Bridgett let out a low grunt as shrapnel from the tree peppered her back and sides, several larger pieces became lodged in her side, pinning her cloak to her. Breathing was becoming more and more difficult as they continued their rapid flight from the Ursa Major, which was closing rapidly on them. She knew she couldn't keep this up too much longer, when Abel's question snapped her out of her revelry, causing her to stumble and fall. Using Rakurai she was able to pull herself up along their path to get on a branch ahead of Abel a little ways.

Bridgett gasped for breath and her voice was strained as she spoke, "Pretty sure I've got some cracked ribs, and these splinters aren't helping. We need to find somewhere to hole up, hinder this things movement, hide from it if we can. Cave is the closest thing I can think of, care to make any other suggestions? It's got to be close, I'm about finished here."

Wincing, she began pulling out the larger splinters, counting on her tight clothing to staunch the bleeding at least a little while she waited for Abel to catch up.

Greyson smiled at her and nodded then said "well we need to find the relics so I say we go north where the instructor said we should go. honestly im just glad I have a partner now that's fun." Greyson said smiling as he started to walk northward to find their relics. Greyson was starting to like this girl, she seems exciting and fun just the way Greyson likes it! nobody boring or someone to slow him down since this girl could keep up and it seemed like while their semblance was different it did have a small comparison when thinking about how both Greyson and Pricilla are able to counter their enemies with their semblance although Greyson just paralyzes the creature when it attacks and she can go straight through it both their semblance seemed to be counter attack based so Greyson would need to think about that later when their done with this test "so you have any ideas where the relics or any of the other students are? were supposed to form partnerships that's for sure but if something big comes along I think we need more then just you and me to take it down...

Priscilla nodded at Greyson. "Alright! We should start walking to find what you said with the relics and what not. But stay close to me just incase a nasty little Grimm comes to attack us! I can protect us better when we are together, not apart from eachother, got it?" She smiled at her friend as she would start to walk towards the North part of the area, hopefully Greyson would be following her! "We march and march forward! Lets just not encounter a Grimm, and I don't know where any of those are. I saw a girl back there but she seemed to have gone away or something. I don't know yet. And yeah we are gonna need to find someone to help us if a big icky Grimm monster thing comes to attack us." She sighed turning to face Greyson as she walked and without looking to her front, she tripped over a rock falling on a small puddle of... Mud, face first ofcouse. "Aah!" Priscilla yelled as she began to wipe the mud away from her face, and trying to hide from Greyson, as slowly she opened her eyes looking around to find some water, the pink haired girl stood up and ran away, crying from embarrisment.

Sure thing" Grayson said smiling at her as he followed her watching her lead the March forward to the relics glad to have her a partner considering how carefree and hair she was and Greyson tried to tell her to turn around before she fell but obviously it happened to late and she fit a face full of mud seeing her try to hide it from him but greysons hopes to talk to her were dashed when she ran away crying "wait Priscilla!" Greyson said trying to chase her and stop her from going to far, with the amount of grim in the forest they couldn't be apart and Greyson couldn't let a cute girl like her cry from a trip into mud "Priscilla we can't stay apart in this place, we need to find those relics"

For a moment, it seemed to Abel as if Bridget's luck had run out. As the girl stumbled, he prepared to wheel around and attempt to hold off the Ursa Major, however lethal that plan. It didn't even register with him that he had just basically decided he would risk his life to protect someone he only just met

Thankfully, the scytheblade shooting past his torso to latch onto a branch a little ways ahead signaled that neither teen would be facing death just yet. Abel adjusted his direction a little to allow Bridget to soar smoothly past him and regain the distance she lost. “Sorry about the splinters! Wasn't thinking!” He barreled beneath the tree she was perched in, his breathing ragged and the Grimm hard on his heels. It appeared that, in its eagerness to catch its fatigued prey, that the Ursa Major had developed tunnel vision; it charged after Abel, ignoring Bridget except for brushing against the trunk of her tree. Abel managed to notice this when he looked back to see if Bridget was following.

Abruptly, he changed direction, and leaped behind some bushes to his right. The Ursa, suddenly confused, altered course and smashed through the bushes, but Abel was no longer there. Instead, he stood still behind a trunk not too far away. Until the bearlike monster detected his scent in a few moments, he could do as he wished. “Head for the cave now!” He hollered at his partner. The Ursa Major, roughly forty feet away, perked up his ears and turned toward him. “I'll stall it!”

