Ryuunosuke Hikari-
The Crimson Phoenix of the Hidden Cloud

Ryuunosuke smirked as he arrived, directly behind the Raikage.

"Never thought I'd see the Raikage not paying attention to his back. Everyone will be gossiping."

It was a playful tease, he was sure Genmyou's blade had half a dozen jutsu at the ready, no matter where he came from. It was a game, a test of Ryuunosuke's smaller skills, such as appearing behind someone. He didn't have ninjutsu, only in ambushes and close quarters could Ryuunosuke keep being useful to the Cloud. His games were important to him.

Genmyou's question was met almost casually.

"Eh, the kidnappings are all outside annoyingly effective seals, and away from any big authorities. Someone might have some information of where your seals are. Hope you haven't been leaving them casually around, I'd hate to pick up after you.

ANyways, either they want to not deal with us at all picking a remote place, or they definitely want to deal with us, and are working hard to get our attention in a poor spot. On the first, a chunnin team would do. On the 2nd.... well, we don't know what we're dealing with. I see you already went through all this, and went sent out a higher team. Personally, I think it might be good to set up a 'kidnapping', and see how they take to it. I hope no hot-heads are out there. You know, hotheads who would walk into a trap, and then try to forcibly smash through it, those are always troublesome. Need to observe them, then deal justice."

Ryuunosuke made a jab at himself with bit about hotheads, it described how him and Genmyou had met. Ryuunosuke was a hothead who walked into a trap, and forcibly smashed his way through it. Genmyou had saved him.

Ryuunosuke then put his staff down, and looked a bit more serious.

"You already thought through all of that. Did you want to see if someone else was thinking the same thing?"

Ryuunosuke Hikaru
The Crimson Phoenix of the Hidden Cloud

Ryuunosuke quietly approached the Raikage's office, staring at it from the distance. He could just barely make out a few figures in it, 3 to be precise.

"On one hand, I should feel bad I'm late. On the other hand, I'm not sure he appreciates how long that would take. Ms. Mochizuki never shuts up. Let's see... Talking to the two. Based on his schedule, should be about those kidnappings... shouldn't there be 3 in there? Anyways, he's facing towards the cave opening then. Probably looking a bit up trying to be charismatic, from the bottom side is my best chance. Let's see if I can get him today."

Ryuunosuke then barreled forward towards a sheer cliff of the edge of the mountain he was ontop. Right before reaching it, he slammed his pole into the ground, polevaulting himself over it. He was seemingly flying through the air.

He landed to the side of the rock where the Kage's office was in an oddly gentle thud as his staff touched first. Taking a route through the bottom entrance to the cave system, he quietly and quickly moved through the caves, in a game to predict where the Raikage would be, and to end up behind him.

Arriving in the observatory, he spoke up.

"I was talking to Ms. Mochizuki. You know how she is. Better late than never though. What did you want me for?"
Agni walked away from the thermostat, looking out at the shadow cast over the office window.

He had hoped for peace for 5 seconds. Harime had other ideas she formed more ice shards than he could could count at an instant.

"No."

In a decisive moment, the butt his sword smashed the window and his other hand shot out. His zanpakuto whimpered. It had realized the seriousness after the repeated misses. It would bicker at Agni later.

Agni's mind returned to the ice that had expanded upon touching his ghostly flame. He was curious of something. If it expanded on something ethereal as his flames.... He fired at the incoming shards.

"Bakudo #37, Tsuriboshi."

A blue blob shot out his hand, before shooting out anchor points into nearby buildings, creating an extremely elastic net.

4 of the first 5 shards would rip through the elastic net, their trajectories changed however, slamming into random parts of the building. One was slammed into the thermostat, ruining it.

"Damnit."

Where the holes were, and where the one stopped shard lay, ice began form across the surface, creating a layer across the surface of it.

The next few, only 2 passed, the rest slamming against the freezing center, adding their ice to it, and stretching the legs of the kido. As more and more shards would slam into the net, only one more made it through. The rest would push more and more against the net. After the last shard would hit, the net at it's limit, it snapped back, flinging back towards Harime.

The legs snapped where they connected to the ice center, and send a giant ball of expanding ice flying back at Harime.

Agni grabbed his sword with both hands, ready for whatever Harime would throw back. His zanpakuto burned brightly in anticipation.

Agni groaned he saw two Harime's coming out the fire tornado, apparently hitting a 3rd inside. He needed to stop sending waves, he was using more reiatsu than he liked to no effect. His style was to at least burn someone before he went all out. Without a spark, there could be no fire.

One thing he did notice was the flames lapping at something as they passed in the air. There was something there beforehand. There wouldn't be now however. Whatever the flames hadn't touched would be sent into orbit anyways.

His hands were already close together. His zanpaktu whimpered, it's flame dying.

"How hard is it to spark this fire? Guess I need more kindle. Bakudō #21. Sekienton"

Knowing when to fold'em was the idea. His injuries feebled any zanjutsu he would have, and he didn't even want to try to feel lucky. He needed some time to build up a spell to hit so hard she couldn't defend. A red smoke screen blasted around him. Covering the area with smoke.

Inside the cloud, at the center, the smoke made contact with his flaming blade, the flame started to expand from the center outward, not being visible to anyone entering. Anyone who attacked where he was would find embers ontop of them, which would grow.

