Jett cringed and looked at her with a forced slight smile. "No, definitely not... Well, I mean I'm sure she wouldn't have... That is, if I were to have... told her...." he gradually trailed off until his words became an ashamed mumble.

Both of Li's eyebrows shot up and she sat up straight. "Wait... You didn't tell her? Oh my god dude. You, sir, are a first class jackass." Li chuckled slightly in amazement. "Did you at least send an 'I'm not dead' postcard at some point?"

Jett laughed out loud at her claims and shook his head slowly. "I don't know if I'd go that far," he chuckled. He sighed and shook his head slightly, and when he looked back up at her he went on, "I was in a pretty serious with Sacha when I left." He winced. Gosh, it does sound pretty bad when you just put it like that, he admitted. "So you can imagine that she wasn't the warmest host when I arrived."

Li winced in sympathy. "Ah, it's all becoming clear now. I'm sure she didn't roll out the red carpet for your arrival. Probably skimped you on your welcome basket of muffins too." She grinned at her own joke before continuing. "By the chilly reception, I'm guessing she didn't take it well when you told her you were leaving?"

Jett chuckled, "Exactly." He shifted to become comfortable against the tree. "I was a Rabin fighter two years ago, but I left the group to go explore the real world a bit." He paused, frowning, and went on, "Turns out, the real world isn't so great. I came back to the forest looking for a place to call home for a little bit... but I wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms," he shrugged.

After realizing, she'll be here a moment, Li takes a seat on the ground next to him. "Yeah. The real world sucks ass. Now camping and border disputes... That's where it's at." She stretched her legs out in front of her and leans back on her hands. "Don't get me wrong, you look positively despicable and are probably some sort of serial killer in your free time, but you don't seem like you should be shunned on sight. What'd you do to get the cold shoulder?"

Jett inspected the newcomer, and nodded in response to her question. "Well, I did just arrive here, yeah," he replied, but went on hesitantly, "I'm not exactly a new group member though." He paused, debating whether or not it was a smart idea to share his situation with every Rabin he talked to; he wasn't even so sure she cared.

"Oh?" Li raised an eyebrow. "Ooh... Mysterious." She tried to maintain a straight face and not reveal her interest. "New here, but not really new here." She paused, waiting to see if he would elaborate.

Jett noticed the girl and squinted against the sunlight behind her. He tried to shade his eyes, noticing that she was approaching him. He didn't offer a greeting, hoping that maybe she wasn't interested in interacting with him, and he wouldn't need to further infuriate Sacha by blatantly disregarding her instructions. After thinking about it for a moment, he snorted and realized he didn't care whatsoever.

Li shoved her hands in the pockets of her jeans as she walked and stopped once she had reached her target. She noticed he didn't seem eager to chat, but decided to ignore it. She glanced down at him for a moment before speaking. "I don't believe we've met. Are you a new arrival?"
Li ducked out of her tent and stood for a moment, surveying the camp around her. She cocked an eyebrow when her eyes landed on Jett. Hmm.. Who's that guy? Even though she was relatively new to the camp, she was almost certain she hadn't seen him before. She stretched for a moment before walking towards Jett, driven by curiosity and a need to break the monotonous boredom in which she'd spent her morning.

(Sorry if I'm semi-sporadic. My internet is being difficult)

Hey Jay! Long time no see!
Name of character: Li
Your name: Used to be Ivy on the old forums
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'10 with a lithe build, shoulder length brown hair, and green eyes. She has a small scar above her left eye
Personality: Li is sarcastic and enjoys nothing more than pissing someone off. She tries to appear confident and aloof but this is a facade. In reality, she's rather insecure about making any mistakes and is likely to lash out at anyone who sees her in a state of vulnerability. She's stubborn and brash but cares deeply for those she counts as friends though she tries not to show it. Li is often quick to anger but is very loyal and willing to fight for what she believes is right. She is very practical and willing to do what she believes needs to be done in order for her success or the success of the Rabins. Li is independent and can take care of herself but does not like to be alone, regardless of how she may push people away.
Rank: Fighter
Group: Rabin
Animal: A gray wolf
Weapon and fighting style: A sword. Li is cocky when it comes to her swordsmanship and this often leads to her becoming careless in a fight and allows her to make simple mistakes