Abel jumped away again as the Grimm's burly arm tore the trunk into firewood. With a resolute shout he raised the Ampere and plunged it into the vermillion grass. Seeing only another obstacle, and a puny one at that, the Ursa Major attacked once more with a cruel horizontal swipe. Rather than disemboweling the boy, however, the blow's path was suddenly stopped by the Ampere's shaft, which vibrated violently from the impact and released a high-voltage shock into the large Ursa's paw. It recoiled, snarling at the strange, hurtful sensation as it rose up onto its hind legs, and Abel pulled his slightly-dented weapon from the earth to take advantage of the opening. The Grimm's head was an obvious target, particularly the darkened eye with its mottled flesh, but he knew aiming that high was too risky. An image of the Ursa Major batting the extended polearm away and ripping his intestines out flashed through Abel's head, and he instead sent a thrust at its stubby hind legs. His dirtied blade pierced the ebony fur, and the monster roared in pain. Spurred on by fear, Abel hightailed it out of there, leaving the wounded beast in his dust as he made for the cave Bridget had indicated earlier.

As Emlyn took the role of distracting one of the Itzamna, Auriel went to work on the other. At first, it went to defend its kin, but the golden-clad warrior who had gotten in its way prevented that. After giving a screech of fury, it took a step towards Auriel, then jumped, forcing all of its weight onto his shield. He was pushed back a good bit, but Auriel managed to keep his defenses from collapsing. While he was having a pushing contest with the Grimm, the creature decided to get smart, swinging around his shield with its clawed arm. Auriel barely managed to protect himself with his Aura, but even that wasn't enough, and he felt the sharp claws cut into his cheek.

Cursing, Auriel swung his blade as hard as he could into the Itzamna's leg, a sickening crunch and screech sounding out as the raptor's bone broke, while at the same time feather and flesh were torn from its limb by the blade as it rotated rapidly. Angrily, the Grimm snapped at him with its mouth, Auriel meeting the elongated face with a smack from his shield. The Itzamna screeched again, taking a very cautious and slow step backwards, seeming to realize that it had no chance of survival now. Instead, it simply swiped its claws at Auriel, its one last line of defense.

Calmly, Auriel walked up to the monster, swatting one of its arms away with a quick swing from his sword. Countering the other arm's attack with a bash from his shield, Auriel dove directly into the creature's chest, stabbing his sword through its chest from the side, the spinning motions of the blade tearing it apart from the inside. In its death throes, the Grimm managed to hit Auriel in the back with one of its hands, but the talons were prevented from piercing Auriel's armor and flesh by his Aura. As the dead enemy limply fell to the ground, Auriel circled around and cut the end of its tail off. The feathers would serve as a nice trophy, and he could sell the other Itzamnas' feathers for a good price with Emlyn.

Oh, shit, Emlyn. Turning around, Auriel looked to his partner, hoping he'd been able to survive his own battle.

Well, to his credit Emlyn was surviving. He'd hardly been able to move from his previous spot, remaining back-to-the-ground with Mirror held defensively above him. The Itzamna only paused in its assault every few moments to try and snake a talon around, or over, but Emlyn had retracted almost his entire form behind the shield. This was a little less than the best situation he'd ever been in -maybe the Grimm would tire out? He must've looked ridiculous laying there like a turtle, and if his life weren't on the line, the embarrassment would have been deadly.

He faintly heard the dying screeches of the other Itzamna, and that brought a sliver of relief to him. On top of that, he wasn't the only one to take notice; the Itzamna hurling slash after slash at him paused for a few terrifying moments until it screeched, directed away from him. Emlyn chanced a very brief view around his shield, and realized the Grimm was gazing off at Auriel as he slashed off the other Itzamna's tail.

Emlyn saw his chance, and took it. He rolled to the side, out from underneath the beast, and retracted the center from Mirror. Springing to his feet, he whirled the chakram around and tore through the front of the Itzamna's neck. The thing tried to screech again, but the sound wouldn't travel past the gaping wound, and after a few flails of its arms, and its tail, it toppled to the ground, dead.

"Yes! Holy shit we did it!" he yelled, jumping up in excitement. He gave the nearby corpse a swift kick, scurrying a few steps back when it twitched a bit. He recomposed himself though and grinned in the sinister way that was his default. "Oh man, we absolutely wrecked them!"

