<Snipped quote by Stale Pizza> As of yet, there are no changes to the Gym Leaders or Indigo League.
Yeah, I'm kinda curious what kinda story or plot we have here. So far all I know: *10 years in the future *It's in Kanto *Slice of life, lot's of crime, during a peaceful time.
Kojiro
Kojiro felt Zume's..... things heading down towards him, as well as noting the spear disappearing physically before reappearing in Zume's hand. He felt excited to see Zume now on the offensive. Kojiro figured getting the man to that point was no small task. Kojiro took the few moments he had as Zume descended he had to take inventory. He stuff the tessen back into his damaged robe, and ripped off the part of his robe where the sheathe to his Kodachi had been. It was tattered and likely to hurt Kojiro if he kept it on. The sheathe flew off the robe. The ripped robe was tied quickly around his mouth It was only a bit before the.... things were upon him. Kojiro grabbed his Nodachi with both hands, and cut once at the ground beneath him, towards the abyss. The Earth beneath him groaned as he did so. He stood ready for the movements coming at him. Mere moments before they would reach him, the earth would collapse, pulling him towards the abyss, and hopefully out the way of the.... things. The earth was steadfast, he could depend on it, it was a much safer abyss than Zume. Kojiro sighed. He didn't have enough chakra to counterattack at the moment. It was boring to sit around making as little action as possible.
Kojiro
Kojiro eyes saw a sudden movement coming from the spears, and decided a sacrifice was needed then. It was mostly based on the destruction of his Flowing Wave from earlier that made him determined not to touch Zume's chakra personally if at all possible... in this case 'if at all possible' might sting. Kojiro waved his opened fan downward with a fluid motion from having opened it, ending with the fan facing him. Earth Style: Gaia's Breath Blades of dust, weakly formed, partly from the speed of the technique, partly for convenience formed quickly and slammed into Kojiro, sending him flying downwards towards the ground and under the forming blades at a 135 degree angle sending Kojiro flying downwards at an angle to evade the spears. The spear itself would probably land in the last of the wave upwards probably being sandblasted from existance, or at least thrown upwards. Though at this rate, nothing was going to surprise Kojiro of what Zume was doing. The technique of Gaia's Breathe hitting Kojiro did minor damage, and though they hurt, the cuts were relatively small, but the technique was made weakly, and aimed mostly at the sheathe of his Kodachi in his robe. Kojiro looked up to see how Zume would be dealing with the earth sent to cut him to ribbons. He was a bit shocked to see the top of his technique starting to get thrown around everywhere in the sky. Kojiro gave a grudging acknowledgement to Zume. "I couldn't have imagined he'd be so strong. I'm not even sure I could imagine someone being that strong. That technique may be new, but I expected it to be more damaging." The technique would keep firing upwards for another few moments, though Kojiro was in no condition to add to it. The dust likely continue to scatter from the sky, covering the entire area in a cloud of dust. Kojiro swept his tessen under him, softening the ground as he hit it, landing slightly to the side of the massive abyss that had been formed by his Mountain Cutter, his sword continuing to draw in the rest of itself to reform, while at the same time drawing in natural energy. Kojiro smiled a bit. "Well now, this is challenging. I've got to overcome a power I haven't yet been able to imagine, with my chakra low. Glorious. I'm not so helpless anymore though."
Funny how fast this thing filled up with character sheets. Hope it starts soon personally.
Man, seeing everyone elses profile calls for some editting. Going to make mine more reputable. Edit: Fixed'er up.
Name: Edgar Delano Age:18 Gender: Male Hometown: Lavender town Appearance: Edgar is rather tall at 6'2, and has a medium build with a pale complexion. He has fairly long brown hair, kept in a pony tail, and bangs that touch his chin. His eyes are brown. Edgar wears a large dark brown cowboy hat most of the time and also wears a light brown trench coat with many pockets, along with boots, and gloves on his hand. Personality: Edgar is laid back and enjoys just relaxing. He lives life to enjoy every moment of it, and tries not to stress out about things. His philosophy on life is 'just one day at a time'. He couldn't take the sullenness of lavender town, and tries avoiding depressing situations, which makes him not delicate with people who are down. He just doesn't know how to deal with them. His solution to anything he doesn't know how to deal with is to just leave it alone. He prefers being around happy people, and is happy-go-lucky himself. He's not serious about many things, and is lazy as a result. For Edgar, he just wants to relax, and have a good time all the time. Alot of this comes because Edgar is unsure what he wants to do. He likes travelling, but doesn't see how he's becoming anything, so he just doesn't think about it. He feels a bit ashamed whenever someone mentions their dreams, because Edgar doesn't have any, and feels bad about it. All he knows is he hated being in Lavender Town, and he wants to enjoy life. The best thing about life Edgar enjoys is the outdoors. He likes the scenery, and feeling relaxed. He feels cramped in very large cities, and is afraid of large groups of people. He's pretty friendly in small groups though, and the misses being around some company. He just wants to find a place he feels like he fits in, and find what his dream is. Profession: Currently just a Trainer, will change later to Berry