For the first time that fight he moved, using shunpo covered by the roof, heading to the only side without someone incoming. The fact he was using the Kido unchanted made it significantly smaller, it would only cover the rooftop, and nothing beyond.

Despite his quick movement, there was no exit cloud, and when the smoke faded(or rather burned up), he wouldn't be inside the cloud either.

He talked to himself, outside hearing distance.

"Humans, this may be your best invention ever."

He pressed an up button on a machine that read 50, pressing upward til it said 72.

Agni's flames spike from his sword, and he jerked his head to the side to avoid it.

"Yeah, yeah."

His zanpaktu 'playing' had set him on fire....several times. Everytime it bitched he ended up with that. His opponent had decided to get more serious, as espected. She didn't enter Bankai however.

"I see you dared to."

Following her shunpo as he twirled his hand, she moved above him. Watching her, it seemed her speed rivaled his.... almost exactly.

He held his sword slightly in front of the twirling sword aimed at her, and his twirling hand behind it stopping suddenly.

"Hado #58, Tenran"

A wide area tornado of wind fired upward at her.

However, an odd effect happened. As the winds passed the tip of the blade, they ignited, the flames attempting to eat the Reiryoku that composed the kido spell, but being unable to instantly consume it. The wide flaming tornado pushed upwards with high force... and with fire.

Agni sighed as he realized he going to be able to simply finish this off without drawing his blade. The young whipper-snapper... so smug. She deflected both his kido, though he wasn't that surprised. Just disappointed it would take a little more fire than that. One who played with fire was going to get burned. How ironic, it seemed like she had an ice-type one from his now frozen flame infront of her. She was still walking quietly, as if taunting at him to get serious. The chilled air was something he disliked. It taunted him with the fact that he didn't have much time. Her Reiatsu and influence was growing. He couldn't just fall behind, or he'd never catch up. He wondered how she would react to him going a step over?

He wondered if he was going to get a rise out of her with this. The smug little one, who was more than likely his complete equal. He held his blade infront of his mouth, whispering to it.

"Burn, Yūrei-en, no more for now"

Swiping his sword infront of him, his Reiatsu spiking, he screamed.

"BANKAI!"

Mid swing flames danced from it, blazing from the guard as it changed shape. The guard grew in sized, shifting up an angle of 30 degrees. The blade itself grew to be more like a scimitar, though with the flames dancing around it, it looked like a living flame itself.

The motion of the swing sent another arc at Harime. It was in truth a pecular flame. It did not care for flammability, it burned off of the Reiryoku of whatever it touched. It would spread as soon as it would touch anything made of Reiryoku.

"Come at me if you dare!"

Agni Ryuunosuke

Agni didn't have a reply to Harime. In part, he felt she was an enemy, both to him and to the Seireiti. Anyone who would be that willing to strike down an ally was no longer one. He had no banter for that. The main reason though was he was busy chanting.

He admitted he didn't know much about Harime, but he doubted she was wasting time. He supposed she was, like him, preparing an attack.

This battle, and he now knew it was that, would be determined by whose strike landed. So he struck.

Unsheathing his blade in an Iai fashion, he screamed the name of a kido.

"#33, Sokatsui!"

A wide arc of pale fire flew out the blade at Harime. Despite it's wide arc, it wasn't very concentrated. It was strong, Agni was competent in kido, but it wasn't a full strength spell. Deflecting it, or dodging to the side would be fairly easy.

It was not the kido he had been chanting. Silently, he unleashed the one he had been chanting. Behind the flame, his hand on his sheathe formed a rod within the sheathe, and threw forward. The rod multiplied by the dozens.

#62, Hyapporankan

The rods flew forward in an expanding angle. The weaker kido obscured the larger one, making it a surprise right behind should she dodge or attempt to deflect.

Harime was right about one thing, Agni was fond of kido. His zanpaktu was powerful, too strong for him to exercise much control on it. Kido gave him that control. He had played with fire too many times.

Agni's eyebrow raised to it's peak as she declared him an obstacle. Silently one hand grabbed the sheathe of his sword, his thumb against the guard.

"Leaves me with a problem. Do I send yours to your division, or the whorehouse?"

With that he began an incantation for a single spell under his breath, his other hand moving to his handle, putting him in an Iai stance as he chanted.

He watched Harime carefully. She wasn't a captain for no reason. He had experience, but she had raw talent.
Agni Ryuunosuke

Captain Ryuunosuke stood atop an office building, listening as the rules were explained. He couldn't leave unless Captain Harime was dead. On one hand, no one would blame him in this situation. On the other hand, she owed him 50.

He looked at Harime with a raised eyebrow with a face that was otherwise indifferent.

"Can't leave while my opponent's alive? Why on earth would I want to hurt this lovely young captain here? I vote for peace."

As he said that, under his breath he muttered as quickly as he could, a quickly little protection. And by protection, it was apt to do a grevious amount of damage should someone activate it. He was going to feel sorry if any harm came to his 50, but stopping harm to himself seemed more important.

"Flames of passion, rise up, burn those who trespass the God’s realm, #60, Kazan *cough, cough*"

Ever so slightly, kanji barely marked the rooftops, barely visible, like a shadow. He held the same expression, as if he was innocent and hadn't done anything at all. Agni waited to see what would happen, though his Zanpaktu voiced to him

'Great job on making peace, jackass'
