Alright my recommendation for a water bending user is this: Water Benders are for either swift attack, support (Freezing enemies and the like), or healers. I recommend going with one of those.

My thoughts exactly. Primarily he/she is going to be a supporter, but also a mix of the three. Think of it as bard-esque. I'm feeling street rat trickster of sorts, so they would have a wide variety of skills needed to survive the mean streets alone. Definitely no where near the combat skill of a pro-bender.

Book two is about four months off from the start of this roleplay.

Cool. I'm thinking water bender for me. Haven't played one yet.
I'll hand over my interest. Just a quick question, how far off is the Harmonic Convergence, or rather does book two not happen in this semi-cannon?

  • History: The citizens of Kado had no idea what to make of Joe when he and his wife, Liliana, first arrived. One day he walked through the town and out the other side without a single word. A few days later they found him again, digging a hole. Though they asked him questions, neither him nor his wife spoke a word, so everyone just let them be. Finally he spoke a week later when he came to town hauling some ore he dug up, looking to trade it for some food. Everyone asked him how he found it, and all he said was "I dug."

After a while he built a forge and made some tools to make the digging easier. Some of Kado's residents took to digging with Joe, eager to unearth whatever they could to provide for the village. Soon his little hole developed into the Full Moon Quarry. It wasn't long before he spent less time digging and more time repairing the few tools used to dig, as all they could find were small veins here and there. This is what the villagers came to him for now, along with his keen tracking abilities.

Considered by many to be a Guardian, Joesph is indifferent to the title, and took no vow. But like a Guardian he inserts himself into any conflict he sees, silently seeking an end to the dispute. As he rarely enters the town, most of the time he quells any trouble at the Quarry. But on occasion he has come to town solely for the purpose of helping the other Guardians out.

Liliana shares her husbands joy in silence, but the similarities end there as he is much more social, if you can call it that. Often she makes trips to the village to help out and shop for both her and him. She doesn’t have a steady job, instead she keeps their humble home clean and cooks meals for the two of them. However she is a gifted basket maker, and from time to time she gets asked to make one. She is also famous for being the only one capable of getting Joesph to crack a smile.

Point of Interest: Full Moon Quarry
The Quarry started out as a few holes that Joesph dug himself. Over the years with the help of the village it became a full blown quarry. Though it is not rich in anything particular, it contained more then anyone had found before hand. If nothing else a few artifacts have been found in the quarry, and are being kept at the Library for study. The quarry's name came from an annual event that some of the villagers started up. Once a month a group of them would gather under the full moon and hold a fight club of sorts, testing their skill in the quarry like it was some kind of arena.

Next to the Quarry is Joesph and Liliana's home, a few simple tied together canopies and their forge. Joesph doesn't let anyone touch the forge beside himself and his wife when she needs to use it as a fire pit. Everyone has offered time and time again to help them build a proper home, but the two of them quietly refuse every time.
I guess that makes me number six them. Very nice work.
Whatever the show would bring, Russ knew the songs they were going to go through at least. Music is an art that lives an breaths with the crowd, if they wanted something, the band had to give it to them. To Russ that was the most exiting part. As he watched everyone flow into the establishment, he could see all kinds. Teenagers, housewives, men to tired to stand up but wanted to party anyway, this is what the music was all about. Philosophers can easily talk your ear off about the subject, but to Russ it was plain and simple, music hits the soul.

Taking his mark he plucked a few more tunes until it was time to turn up the amp. Looking out he could see a few people he recognized, and waved to them in kind. Turning to his band he gave them the thumbs down, his personal way of saying break a leg. He wasn't one for superstitions, he simply did it because he found it funny. By far the most fidgety one now was Drake, lord knows that he put a lot of time into getting this show rolling, and here it came to fruition. Russ was ready to please.
Hey all. So here's the deal, I want to bring back some RPs that I was in a long time ago. So I'ma list them here and everyone let me know the one your the most interested in. The first one with a good amount of interests I'll make an OCC and get that ball rolling. Before you post I ask that you read all of them and agree to follow the generic guidelines.

  • Be a good person. (Don't control other PCs, keep language civil, keep it PG-13 at most, don't be a jerk)

  • Be interested and active. (Try to post at most once a day at least every three days. Its not fair to the others if you can't be active.)

  • Don't just play, tell a story. (While I would be the "GM," all players have creative input. If your character wants to screw off and play poker for the scene, go for it. Just refer to #1.)

  • This is a Casual Roleplay. (Please know what this means. I don't expect Shakespeare, not in the least. But the more you write the more others can respond.)

  • Have fun. (Try and be social out of the game as well. I love players who can shoot the breeze OCC.)

  • The Family: Flesh and Ichor

Blue is the Color of the Soul

    Kingdom Hearts: When Darkness Woke

Feel free to ask any questions. All of these have a lot of materials behind them I assure you, but I am always looking for ways to expand them.
So how is everyone doing? I've been stuck with nothing but rain where I am.
I have a star wars character that I think would be fun to play here. Count me interested.
Like clockwork the seriousness faded and the jocularity came in. The band liked not only to talk big, but dream big as well. Some of them practiced day and night, some of them had natural talent that you don’t see too often. Together they were likely the strangest band for at least three counties, but people liked that. No matter what business this place had normally, Out of Thin Air was bound to bring in some fans. To Russ it was all fun and games, trying something new and deciding on then next move. It had seemed like they were on a winning streak lately, and the mood was good.

"I'd be game for round eight of "Dueling Violins," he commented, winking at Valerie. "She's up four to three, lest you wanna retire a winner Val." Russel would have never thought that routine would be that popular. What originally started as him stepping on her toes so to say turned into a neat little act, classic versus modern. It turns out most people didn't even know violins had gone electric, and apparently the score shows that you can't beat the original, even though he planed to change that.
