First you post an interest check. Then you get a whole slew of PMs from people who are interested. Then you weed them out according to who you think you'd work with and who doesn't seem up to par with your standards. After that, you're left with maybe...a hand full of stories at best. So then you go back to the interest check and you cast your net again in order to rally up some more RPs. People leave RPs, people ignore you, and over time, you lose even the stories you have. Repeat process.

Alright, mini rant over. Let's get to business!
I am "casting my net" again, so to speak. I have about three stories actually going at this point and I'm looking for a little more. I recently was very busy and have apologized for my lack of timely response to those I have been RPing with/planning RPs with. Now things seem to have settled, but we shall see how long that lasts! I used to say I could guarantee a post a day from yours truly, but that would be a lie at this point in time. I will tell you that I will do my absolute best to at least get you a post a few times a week. This will especially apply if our RP happens to lean more on the advanced side with long posts. If we decided to go a little more for the casual, I could probably do almost daily, every other day at best. I will update my signature as a status for how busy I am so you will know the reasons why you haven't seen a post in a few days, if that is the case.
That said, let's move on to what you're really interested in here, shall we? You want to know what genres I do, what kind of characters I play, what are my limits, what do I expect, so on and so forth, right? Well, allow me to enlighten you!
Genres: I'm pretty open to just about anything. I greatly enjoy fantasy, science fiction, science fantasy, supernatural (with the exception of the teen drama crap), distopian, post-apocalyptic (doesn't always have to be zombies), and anything else that has a sort of other-worldly spin. I am not entirely the biggest fan of slice of life or real life role plays. I write to escape reality. Writing mundane, modern reality kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
Characters: I write both female and male characters. I am female myself, but I have certainly written the male character plenty of times and, in all honesty, it doesn't bother me too terribly much. Sometimes I even find myself enjoying writing my male characters more than my female characters. THAT SAID, don't just throw your female characters at me for romantic purposes. Just forget that. If it happens and I feel its a natural development of the story, so be it, but I will not be put into the position of being used for your own personal agenda of writing a romantic story because you found someone who doesn't mind writing a male character. There is nothing wrong with a strictly platonic relationship between our characters, though I know most people probably aren't looking for that. Personality wise...my characters range greatly in that area, so you'll just have to find out for yourself what they're like!
Limits: I have virtually none. I am perfectly find with mature/18+ content. I don't fade-to-black, so you need to tell me if you do so I know.
What do I expect: Someone who knows how to write detail and depth as well as use the English language in mostly correct form. A mistake here and there? No big deal. However, I need to at least be able to read your post. I will first judge you by how you write your response to this interest check, so understand that I will not take you seriously if you write badly in OOC talk. I also want someone who is open minded/won't be offended easily. I am a very honest person and, unfortunately, that means I can be very blunt. It may come off as rude from time to time, not that that is my intention. I'm a pretty nice person and easy to get along with, but I won't sugar coat how I feel about certain things. I also please ask that you give me a heads up if you are no longer interested in the plot and/or RPing with me. I promise I won't take it personally. I understand that things happen. Sometimes you get stuck in the story and just can't get into it. Sometimes two peoples writing styles just don't mesh or there is no conceivable way our characters would really adventure together/even be around each other. It happens. We can start anew or just scrap it and go our separate ways. Just don't leave me hanging and I will try my darnedest not to do the same to you!
I think...that about covers it. Things like don't control my character's actions/dialogue, don't god mode, and don't just reiterate what I wrote really should just go without saying, but there, I threw them out there anyway! Oh...I guess that means I should also tell you...I only RP through PMs. Just easier to keep up with/don't have to worry about the content and nature of the story.