Master. (Why doesn't he have a grass pokemon if he's going to be a berry master? Well you can't just laze around on the back of an Oddish all day, can you? :D) Talents: Edgar's pretty good at living off the land, enjoying the wanderer's life. He can tell what types of fruits and roots are edible and which are not. He's very creative, especially with his hands, making many tools with the little he has. His biggest talent is his ability at using berries. Inventory: A sleeping bag, a pocketknife, 3 energy powders, and a berry bag specifically for carrying the berries he often uses. The bag currently has 4 Sitrus Berries, and a Pecha Berry. Starter Pokemon: Onix- Named Gaia- lv 5- F Ability: Sturdy Moves: -Tackle -Harden -Bind -Curse Personality: Gaia is extremely curious pokemon, which often causes her trouble due to her massive size. She adores Edgar and doesn't mind him riding on her back. Biography: Edgar grew up in Lavender Town, close by the Radio Tower that was the cemetery. His family, when he was younger, worked in the cemetery. They often payed respect to the pokemon in that tower, and would often take Edgar along. The Ghastly in the tower often played tricks on Edgar, enjoying spooking him. Edgar hated going, despite his parents talking about how the pokemon's spirits would repay the respect he payed them. His mom loved Ghost pokemon, and liked the tower because of that. His parents threw a fit when the cemetery was torn down for the Radio Tower. Edgar was not too torn up about it, and celebrated the radio. He liked the happy tunes. Edgar always had a happy-go-lucky attitude, and hated how everyone in the whole city seemed to be depressed allthe time. Lavender town was not a place where Edgar could feel like he could just enjoy himself. To escape it, he often was found north of town on Route 10, climbing around on the rocks. One day his parents tried taking him to the Soul House where the graves had been moved, and he flat out refused, and went north to enjoy nature a bit, ending up around Rock Tunnel. He accidentally fell down a shaft of the cave and quickly became lost. After wandering for what seemed like hours he ran into an young Onix, who kept eyeing him. Edgar was afraid at first, but remembered his parents line about being respectful to pokemon and them remembering it. He offered the pokemon an Oran Berry, and asked the pokemon if it could show him where the exit was. The Onix eyed the berry for a minute, then looked back at Edgar before quickly snatching it. It nodded it's head, and took off. Edgar ran trying to keep up with the massive pokemon, before jumping on it's back. The Onix seemed surprised, and curious at the human on it's back, but continued all the same. At the entrance Edgar gave him the rest of the berries he had on him, before heading back home for the scolding of his life. He came back to the cave a few weeks later, to see if he could thank the Onix that saved him. He found her, and started a habit of visiting the Onix and giving her berries. Eventually he nicknamed the Onix Gaia, feeling weird just calling her Onix. It surprised Edgar's parents when his Onix started following him home. Edgar eventually decided he was tired of Lavender Town, and wanted to explore the world. He told his parents he wanted to leave. He lied to them and told them he wanted to become a great trainer, and became a champion. Really all he wanted to do was see the world, but he didn't think they'd let him do that. He officially bought a pokeball for Gaia, and started his journey. He initially went wherever Gaia would take him. During this time, he started studying the different berries of different areas. A few mishaps, and he started learning which ones would do what by watching the wild pokemon in the area. He started to feel guilty though that he wasn't becoming anything great like what he had said, and he started to head to Pallet town, the starting point of all great trainers. Even if he wasn't going to amount to much, he might as well give it a try. Notes/Other: *Edgar enjoys travelling by lazing around on the back of his Onix. *Edgar prefers keeping his pokemon outside their pokeballs whenever possible, even with a pokemon as massive as Onix. *Scared of ghost pokemon
@Ganryu You can be all kinds of stabby in real life if that's your perrogative, but I'd prefer if the character didn't try to shiv other PCs or NPCs at the drop of a hat. Doesn't make for good morale. Trust me. Most Pokemon is correct. I know a couple of potential starters already from the previous cast, and they include Zorua (not really pseudo since she's pretty weak) and Joltik, so yeah, feel free to roam.
Oh good, I was afraid I would get judged for a moment. Anyways, my info will be up by tonight. This looks like it'll pick up nicely, and if you've already had plots in the past, that makes me excited.
Oh, I could have a field day here. I think I may be interested. I"ll try getting a sheet up later. Hmmm. We can start out with most pokemon correct? Just not psuedo legendaries or legendaries, correct? The only question I have is what would be the most interesting pokemon to start out with? I'm thinking Voltorb will be the most fun.
Alright, midterms done for me, now I'm going to help stir the pot. We're about done with intros, Arc 1 is about to Start. Arc 1- 'Suspicion' Clans are becoming increasing suspicious of eachother following a strange string of murders that have affected nearly all the large clans, and caused nerviousness in the smaller ones. Each of the clans have various reactions. Many of the clans use this opportunity to declare war against their enemies, striking out at nearby towns, and clans. A small few of the wiser ones see that something is amiss, and think the conflict created by these murders was intentional. Who, or what, is driving these conflicts?
