Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

<UNEQUIPPED - HEAD> Blessed White Yill Flower
System: Digbie

"No no NO NO NO-" Digbie ran after his Yill as soon as it left his hair and started it's gentle descent down the air and almost into the stream. Thankfully, it couldn't get very very far, and Digbie soon had it back in his hair once again.

<EQUIPPED - HEAD> Blessed White Yill Flower
System: Digbie

... the ensued chaos did remind Digbie of something that he had witnessed before, however. Like he had been trying to do earlier that day, Digbie remembered the wind was his guide towards redemption whenever he tried to figure out it without guidance. If anything, that served as a staunch reminder to go down that path to figure things out.

He nodded to himself as he looked at Torrent, who was really excited about what she had learned. Apparently she developed something that looked a lot closer to dragon breath than Digbie had ever expected her to develop, which was fascinating. Then again, she was a Lesserwurm, so developing dragon breath was only something that had to come down the road.

Still, this was an investment Digbie was curious about. If Torrent could do it, and if Oberon said that you could likely combine spells with some radiant energy from the environment and a spell that could take on it's elements... maybe Digbie could learn some Nature Magic on his way to where he was going next.

"Alright Torrent! Let's go!" Digbie cheered for her before he looked back at the base once again. He needed supplies, so getting SOMETHING to eat wouldn't be too bad. He ran inside the cave, grabbed a bit of the leftovers from the night before, and ran over to the stream to drink some water. With a slightly fuller belly and some water in his system, Digbie walked towards where the Yill was heading to.

"I-I'm going to go see if I can learn something in these woods. Something tells me that there's something lying beyond the trees this way." he announced his leave before setting foot in pursuits of his redemption. He knew he had to keep using Guidance to keep moving in the proper direction, but he figured that he could always use it to get back to base as well. It was meant to guide him, and it hopefully could.

... still, he looked up and kept tabs on where he was based on the position of the Sun, just in case he got lost with no way to go back.

"Alright Guidance, keep me on the right path. I'm coming for redemption."

As he walked, he figured he could also stand to try and learn how to Dual Cast. It wasn't like he had much to do while walking anyway.

He had Mana Orb, so he tried to cast that in his right hand while he held up his left and tried to figure out what to cast there. He eventually settled on Soil Manipulation, lifting a small clump of soil from the ground to use as his vessel. He didn't mold it into anything, he just tried to keep the two spells active as he took each and every step towards wherever Guidance was taking him.

"Yes. We were coming to get you so we could leave, since we figured it would likely be for the best if we did not stay near a town for... well... this reason."

You left, along with Stride and Digbie behind you and with Jen leading the way. As far as you could tell, Grox and his company were dead or kaput, but you did also seem to execute someone in the middle of the street, which sucked. Oddly enough, too, you noticed that his body seemed to disappear if you looked to glance back. What laid in it's wake was a small book, beaten to shit and probably older than you are.

Strange indeed.

When you got back to the wagon, things looked pretty normal. Charlie and Jen's Horse were tied to the front, and sitting at the front of the helm was Brock, waiting to drive the wagon forward. "... well it looks like you guys had a good time."

"Cut the shit, Sinclair." Stride was curt, his scarf back around his neck and his drool not leaking anymore. "I've gotta go get my bucket out of my realm of holdin'... too much fuckin' spit..."

Digbie simply shrugged as he followed Stride inside the wagon, Jen watching him warily as she wandered in behind him. You could just tell that Jen was using every ounce of restraint in her body to keep from trying to kill the Demiblin. Might be good to go chat with her.

... and of course, Eve flew down from above and proceeded to glomp your arm. "I saw the fight from here, and got Jen to go help you guys out! Are you okay?! Where did that orc hurt you?!"

