This is exactly my kind of thing.
Well, looks like it's time for Lili to get her diplomacy on.
"Oh, I'm not much of one for political concerns. I see no reason to force separate kingdoms together, though; it would only cause the fighting to move inside the palaces. Better to keep the violence on the battlefield where it belongs."

It was true that politics bored her, but only those that took place within a kingdom's borders. In truth, she hoped the kingdoms would remain separate so that there would be grand battles between them instead of petty arguments in committees.

"Besides, the lands each have such unique heritage and unification would..."

She trailed off as Obelix made his grand entrance and announcement.

Well. That man looks like a ruler. "Do excuse me for a moment, Nicholas. I'll see to our new arrival and be back in but a moment."

Lili broke away from him and approached the foreigner, curtsying deeply as she did.

"Please, allow me to welcome you to Freyea, Your Highness, and apologize for our unpreparedness. I am Lady Lili Aria of the house of Adelin, and it would be my pleasure to escort you to an audience with our king. Alas, His Majesty is indisposed at the moment, but for now we will gladly have someone collect your belongings, and offer you and your men some rest and refreshment."
"Uuuugh, I did not get nearly enough sleep... and this is not my motel room. What the fuck?"

Katya pulled herself up quickly, looking around the minimal room, raising a hand to the pentacle necklace she wore for good luck. As she did, she felt an unfamiliar weight around her neck and raised her hand to the collar she found there.

"This isn't my collar either... something's seriously off here. Still, I've woken up in stranger places."

She slid off the bed and made her way over to the door panel. She reached out to touch it, but then hesitated and pressed her ear to the door instead, listening for sounds from outside.

Best see if anyone else is here. I don't want to walk out into a mob of crackhead gangsters or something.
Hm... And what a delightful sister he has.

Lili returned Violette's curtsy and turned to Nicholas with a gentle smile on her lips. He seemed even more nervous now that they were face to face, but putting him at ease would be a simple task for one as experienced in grace and etiquette as she was.

"The pleasure is all mine, dear prince. And how are you liking Freyea thus far? I know it could hardly be any more different from your homeland, but we have made every effort to ensure your comfort here."

Even as she spoke to him, though, Lili watched Princess Ares from the corner of her eye. It was hard not to simply turn away and stare at Erendale's princess; after all, her confident bearing and rough dress made her resemble a warrior more than a socialite... something Lili had always wished to be.
Lili watched from a balcony as everyone filed out into the courtyard. She'd planned on being fashionably late to the meeting, but it seemed that the royal children were relocating, and so her lateness now afforded her a chance to look over the familiar and not-so-familiar faces.

There was Prince Liam, of course, the person she'd seen the most during her days at court. Next to him was... Crux? No, Crix. Prince of Paplia, if she remembered correctly. She'd never quite gotten to speak to him, despite having been to Paplia's capital thrice.

Then there was... him. Nicholas Moran, her betrothed from this day on. He was the only one that Lili had never seen in person, only knowing his face from a portrait. She looked him over curiously, taking in his movements and expressions.

Well... he's not bad to look at. I was worried the portrait might have been designed to flatter, but... No, the only difference was in his face. The Nicholas in the portrait looked much like every other royal who'd been sitting in one place for hours, but out here he seems far gentler, almost nervous. He's certainly looking around as if there were a wolf among the crowd.

She shrugged, and headed for the stairs to join the group. No sense making them wait.

It's the Underdark; I'd be pretty shocked if they weren't.
Of course, I was just letting everyone know I hadn't dropped out.
Interested, though not very familiar with SMT outside of Persona. I've done a bit of reading but haven't played most of the games.
Also on eastern time. Also, I'm waiting until people get outside the palace to join IC, Aeola isn't fond of the indoors.
