*All of the metadata lines up with the experiment timeline, including variations of Purge01 itself according to viral trials*

*Takes the program fragments and tried to piece them together like a puzzle even in spite of missing pieces, in an attempt to assemble even just a fuzzy image of something useful from it*
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

*The only traces of the program itself left are program fragments and error stacks from destroyed viruses, and the logs seem to indicate that the patch rapidly destroyed viral code sequences and traces of foreign data introduced to the test subjects*

*Checks a change log and tries to see if the last time it was modified in the system lines up with the dates of the experiments themselves, or if it was notably more recent*
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

*The new records contain largely benign experiment results, including successful and failed viral strains, but the results that align with the date of the sudden shift in research priority expose another set of logs concerning a patch labeled Purge01*

*Reads more about “Purge01”*

No fear of restrictions.
*Starts trying to piece together potential passwords by matching the keystrokes to times when the restricted data was accessed*

I’ve got nothing but confidence.

Soon, I’ll have nothing but answers.

The truth comes out.

I never lied! You’ll see.
*Loads the computer up to the simulated version of the original*
Well, maybe you won’t see. But just wait for the results!
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

So you’ve got it copied, what else does that do?

To start, it’ll copy it a third time. So now I have a buffer copy in place to instantly just wipe away and start again in an instant if I break anything or otherwise set something off.
*Rubs the back of my head and chuckles*
Admittedly a lot of the bulk is just ergonomic. Nice for standing for the work.

No protest. Can’t wait to see what you can do with this.

I’m starting with your idea. And with that, I’m showing absolutely no mercy.
*Picks up the disc and tosses it flawlessly into an appropriate slot on my machine, next to a second, identical drive, then walks over to it as it flares to life*