"Hm. So maybe it's going to work a little different..." Digbie whispered to himself as he thought. The entire group was back at the base, and Ash had already decided to go back into the little hut the group had and wished to be undisturbed. Great, so asking her for any help making shorts was out of the question, since she kinda scared Digbie. Well... she didn't scare him, but he was definitely afraid that if he asked her a stupid question she'd berate him for thinking in a specific way. Torrent was probably busy trying to figure out new and interesting ways to explode enemies/herself. Oberon might've been willing to help, but Digbie wasn't sure about him either. He seemed to be interested in exploring fully what kinds of Magic exist in the world.

Digbie was, in a sense, alone again. Though, he didn't mind as bad this time. He stepped over to the edge of the camp, grabbing some of the foliage and carrying it back. He had thin and long blades of grass and a bunch of large leaves. With what he had, he needed to make some kind of garments to keep his loins safe from sunburn and the elements. He sat down by the edge, and calmly began to work on trying to make something for his abdomen. His goal was shorts, but if push came to shove he'd probably settle on making some kind of kilt or skirt. He didn't really care if it was all that defensive either, he just wanted SOMETHING to cover his glory.

As he tried to craft, he looked up to his White Yill. It was said to help others find out how to reach forgiveness, so he was hoping it could do the same for him. He took a deep breath, and asked the question in his mind, using his White Yill hopefully as a catalyst for his efforts. "To whoever can guide me on my path to redemption, what's the first step that I can take to rid myself of the Taboo?"

Okay I have three tips for any newcomers interested in making magic users in general and for Wisps specifically since you can't move if you're completely out of MP even if Levitation doesn't drain any MP.

  • 1 Learn Meditate or some other way to regain MP
  • 2 Learn Meditate or some other way to regain MP
  • 3 Don't get just magic skills, get some physical ones as backup

I fully second this, even as a goblin main. Earth Vein is fantastic and it's single-handedly probably made Digbie one of the most reliable characters IMO.

And don't be afraid to try and do some stupid shit on a leap of logic. It might pay off in the end. I used the first group's boss's skull as ammo for Stone Shot and managed to activate a skill synergy and kinda go Saitama on him. It didn't do a fantastic amount, but it did knock him right on his ass.

Alright! Skylar's team emerged victorious after quite the display from Paradise and JoJo, though the latter was currently acting a little Confused. After a quick shudder, JoJo had Teleported out of the way of the Smog that was incoming from that Koffing, but had exited Teleport with a bit of a dizzy head. Guess that's why he didn't teleport down from the roof of Silent Shrine.

JoJo climbed onto Paradise's back before Paradise nuzzled the little dude. He wasn't going to try and do much while he was confused, which was very likely for the best. Skylar patted the Ralts on the back. "Good work, buddy. Take a bit to rest and go help Paradise watch out for any... whoa!"

There it stood. Entei.

Everyone kind of stopped to ogle at the Legendary Pokemon. Skylar's Pokedex was pulled out to get a scan of the mighty beast, but when it didn't have a recorded picture in the dex, Skylar nodded solemly and took it upon himself to snap a photo of it looking at him. Seabreeze was staring at it from above, but figured it could go just back to it's other job of watching the Vulpix and helping with the birds because what in Ho-oh's name would try to steal a sheep from that and while that's around. (Though if anything did, Seabreeze would certainly spray them with water, save for actually spraying Entei.)

Everyone around could feel the power the beast was exerting. Skylar could hardly see it but he knew from the blurry mess of colors and heat that it was indeed Entei. One of the three legendary beasts that he learned about growing up, listening to bedtime stories about Ho-oh's legend. He was shaking in his boots, and Mac could certainly feel that, too.

Paradise looked down at Skylar, who glanced up at Paradise. He smiled at her before stepping slowly forward towards the Volcano Pokemon. His hands weren't up in the air, though the beast could certainly see that he didn't have a single Pokeball in his hands. Skylar wouldn't want to catch this beast, anyway. It's power just seemed so... so much for him to even bare witness to, let alone possess.

Though, maybe he could...

As Skylar got close, if the Entei didn't leave, Skylar was going to attempt to pet it softly on the mane. Keyword, attempt. If Entei was going to attack him or anything, Skylar would back away, but if it let Skylar pet it, then by all means he was going to.

"Entei... a-are the legends about you and Ho-oh true for Isson as well as Johto?" Skylar asked it.

(If Entei left quickly after a response, or left anytime before, everyone would get back to work until the Farmer came back. Entei can have the Mareep for all I care, because HOLY FRICK WHAT WOULD TELL AN ENTEI NO.)

As a Goblin main, to all you new players, I must say that being a Goblin is definitely a good choice despite the somewhat-limited start. If you haven't been keeping up with the IC, then to TLDR for you, Digbie's a goblin that managed to turn from a jack of all trades and master of none to a very nice support-cleric role.

I'm also not just advertising to try and get more goblins in the game. We've got more goblins than anything else right now, but if I did persuade you into choosing goblin, then hooray!

"Deal!" Skylar said, practically bouncing in his shoes. He was obviously ecstatic about getting a Torchic, and as soon as the Farmer handed him the new freshly hatched boy, he was easily overwhelmed with excitement. He brought the kiddo in for a hug before he turned to the rest of the team, holding up the newest addition to the family, much to everyone's excitement.

Skylar has obtained a Torchic!

"Welcome to the team... hm... Mac?" Skylar thought for a little on the name before he nodded silently, looking down at his new pal with a smile. "Yeah, Mac. I think that's a good name."

Skylar hugged Mac close to him as the rest of the party investigated the new friend. Honestly, the only one with a negative reaction to Mac was Celebrity, but even then it was just Celebrity being as sassy as usual. Paradise, notably, was very interested in the new friend. Probably had to do with Paradise basically being the "Mom" of the team, not that anyone minded.

After settling a little bit in with his new friend, Skylar and Co. got to work starting to defend the farm. Everything went about as well as it could, with everyone doing exactly what they had to do to keep the farm nice and maintained for the decent amount of time. Skylar was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a non-stop festival of heavy work throughout it all. There were definitely times where it got tense, but the team pulled through.

Then, a Murkrow heralded the entrance of Team Amethyst Grunt Guy, with his team in tow.

‘Sorry, mates… Client wants a Torchic, and this is, like, the only place to get one. Soooooooo…’
T.A.G.G.

Within what seemed like seconds, the guy's Barboach and Koffing acted by bringing on a Smokescreen and attempting to move in and snag a Torchic. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for a double battle, and Skylar figured that Paradise and JoJo might be the best for this fight, if anyone could do it. Koffing was the only scary part for Skylar, since it was a poison type, but even then JoJo could use Confusion to hit it with a strong attack.

"Seabreeze, double time and watch for Ekans and Poochyena for a moment! Celebrity, take care of the birds only for a little! Paradise and JoJo, we've gotta keep this guy from taking any Torchic!" Skylar called to his team members before he looked towards the Grunt with an annoyed expression, clutching Mac in his arms to make sure that Mac wasn't one of the Torchic that could be stolen. Within seconds, Paradise and JoJo were on the scene, and ready to fight to keep the farmer's Torchic safe.

"Paradise, Razor Leaf to hit the Barboach and Koffing! JoJo, Disarming Voice on the Barboach, too!" Skylar commanded his Pokemon eagerly, rushing over to the Torchic pen to stand between it and the Barboach before it could slide in and snag a Torchic.

Hey look it's a post.

Fun fact, the best way to get my attention on Guild is to @ me in an OOC thread. Otherwise I will not participate in any OOC discussions.
The bells sounded.

"Hm?" Ursaren's head perked up, his attention to his alchemy suddenly halting for a few moments. Normally bells meant one of two things, which were either a big event that was being conducted like a temple gathering, or something was very wrong. Ursaren figured the former wasn't the case, since he'd not seen a temple in this village, nor a chapel or steeple to identify. If there was any such place he'd likely have spent his time there instead. His suspicions were confirmed by one of the people he was treating.

"The warning bell? W-what's going on, dear Priest?"

Ursaren stood from his chair before looking out the doorway to the rest of the hamlet, grunting to himself before he glanced back inside the room. "Trouble, no doubt. Rest easy, everyone. I'll be back soon."

As soon as Ursaren stepped outside of the building, he waved over the nearest few guards that he could. As soon as they arrived, Ursaren gave them an order. "Stay here and make sure whatever's attacking doesn't get to any of these people."

"What? When did we start taking orders from you?"

"Trust me, you'll be far safer here than up there. That, and I'm far more suited to fighting then I might let on."

The guardsmen were skeptical, but they nodded solemnly as they took up post. Ursaren, meanwhile, had begun his run towards the tavern. His shield was strapped along his back, and for an old man the Priest of Maestus could certainly move quickly. It was probably the kind of blood that coursed through his veins that kept him going as fast as he did. It was only a matter of around thirty seconds before the old man burst through the doors of the tavern and looked to his comrades, all gallivanting around a table.

"We've got trouble. Likely the Rogs from the other day finding our trail and chasing us." Ursaren stepped over to the table. "I'm afraid the drinking and socializing will have to be put on hold. From the sounds of it out there, it's not a small scale horde." Ursaren explained. Truth be told, he didn't care if it was a small horde or a large army, he wasn't going to let innocent people die from this mayhem.

"Do you think the townsfolk would attempt to harm me if I let him out?" Ursaren asked to his companions. Hopefully they'd catch the emphasis and know what Ursaren was talking about. The last thing the party needed was a bunch of town guards and watchmen assaulting a bear that just wanted to help defend everyone.

Mastar darted back towards the other two girls as soon as she could. The dodges that she had just made were way too close for comfort, and she wasn't about to get fried by the blasts from either Manifold or from these Nazis. She couldn't fight them head on, meaning her strategy of standing on top of the other tanks to try and get them to blast eachother wouldn't work. Time to change things up a little bit.

She couldn't keep dodging the attacks that were sent her way, but she could try and obstruct the path for the tanks. Now that she could grow without issue, the new plan was to do exactly that - grow amidst the grass before launching a ton of tar towards the road that the tanks were taking. Sure, it was a dirt road, but if she sent enough of her tar onto it then there'd still be a similar effect to what she was trying to do, which was make an oil slick. If the tanks drove over that, they'd either have to stop or they'd risk spinning out of control.

Mastar themself, meanwhile, kept darting back towards Manifold since Arson had moved in. As soon as they could, they shifted back into their more humanoid form as they looked over at the tinker. "I tried to make an oil slick. Probably chunked around thirty-ish pounds off me. Any ideas?" they asked, still looking at the tanks so they could stay out of the way of the barrel that might fire on them.

Aesthetic heard the whir of helicopter blades and turned to face the source, seeing some Final Guard Members entering the scene finally. It had certainly taken them a hot minute to actually arrive, but hopefully now that they were there situations would be a little less hectic. There were already a bunch of capes on the scene, which easily didn't help what was going on. That being said, nobody seemed to want to make the first move, which was undoubtedly a good idea. Everyone was waiting for the Guard to make the first move, since this was really their battle to fight. Aesthetic was mainly there for support if the situation escalated to that point, though she was still a little foggy on whether her power burned people all the time or just when she wanted them to be burnt. With how she could express it, she figured the latter was applicable.

She stepped over to the side of the building, stretching a little bit before crouching down besides the ledge. There wasn't any need to stand if she was waiting, unless she wanted to be ready. Even then, she would've had to descend down the side of building first before she could join, not that she couldn't go down fast or anything. She can technically stretch her limbs to gain about thirty more meters between her hands and feet. If the guard needed her, she'd join, but until then...

"I dunno if the Guard people down there can hear me or anything, but if you need my powers for your help, you've only but to ask." She was genuinely unsure, though she did hope someone down there had a power that gave them observational abilities to hear her with.