Bridgett hesitated, loathe to leave her new partner behind to face the Ursa Major alone, but after a moment of thought she knew that she would just be a hindrance. Holding her side tightly with one arm she began using Rakurai to pull herself through the trees, keeping her movements minimal and not stopping to touch the ground in order to allow her aura to heal he as much as possible. A small detached part of her brain knew that what she was doing was extremely acrobatic and impressive, but she was too focused on regretting leaving her partner behind and fleeing from danger to really pay attention to it.

After several minutes of fairly flying through the forest, she was forced to come to a halt as the trees stopped a little ways out from the cave entrance. No longer able to pull herself along using her weapon, she started limping along the clearing. When she heard the Ursa Major cry out, she feared the worst, and stopped to turn around ans scan the forest looking for any sign of her partner.

Gren landed with a solid thud. His armor took the entire shock of the landing so he was fine. Looking around, he noticed the utter darkness of the area. Good thing he had nightvision. He saw Kuhaku not too far away and called out to him. "Kuhaku, I'm over here!" Not the best thing for Gren to do however. Soon the sound of some sort of buzzing echoed through the room. Drawing the God Eater Gren rolled for initiative.

From the dust boxy metallic figures rose. Gren didn't sense the same sense of darkness from them like normal Grimm... And upon further observation, he realized they were machines. Old machines, designed to excavating the tunnel. But something about them made Gren uneasy. He had a feeling they weren't just going to go back to work. "Kuhaku, does your illusions work on machines?" Gren mentioned as at least ten of the palpitated robots shuffled towards the duo.

Serara

The wind blows softly the blood like petals fall from the tree and onto her chest. Slowly her eyes begin to open the normal blurred vision appears as she wakes up slowly. The slight pain from her hips and back. She slowly start's to sit up the flinching as she does. "N-..ngh,..." She groans of pain her hands raising as she rubs both of her eyes. Covered in leaves, mostly. She stood up kicking off the leaves and the dirt from her legs bending over a few times as she did. The pain slowly stopped as she stretched out. She didn't know what happened to her. All she needed to focus on the 'test' that's what she called it. She looked at her surroundings and mostly nothing was near only the blood like color of the leaves grown from the trees.

She looked around where she had crashed seeing that her fans were still the same as usual. She picked them up and looked trying to spot any damages upon her weapon. Nothing, nodding she would turn and stood there. Flicking open her fans staring at what was in front of her, a tree. Her eyes seemingly scanned more than she could actually see predicting where she would move and how. She raised her arms too the sides and stared retracting them back to her sides quickly as she moved like the sound. Dodging the nearby trees. Now. She needed a partner she didn't know what happened nor how long she was out but she was sure she was out for long enough. As she dashed and dodged the various red trees she back flipped stopping the leaves raised as she took sight on a beowolf.

She stared at that shelled face and the spikes that laid on its shoulder. She stepped up and wasn't afraid too battle the beast. She stared at it for a few moments until 'it' noticed her. It growled and began running towards her. Her pupils became smaller and time seemingly became slow. Taking in all the detail that was in front of her and spotted a few weak spots she could hit. Time had seemingly resumed as she ducked. The beowolf had attempted too tackle her but just simply jumped over her. The wolf turned staring at her with those blood like eyes. Dashing once more Serara dashed towards the beowolf as well. The fans at her sides ready to strike when the time was right. Remembering the weak spots she had spotted she leveled down, still running. Once they were close the wolf's front slightly as it dashed giving Serara the chance to strike its hind legs and so she did. Her fans cut half of the wolfs legs. Hearing it whine as it landed on the ground, hard.

Staring at it she frowned. She didn't want the animal to suffer nor did she want too kill it but..she had too. She sighed walked towards the wolf her fans close to the wolfs neck trying to shuffle out. Frowning she turned away leaning over and leaving a slit on the beowolfs neck. She knew it would die in matters of seconds. She sighed dashing away once more.

After another few minutes of tense waiting, Bridget's probing eyes detected motion in the trees. Sure enough, Abel eventually rocketed out of the vegetation. Despite still managing to run at a good speed, it was obvious he was exhausted; his form was shoddy and inefficient, and his mouth gaped open as he sprinted, gulping down each painful breath. Any hopes his partner might have had that they were home free were dashed when the Ursa Major appeared from the forest on his tail, a little slower but not much worse for wear. Unable to continue, Abel collapsed on the ground, the Ampere falling silently into the red grass as its owner crumpled. Sensing victory, the Ursa Major slowed to a lumbering pace, though it still quickly closed the distance between its salivating jaws and its prey. Abel fumbled for the Ampere, succeeding after a few tries to press the switch that changed it to staff mode. His last-ditch attempt proved useless, however, as he discovered he couldn't coax out a lightning bolt—his aura was too low. Cursing, he looked up again.

