I realize it might be confusing if you've not read into it, but the d6 star wars system actually has a really good way of balancing force and non force powers
Still room in this? I'm willing to give it a shot.
Bridgett let out a low grunt as shrapnel from the tree peppered her back and sides, several larger pieces became lodged in her side, pinning her cloak to her. Breathing was becoming more and more difficult as they continued their rapid flight from the Ursa Major, which was closing rapidly on them. She knew she couldn't keep this up too much longer, when Abel's question snapped her out of her revelry, causing her to stumble and fall. Using Rakurai she was able to pull herself up along their path to get on a branch ahead of Abel a little ways.

Bridgett gasped for breath and her voice was strained as she spoke, "Pretty sure I've got some cracked ribs, and these splinters aren't helping. We need to find somewhere to hole up, hinder this things movement, hide from it if we can. Cave is the closest thing I can think of, care to make any other suggestions? It's got to be close, I'm about finished here."

Wincing, she began pulling out the larger splinters, counting on her tight clothing to staunch the bleeding at least a little while she waited for Abel to catch up.

Seems like Auriel, Emlyn, Robert, and Tai are all headed for the hill/mountain.I'd be inclined to say that Able, Bridget, Gren, and Kuhaku are all heading for the caves by the train tracks as well. Any disagreements?

if that's the case, then one team name is easy, TEAR, the other... not so much.
Bridget doesn't have an emblem yet, but that's mostly because I haven't thought of what it should look like.
Could always make it so it snuck up on us because we were focusing on the spiderwebs. or make it a king Taijutu

...very well. That will be quite a bit of editing, since Ursa Major aren't stealthy or anything, but it's fine.

was just stating a random baddie, feel free to pick something a little easier

Also, I really wish would have asked what kind of Grimm were in the basin.Cause now I'm wondering what the fuck a Wendigo is doing out in the middle of the forest.

We could edit it to be an Ursa Major, wouldn't really cause any issues
Bridgett was deep in thought so she barely registered what Abel had said about the grimm being able to sense movement in the webs.

What do these artifacts look like? Why were we given so little information about this exam? I know that we are supposed to be trained to deal with these kind of situations, but even this seems a little extreme for an entrance evaluation... No matter, I must push through.

Bridgett looked up and around her surroundings and realized she had lagged a little behind her new partner. She picked up her pace a little in order to catch up with him, "So, Abel, what did you mean by what you have to pro-" She stopped short as the thought she heard something off a little ways in the trees. Stupid, you lost focus, something may have snuck up on you. Can't afford that, not here. She stopped a moment to regain her focus and had just enough time to realize there was something big very close, but as she drew her weapon a large shape burst forth from the underbrush rammed into her.

With a sharp cry of pain Bridgett's flight was stopped short when she slammed into a tree, causing sticky sap to ooze out and dribble onto her cloak as she shook her head, trying to clear it for the situation. She looked up in time to see Abel turning at the sounds from behind him, but she saw he wouldn't be ready to defend himself from the sheer savagery of the attack in time. Bridgett flung the chain of Rakurai as the Ursa Major lunged at him, but her target was not the creature.

Abel heard the sharp claws splitting the air right next to him as the chain wrapped around his waist and yanked him off his feet and into the woods. The Ursa Major let out a vicious roar as it was temporarily deprived of its prey, then turned to glare at the pair in the the woods. "Sorry about that Abel, but I'm afraid its out of the frying pan and into the fire for us." she gestured at all the broken spiderwebs that her flight path had disrupted. "This is one situation where we really need to run." As she said this she quickly helped him back to his feet and took off running as the Ursa Major began to chase after them.
