions from warp technology that the anomalies used. When it turned on scientists decided three things that probably should have been obvious first; Josh was a genius, second; there were a lot more anomalies warping in and out for the device to be particularly useful, and three; in times that many anomalies pop up in the same area someone should be sent out to investigate.

With the southern armies stretched thin enough as it was being a vast desert land that hid almost as many bandits as it did actual people, it was left up to Josh to investigate large scale anomalies outside of the southern front, after all being a part of the military is really one of the few downsides to being a military asset. Though he couldn't blame them for the lack of military support honestly if a group of armed southern Mamluk just went to another region the paperwork and red tape would be piled so high the damn dragon himself would probably be able to read it, but at the same time in moments like these he probably could use the fire power.

The town was worse for wear with anomalies running amok inside it, thankfully though someone had the foresight to get people out, However no one seemed to know how to defend themselves in the group which was still a huge problem. Josh sent 2 quick jolts and one massive stream of electricity threw his custom built motorcycle the jolts released his favorite toys from their saddles Arjuna and Rai unfolded and took off with a surprisingly quite thump thump thump of their blades. They circled widely around the crowd many terrified, not that Josh could blame them. To those who had never seen drones before they could be mistaken for anomalies and outside of larger cities many distrusted even simple machines. With the data for the "safezone" collected the machines got to work opening fire on the first anomaly that approached. Normal creatures would have turned to red mist the second the firing had started, anomalies were made of sturdier stuff but still no match for the heavy air support and wound up looking more like a cheese grater than advanced tech.

pulling up on the civilian a few moments later he called out "people of the west we send aid from the south . . . Errr well that sounded just a tad bit corny didn't it? Just remain calm and in the area and my two friends will handle most of the work I . . ." mid sentience yggdrasil bellowed out and faded away slowly taking the anomalies with it. ". . . . will handle the rest?" People swarmed around him quickly many to thank him but a few calling out that there were still some people in the town. "I will bring back what I can wait here just in case anomalies got left behind to clean up." He doubted there was anything that remained and if it did, whether or not it was but a husk of its former self none the less he slowly began his walk into town cautious to his surroundings.

Character Sheet:

Name: Josh Harroway

Age:32

Region:South

Personality: Cocky, likes to pick on others. Serious when it matters has cares deeply about his drones

Background: Josh Harroway had been a genius in his own right with lighting magic from a young age actually coming close to accidentally burning the house down trying to figure out how to direct currents into objects specifically, pieces of straw. After a while his father decided that rather then trying punish his son for his continued trouble causing, that he should take this hobby of his rather put it to better use. That day Karn Harroway went out and bought his son several electrical circuits for his son to practice on. This was not only the wisest streak of brilliance his father had ever had but was the joy Josh was searching for. Days were spent, many without sleep, figuring out how to manipulate the currents to do specific tasks until he was 13. At this point in his life he had discovered how to build machines even adults would have trouble constructing on their own. However it was not long before the government took notice of the young Josh's rapid advancement and pounced themselves offering something very few had even thought possible. Fully paid mentor-ship under some of the greatest lightning-mages and engineers they could offer. In return however many of Josh's abilities and technical skills would be sold exclusively to them. While the deal seemed almost too good to be true for the primarily self taught teenager, he still managed a nod and a handshake to seal the deal. Now josh's expertise lay in crafting drones for combat and recon, and his dream is to some day create a drones that can work seamlessly with magic.

Notable Skills or Abilities: Highly technologically inclined, Has two guard drones(Arjuna and Rai), skilled with lightning magics, carries virtually no personal firearms of his own.