The Ursa Major loomed over him, staring at him with its one scarlet eye, clearly savoring his fear. Abel hoisted himself into a sitting position, propping himself up with the butt end of the Ampere while pointing the business end at the Grimm as if it would do him any good. His monstrous enemy snorted derisively and lazily raised a claw to tear out his entrails.

A sudden, high-pitched noise caused it to pause, irritated, but its momentary apprehension turned into rage when a blur shot out from the forest and ripped through its raised arm, nearly splitting the limb in half. Abel's skull rattled as the Ursa Major roared and turned around to take revenge on the new threat. For a moment, the boy was forgotten, and he used the opportunity to push himself to his feet and scramble away. Once he was by Bridget's side, he looked over his shoulder.

Four more students had suddenly appeared. He instantly recognized Mary, the sheep faunus and the first student he had met at Beacon, as well as the obnoxious twins Hansen and Gretchen. The fourth figure puzzled him: it looked vaguely like a young boy, but seemed to be composed of black smoke rather than flesh and bone. It wielded an equally nebulous cutlass, and its eyes shone a viridian green. Only when Pan Neverell -the kid he'd met at the drinking fountain early this morning- appeared did the spectacle make any sense. Must be his semblance or something. At that moment, he also realized that these four teenagers had saved his life.

After a few seconds of savage growling, the Ursa Major decided to attack. It went for the shadow-Pan, aiming a cutting slash at its torso, but the entity merely floated off the ground and out of reach. Abel wondered if it was some sort of ghost, but was answered only moments later when the shadow swooped down and hacked at the Major's wounded paw, finishing the job of severing it. As the Grimm bellowed, Hansen stepped forward and chopped at its flank with his halberd. The Ursa Major, consumed by pain as the bone-white axehead lodged in its flesh, smashed him with its good paw. Though the blow could have killed someone like Bridget or Gretchen, Hansen absorbed it with his back like it was nothing and chopped again.

The Ursa Major, now badly hurt, began to understand that it would lose this fight. It tried one more time, lunging at defenseless Gretchen, but missed as the slender girl sidestepped before stabbing its paw with her burning cattle prod. With an ugly, frothing snarl, the Ursa Major retreated. It thundered across the clearing, straight past Abel and Bridget, and into the cave. The siblings gave chase, followed closely by Mary, who held the crossblade that had gotten the Ursa's attention. The only one who paused was Pan, flanked by his living shadow.

“We'll take care of this. You had better rest up a moment and let your aura heal you, then get moving.”

With a slight inclination of his head, the blonde boy raced into the cave. His shadow stayed a second longer, staring at Bridget's face, before following.

It was a moment before Abel spoke. “That was...too close. I'm happy with moving on. Maybe we...try for train place?”

Auriel nodded as he saw the last moments of Emlyn's own fight and his celebration. A smile creeped onto his face as he mulled it over for a moment, then he decided that a few moments of celebration -probably- wouldn't get them killed. Slapping his sword against nothing to shake some of the remaining blood off of it, he sheathed his blade and replaced his shield on his back. Then, his face lost almost all of its tension and he jumped in the air, pumping his fist once. "AWWW YEEAAAHHHH!!!! Chicken punks got PWNED!" Laughing happily, he walked over to Emlyn and sighed. "Ya did good, dude. Ya did good. Now...help me relieve these little shits of their tails. The feathers sell for bounties. I, for one, plan on making a trophy out of a few of them."

Regaining his serious composure, Auriel walked between the corpse, slashing their tails off and looping them around his belt. After gathering a few, leaving some for Emlyn of course, he started to slowly and meticulously pluck each feather out. This was not a job to be rushed. These feathers were unique, and he had to admit that they were rather striking. Not so much when the deadly creature they were attached to was trying to gut you like a fish, but still.

After finishing up his first tail, Auriel took a break to stretch his neck and arms. "Man...we are gonna be rich."

As she was running, she heard her partner right behind her, and he was right, they just couldnt be apart and stuff. So, what Priscilla did was that she found a river close by, and quickly splashed her face with water. She stood up and turned to face Greyson. "You are right. I am sorry, its just today hasn't been the best day for me and my hair... first I got spilled with some kind of liquid and then and THEN! I fall and mud is all over my face. Thats not a good thing. Thats... THATS BAD LUCK!" she nodded to herself as she would begin to walk around, trying to find two others and the relic.

A few minutes later, they were walking around, wandering around and what not as they got faced by the relic! A piece of it and then boom, thats when they met with two others. (Robert and tai.) "Oh! GREYSON LOOK. Look!! GREYSON!" She said poking Greyson's shoulder as she ran to the other two, hoping that Greyson was behind her and boom! Thats where a big as Grimm appeared in the middle of both of the partner teams. It was a pretty good idea to actually fight as a team with this Grimm.

Greyson panted a little glad he caught up to her as she washed her face in the river and explained that she was having bad luck and Greyson shook his head "if you were having bad luck we wouldn't have become partners" Greyson said hoping that would make her smile again and make her realize that when something bad happens something good will happen to compensate for the trouble even if it may seem like an unequal trade.

Greyson followed her and they finally found the relic! Greyson looked to see Pricilla poking his shoulder to point to the other students and Greyson smiled sighing in relief "finally we found ourselves a relic and two other students to join up with" Greyson said smiling grabbing the relic and beginning to walk to their other partner team glad they could find someone else to be on their team and work together with, knowing they had a full team meant that the would pass the test as soon as they gave the relics to their instructor. Right now Greyson wondered what their semblance was so Greyson could come up with ways to make their team the best and be able to take out any grim that they came across in the near future at least he can tell that the test wouldn't be easy so something was sure going to happen...

Beliya stared at Gideon's wound appraisingly, without even trying to hide her stare at him. Looking back up at his eyes, she couldn't help but hold back a small smile at how comedic it was to see him staring complacently and solemnly with only a slight tilt denoting either confusion or curiosity. Closing her eyes for a moment, Beliya responded with: "I suppose so...if you want to look at it that way. So long as you don't die on the way.", saying the last part almost sarcastically.

Once she'd started moving, he'd already unsheathed his blades and mentioned something about the train...sounded simple. Too simple, in fact. Beliya unsheathed her machete-rifle and held the butt of it with her hand, leaning it against her shoulder, before replying to Gideon's suggestion with: "Exactly, its a good idea. That's why we aren't going there. Anybody would think that the train would have cards, and, if everybody is thinking it, that means its been done already." Turning fully to face him, she added: "If anything, we should ignore the train while the lemmings fight over the artifacts."

Emlyn basked in their victory for a few moments, letting Auriel's own elation fuel him. He'd practiced for a while, he was well-versed in handling his chakram and had excelled against targets. But it was different fighting against something else that was -arguably- alive, and infinitely more hostile than a wooden target. It wasn't like fighting other people either, which, admittedly the last time he'd had to test that he wasn't particularly good at it. No, this was a monster. Not just one, many, they'd fought a pack of these beasts and come out on top.

It took him a moment to realize that Auriel had moved on to practical business. Ah, right, the Itzamna feathers, icing on the cake. He checked his shoulder, now bare of the feathered spaulder from before. A quiet huff of air left his lips, and he made his way over to one of the corpses.

"I'll only need a few, the rest are yours my friend," he said, carefully extracting the feathers from the tail of the dead Itzamna. "Though Aury, Aury, you've got to promise me you'll look into gussying up a bit."

He spoke jokingly, though if they were going to be famous hunters, he hoped his partner would at least look the part. But that was a little ways away still, for now, they had a victory to revel in, and an artifact to find. They'd run a little ways away from their previous spot, but he was fairly sure they could recover the distance quickly enough. When he was finished, he stood back up, immediately regretting the decision when the strength left his legs and left his knees wobbly.

Without missing a beat he leaned against Mirror, playing it off as nothing. It seemed as though he was still a tad shaken, but that'd wear off. He cleared his throat and turned his attention to his partner once again. "Uhm...thanks for the help, really, good job. Teamwork," he mumbled, offering an accentuating thumbs-up.

Laura's eyes were suddenly forced to focus on... shit. A girl. She had already locked eyes with the woman before she even got a chance to survey the damned boomerang thrower. She could only imagine how competent her 'partner' was, with how she was wiggling around her hand and assuming it could roar... Which brought Laura to another incredibly irritating fact; they were being attacked by an Ursa. She crossed her arms in an unamused manner as her fellow huntress threw the boomerang she wielded and sprinted at her, leading the Ursa towards Laura in the process.

She let a snarl escape her lips as the girl, whom apparently was named 'Trico', charged in her direction. It seemed her boomerang did little more than irritate the giant bear creature, who set its blazing red eyes upon Laura. Meeting its glare with one filled with just as much intensity, the imposing girl uncrossed her arms. The mechanism in her gauntlets snapped into action again, loading up another cartridge of dust and thrusting its internal needle into her tattoo channels. A surge of aura sent a vibrant cyan light flowing through the winding pathways that marked her fair skin, lighting her arms and legs up with a freezing cold energy.

The air around her body filled itself with mist as a result of the rapid cooling produced by Laura's dust. Watching the Ursa plant its claws firmly into the ground and give out a battle cry before charging, the perpetually angry girl shot a brief glance at Trico. "Don't get in the way." Was all she spat before calmly (if you could call her 'calm') walking in the direction of the charging bear. No sooner than their strides hit the middle point of their meeting did she extend one hand, firing a cone of freezing cold energy to envelope the bear. The horrible creature managed a few more steps before ice coated every inch of its body, freezing it perfectly like a statue. Laura completed the rest of her walk in peace, reaching the frozen 'sculpture' in no time. Without missing a beat, she raised the same hand she had frozen the beast with and launched a strong punch at it.

The bear shattered, hundreds of frozen Grimm chunks flying into the grass around them. The threat dispelled, Laura's tattoos lost their glow once more and she sighed in relief as the icy temperatures surrounding her body retreated. Turning on her bared heel, she looked back at Trico, a frown on her features. At least it wasn't a scowl this time. "I'm Laura. As per Headmaster Ozpin's instructions, we're partners. Don't slow me down. That is your only warning."

Trico watched as the girl soloed the Ursa, not even giving Trico chance to show off her awesome Bojutsu skills.Instead, she just froze it and then broke it. Like it wasn't a massively ugly Ursa.
"Wow, your totally awesome!" Trico exclaimed, replacing her staff and grinning widely, oblivious to the hostility this girl was trying to give off. She had a cute partner, who was really strong and totally awesome at the same time, and she had previously exclaimed. She didn't half speak wierd though.
"Hello Laura it's great to meet you. But....how would I slow you down? Unless I sat on you or hung off your shoulders like some sort of human backpack. But other than that I don 't know what I could do to slow you down" She told Laura, grinning like a demented puppy.

Laura raised her hand, pinching the bridge of her nose with her black painted nails. This girl was certainly... special. It was going to be a long four years if this is what she had to put up with. Steeling herself against the girl's oblivious and rather high strung nature, the mage walked her way towards Trico. "You'll see. Or, you won't, depending on how competent of a huntress you are I suppose." The rather cold girl said, passing by her new found partner. According to Ozpin, they needed to locate several relics among the training grounds.

Where to start looking though? She gazed around, looking through the treeline for any kind of monument for them to focus on moving towards. Surely they had to be placed in obvious, if difficult to get to places. Otherwise the test would be nothing but a wild goose chase. Spotting a mountain far off through the bloody red trees of Forever Fall, she snapped. "We're going to go to the mountain to find relics first. Follow me." Laura demanded, immediately asserting dominance over their pairing. She wouldn't allow someone like... this to take the lead. If she wished to act like a puppy, she could follow like one! Her foul mood fading ever so slightly in the face of their relic finding prospects, she marched off through the trees, towards their goal.

Trico frowned softly at the girl, saying she'd see or wouldn't see. And It all depended on how good of a huntress she was, which was also confusing, like her vision was dependant on skill.
"Why? Do they like, give out some really cool glasses to thehuntresses that are good and that lets you see things better?" She asked, following the girl as she walked by. It semed she had an idea where to go, which was more than Trico. She then told Trico she was heading into the mountians and ordered Trico to follow her. Like she was some sort of Mistress or something.
"Yes Mistress!" Trico exclaimed loudly, giggling as she followed the marching woman though the trees, occasionally kicking up a large cloud of red leaves and batting at them playfully. "So, what do these Relics look like?" she asked, following Laura and changing sides every few seconds.

Robert heard what sounded like people talking and turned around to see two students running towards him and Tai. He tapped Tai on the shoulder and said, "Hey look! More people!" He started walking towards the two new students and introduced himself, "Hey! I'm Robert and this is my partner Tai. We just met. Well we didn't JUST meet, we met a several minutes ago. Like a mile away from here. What's that you got in your hand," pointing to the playing card. A sudden realization hit Robert, "Is that the relic? I remember those from the history books at Signal. Playing cards was what I think they were called." He looked up smiling, he liked showing his mastery of being able to remember historical facts. "Anyway, sorry for not letting you introduce yourselves. Who are you?"
