Nothing fancy here. All ya need to know is that I'm here to play my game and have a good time. 8)

I wouldn't think so. Universe cycles that drag other universes or Tier Fours into them are beyond even calling rare.

I usually end it before they can break the repetition by getting out. The variables start to get out of hand nearly instantly.
*Motions with my hands to the general area, implying that’s the sort of position we’re in now*
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

It's really too bad, there was a diplomatic way out with wins all around otherwise.

A fair assumption to make, without intimate knowledge from close observation and repeated cycles of a universe’s worth of experience to base it on.
*Straightens my shoulders and glances at each of you, one by one*
I did say I usually end it here. But given the way things have changed, your return here is not indicative of your end, this time. Things are going to have to play out differently.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

Mmmmmm okay, so you care about seeing them alive more than you fear their conquest attitude, right?

I weigh both halves of the equation equally, I’d say. Weighing one over the other leaves someone wronged forever.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

Seems like, as-is, you’re more safe with a handful of them around. The IA already exists, so a big reset won’t do much about that, and by restarting the timeline, you just end up creating more. Sorta self-defeating, isn’t it?

The IA is comprised of an idea that started here, and evolved without them. While it is true they have roots in ideas formulated amongst these folks, there are none left. Despite the myths that they were hidden and sprinkles amongst the population. The only ones that remain in that society are known.
*Folds my arms behind my back*
And to the second point, it would be self defeating if suppression of conquest was my only goal. But my goal isn’t to simply leave this universe dead for the safety of everyone. If they can grow to abandon the idea of manifest destiny, they can live amongst greater Existence peacefully, and even be a boon to it rather than harm it.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

Other than, you know, the killing part, I don’t exactly hate that.

I assumed you’d have a level of sensibility about this, given the folks you’re associated with. Yes, while taking life is generally a taboo and such, the universe requires absolute dormancy to start again.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

Why? What do you care?

Suppression of imperialism? You can call it a localized version of what Tier Five strives for, in a sense. The people here always have a desire to conquer. It’s practically coded into their DNA, and their ingenuity always leads to their discovery of broader Existence. Usually later than when they did this time, obviously.
*My feet touch the ground in front of you finally, after my slow descent finishes*
Then they want more. That’s not fair to anyone wherever they end up traveling to, so I force them to start over, and while I do try to nudge them in directions to change the way they end up, it’s never been enough.

I left that backwater planet the first chance I got. There’s not much left from my era, me included.

To each their own. Regardless, I have to say. Every time you eventually come back here, "Rythian", it is one of the last things to happen before it all ends. A reset is accelerated when there's no one left. I do kill you. Both of you.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

What’s all the talk about “recent selves”? Are you not the same person all the time?

You're old, like me. Have you not had the fortune of seeing your universe die and start again, complete with an eventual new you and all?
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

What does Data have to do with any of this?

Nothing, as far as intentions go. It's ancient history now, but when my most recent self received a signal from beyond the boundaries of the universe he was from- this one- it sent just about everything off course. As a scientist, he never meant that, of course. A confined, controlled work, suddenly exposed to the outside world. And now, instead of "Ridge" here as per usual, I have one person from either end of his family tree here instead. The world often contrives our circumstances, doesn't it?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

What’re the specs on this guy? Strengths, weaknesses, motives?

He doesn’t know. Not really. Ever since Data and his pals came along and broke the flow of things, I’ve held my cards close to my chest. The things any of you know me to be capable of, I assure you, you haven’t seen the half of it.
*Clasps my hands together*
But I hate talking about me, so let’s skip that part.
