Current So, how many of you are willing to learn the power to believe in yourselves? XD

I think I'm cursed. Seriously, it seems like when I join an RP I really wanna get into and enjoy, 9 times out of 10, said RP grinds to a near halt and what not.

Bio

Gamer here. Nobody special, just someone making his way through life one day at a time, working towards
a brighter future. I'm looking for roleplays that have more of a Supernatural vibe to them, or Urban Fantasy,
something involving Super Powers, or even something Anime-Inspired. Any of these will do.

My Skype name is the same as on here. As for other interesting things? Well...Cracker Chips are actually quite
delicious XD

I'm something of an Otaku so I'm a fan of shows like Kamen Rider, GARO, Pretty Cure (or Magical Girl Shows in general),
Ultraman, and what not.

Will probably update this when I got more to talk about.

Everything on the sheets were fine and accepted. She can do w/e with inanimate objects or plants. Just keep in mind when using telepathy on sentient organics, she can throw someone across the room a couple times but that should be about the limit. I would think the stronger the mind of the person she's trying to move, the harder it is to move them. So someone with a weak mind can be flung. But someone with a strong mind or mild telepathy would be like trying to push a stove with sticky wheels.

Alright, thanks XD

So, do I start on Luna 2 since I'm Freelander?
@GamerXZEven that would destroy internal organs. However I have no problem with her ability to blow people away with her voice. Even breaking metal if she wants. We'll just leave the science of it out. It was just a fun fact I thought you might like to know. Another fun fact, if her voice was sonic, it could disassemble objects (through vibration instead of sound waves) like door locks, small vehicles, or pretty much anything that has screws and pieces, at a sound frequency that wouldn't blow the entire city off the face of the earth.

Also pushing people with telepathy is fine. Just don't want anything like blowing away or subduing multiple enemies with a single thought.

@t2waveI only think people should use hiders for large images or long walls of text. But small images or a few paragraphs never hurt to have on the page.

Heh, good to know indeed XD

So, what would you recommend setting their telekinesis level to?
@GamerXZ I'm a little against the idea of using telekinesis on organics(people). Other than that the sheet looks fine.

Fyi, scientifically speaking, the energy required to create a sound wave capable of puncturing steel(don't even wanna think about shattering it) is equal to that of about 2 nuclear bombs going off...give or take. Each time Aurora uses that little singing voice of hers, it would be like standing next to 2 Hiroshimas. As a matter of fact, the actual sound waves would be the least of your worries. The winds, in excess of 300mph along with the shock wave from the sound would pretty much liquefy people. But we can just use sci-fi movie logic for this instance. That way she doesn't level entire continents with her voice.

@Mistress DizzyNever hate your work! I learned a long time ago to stop being super-critical of my own work. It's healthy to be a little critical but you have to remember, we're here to have fun...not mimic being in an ap writing class.

Sorry about that XD

Actually, I can make it so her sound wave is equal to the normal "knock someone across the room" level and limit the telekinesis to affecting themselves and inorganics and material that isn't humans XD

So, how did you guys like my first post?
So, who we waiting on now? Also,I'll have my sheet up soon.
Adrian sat outside a coffee shop, idly sipping his iced chocolate mocha and just watching people go about their business. These were the moments he liked to savor, no work, no worries about troubling anyone. Some might argue this wasn't the most productive use of his time, especially considering he had a Literature essay due in another two weeks, but he already had it half finished so he felt he had earned a little break.

Of course, there was another reason he had his head in the clouds right now...and it had to do with the marking on his hand. Making sure no one was watching him, he rolled up his sleeve to look at it again. Sure enough, it was still there, a bite mark like what you may get from a dog whom didn't like you. He would never forget the moment it had first showed up...or the pain that had come with it, and especially not that voice.

"Kill or be Killed."

Ever since then, things had been different for him. He had gained special talents, superpowers even. On one hand, it was exciting, the thought of being like the heroes in the comic books he had read. Someone who did what was right for the sake of doing it....but he had to remind himself this was still the "real world" where people like that were few and far between, and those few tended to be treated as little better than vigilantes and law-breakers.

Suddenly, he had his inner thoughts interrupted by a voice, "Help! Someone! Police!"

Suddenly, the young man sprung into action, pulling his hood over his face and darting back into the coffee shop where the few customers inside were watching the store clerk be assaulted by some hoodlum dressed all in black and keeping them from getting close with a knife. "Shut up, old man! Just give me the money and I won't gut you like a fish!!"

Normally, a situation like this would cause the young man to freeze up like a statue...but instead, he just sighed and walked towards the hoodlum who brandished the knife in his direction, "Oi, stay back! I-I'm warning you...I'll kill you, I swear it!"

"Yes, yes, that's all well and good, now please drop that before you poke your own eye out, kid," Adrian retorted, not having the patience for this right now. Just from a glance, his powers went active. Holding the knife all wrong, jittery and disgruntled means he hasn't had much experience wielding it. Putting on a show, trying to appear tough..."Look dude. There's better ways to make money than holding up a flipping coffee shop. Trust me, you may act tough but you're just a kid trying to play pretend, aren't you?"

"S-Shut up!!" The hoodlum seemed to freeze where he stood but he didn't move, "I...I said shut up! Get down on the ground before I cut you to ribbons!!" Without another thought, he lunged forward...but Adrian was already prepared. He ducked under the man's swing and grabbed his forearm before sweeping his legs out from under him with his foot and slammed him down onto the ground hard enough to cause him to cry out in pain.

"Y-You..." The hoodlum tried to sit up but a fist between the eyes kept that from happening.

"Gosh darn it, my hand!!!" Adrian howled as he tried to shake the numbness out of it, "Oh man, that happens every time!...Uh..." He looked over to the clerk, "You might wanna call the police before he comes around...and maybe an ambulance....Bye!" With that, he darted out of the store before anyone could say anything.
Name: Adrian Smith
Appearence:

Age: 21

Personality: Adrian is a bit of a meek, timid individual who dislikes the spotlight and being the center of attention, even going off into his own space at times. That said, those whom approach him find him to be a kind, supportive type with a strong sense of honesty and an eye for small details. Despite his occasional meekness, he is rather patient and seems to enjoy listening to people's stories and their problems, even providing what advice he can, though he cannot always be sure how they will take it.

He strongly dislikes authority figures that abuse their power or bullies in general or those who try to crush other's dreams which can trigger him and cause him to say things he may later feel guilty about...but not always guaranteed to regret them either.

Biography: Adrian's life has not exactly what one would call "ideal" but it certainly wasn't bad either. He was born to a loving couple, had a few friends, and he was very good when it came to his school and his studies...though there were a few aspects of him that stood out from other kids. Where as some young men preferred sports or playing in the dirt, Adrian liked to help with planting gardens, knitting, and baking, something that he got mocked for by his peers which damaged his self-esteem in the long term. On top of that, he loved cute things and shows meant for girls which only added to his embarrassment.Although his parents supported his interests and tastes, it was obvious the public would likely look at him as a creep, so he kept them a secret.

Another thing is that as he grew up, he began to see the growing corruption in certain circles of power which helped inspire his dream of being a writer, reporter or some individual who stood up for equal rights and freedom of speech, that people were free to be who they were comfortable as and not what society expected of them....that was the plan until the day he gained his powers...

What would he use them for? Would he run and hide at the thought of having to fight others like him? Or would he stand up and be like the heroes from his comic books? And make a real difference? Only time will tell...

Powers: ???
So, where exactly is this RP set? Like, what town or city and stuff?
Hey, if I were to put up a picture of what I wanted an Alien species to generally look like, could you guys recommend a name for it, please?
