The Internal
Brief Psychological Profile: Megan is a classic troubled youth in many respects. She seeks out thrills without regard to the harm they may cause herself, and engages in unhealthy habits rather than confronting her issues. Despite this, she functions quite well in most respects, maintaining good social relationships and academic performance. Something in her seems to tell her when a line can't be crossed.
Mental Disabilities: Bipolar disorder (untreated), early-stage alcoholism
Likes: Spicy food, pop-punk, metal of all stripes, poetry, adrenaline, mythology
Dislikes: Winter, video games, elitists
Fears & Phobias: Driving, hospitals, being trapped
Trauma: Father was severely alcoholic, causing him to die in a car accident when Megan was ten years old. She prefers to blame the weather and the other driver rather than the fact he was heading home from his favorite bar.
Secrets: She's deep in the closet, despite [REDACTED].
Hobbies: Rollerblading, bass guitar, songwriting, tabletop RPGs (though she keeps that one quiet)
Outlook on Life: Cheerfully nihilistic; she feels that life holds no inherent meaning, but that just means there's no reason to worry about achieving something big. Just do what you want and enjoy it, as long as you aren't hurting other people.
Would they return a shopping trolley if nobody was around to see them do it?: Yes, except on really cold days.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how strong is their Faith in others?: 4. She's been let down by her family, and has a difficult time believing anyone is as good as they seem.

Would they ever resort to cannibalism in a desperate situation?: Yes, but not if it meant killing the victim.
Would they ever resort to cannibalism in a non-desperate situation?: No.

Why?: [REDACTED]. She also believes in things that most definitely count as heretical.
If the world ended, or was about to end, what would they do?: Try and find her faith again.
Would they like to be a Hero?: Yes, but she doesn't feel like that's a real possibility.

The Past and Future
Brief Biography: Megan was born to a fairly typical working-class family for her area; her father worked on the docks and her mother waited tables at a local restaurant. She has one older brother, Michael, who was born four years ahead of her. Her early life was fairly uneventful, but that changed one snowy night in January when a police officer showed up at the door bearing the worst news. Her father had been driving home from a nearby bar, drifted off the road, jumped a snowbank, and wrapped the car around a tree.
Life changed for the worse almost immediately. Without their father's union job, her mother had to take another in the daytime, leaving Michael and Megan to look after each other and the house almost all the time. Michael took the loss harder than his sister did, and began acting out, skipping school and getting into trouble on a weekly basis. Their mother tried to get him back on the right track, but having to divide her time between two jobs and two kids meant that one thing or another would be getting the short straw, and that thing was Megan. She spent a lot of time at home alone with her thoughts, and one way she'd filled that time was by listening to her dad's music collection and learning to play along to the rhythm on his old bass. Her dad had been a big fan of classic metal, and hearing the voices of gloom and anger helped her through her own emotions, of which gloom and anger were becoming dominant.
When Michael dropped out and left home on his 18th birthday, things changed for Megan. Her mother, determined not to make the same mistakes twice, focused much more on Megan and ensuring that she kept her grades up. While Megan did manage her schooling quite well, nothing she did was quite enough, and she began to understand her brother's drive to rebel. As the days of high school dragged on, she began listening to that drive more often, getting away with petty crimes while keeping up the veneer of an honors student. When she graduated, she had a few scholarship offers, but she found Blackmoore most enticing due to its good reputation in several fields (she had no idea what to major in) and its location, not too close to home but not on the other end of the country either.
Once at the school, Megan finally felt free to be herself for the most part, but still felt the frequent urge to do something wild. She tended to keep herself busy outside classes, either with music, parties, or the Occult Club. She wasn't exactly the type to immerse herself in the supernatural, but she'd been the first to actually respond to the flyer, it turned out to be an interesting bunch to hang out with, and she was intrigued by the idea of possibly discovering the truth behind some of her stranger experiences, especially things she'd seen since moving to Blackharbour.
If your character could live a perfect life, what would that life be?: Party non-stop in some big city. Probably in Europe.

Blood Bonds
What is your character's relationship like with their immediate family?: Generally distant. Her mother withdrew emotionally after her father's death, and she doesn't like the person her older brother has become.
How many friends does your character feel as if they have?: Just a couple. She gets on well enough with most people, but only considers someone a friend of they've seen her bad side and choose to stick around.
What's your character's relationship with the town of Blackharbour?: Fairly neutral. She enjoys the atmosphere, but to her it's mostly a place to go to school.

The Supernatural
Has your character ever seen ghosts or worse?: She thinks so. Just one ghost, but she's seen it several times. The only reason she doubts it is because she's only seen it when she's seriously sloshed.
Does your character believe in the supernatural?: Yes. She figures that there are quite a few things the Church doesn't want people to know about, and they fascinate her.
Has your character ever been to Blackharbour's Lighthouse?: Once as a freshman, as part of sorority initiation. She was made to spend the night there with other pledges, and attributes any strangeness she saw or heard to the sisters hazing them.
Has your character ever eaten any Blackshells? If so, how often?: Absolutely not, and she wouldn't unless she was dying of starvation.
Does your character have any psychic abilities? If so, please describe them: [REDACTED]
Has your character ever seen someone jump from the Leap of Faith?: No.
Has your character ever gone to jump from the Leap of Faith?: Yes, alone, but backed down.
Has your character ever seen the ghost of Old Rowan?: No.
- Chapter VII -
The Occult Club
What was your character's relationship with the Leader?: She considers him a real friend. Someone who saw the worst of her and didn't even blink.
What do they remember the Leader's name as?: Spookyboy. (Or Victor, but she hasn't called him that in ages.)
When did they last see the Leader?: At around 9 pm on the day of his disappearance. [REDACTED]
What is your character's relationship with X?: TBD
