History

 The nation of Stross lived in a long peace, Worshiping the Three gods. The bickering of the gods however cast down into the world of man. The Dark god of death, decay, and corruption twisted his worshipers, turning them into powerful creatures that feed on the blood of man. The most faithful turned into the Vampire Lords. In retaliation the god of the sun, light and vitality turned his light against the Vampires, burning them and turning them to ash if they touch his light. The goddess of the  Moon, hunt, and rejuvenation took her hunters and gave them the powers of the wolf. Together, the Wolves of the moon, Mages of the sun, and their Paladins fought against the Vampire lords.  This was the first great war. Fought hundreds of years ago. 

      Defeated the Vampires retreated to the desolate lands to the west, forming there own nation. After this Stross banned all worship of the Dark God, a special sect of the Church of the sun formed to hunt down and rout out any worshipers of the Dark God, the Inquisition was born. Those of the Crystal, returned to the Isle of the sun. A fortress Island with the great Crystal forest in the center. During the day this forest gathers the power of the sun, and feed it to the mages that wear these crystals allowing them to preform the Will of the sun. The Wolves Returned to there great forest of the north,  though some chose to stay in Stross.

    As the years went on the nothing was heard from the Vampires, but that did not mean they were Idle. They found a way to curse the wolves. As generations passed, the wolves could no longer control the change, nor themselves. All but the strongest bloodlines were affected. This led to Stross hunting down the wolves, many of them fleeing to the north. In retaliation the Northern Tribes attacked and raided The borders of Stross, and the Wolf war began. 

   Though fast and strong, the wolves were much fewer in numbers then what is now calling themselves, The Empire of Stross. Many of the Alpha Bloodlines were lost, with out these bloodlines the wolves were losing control, no longer able to change at will, slaved to the moon. The war soon pushed them north, and they retreated into the far northern mountains where it is much to hostile for man to travel. But the great forest was now under control of Stross. 

   The sun is the only god to be worshiped now, the moon outlawed because of her connection to the wolves. The blood of the wolf is still in the empire, laying dormant from the time that the wolves lived with in the Empire. Now seen as a curse, triggered only after killing a human. These wolves are now also under the charter of the Inquisition. The Empire even turned there back on the sun, believing that the only god was the god of man. The emperor a symbol of divine will. Thought those of the crystal Isle were tolerated, any worshipers of the sun were also hunted down and  the island fortress turned it's back on the empire. Now the Empire stands alone, and the Vampire lords begin to stir.  [/Hider]

The world

The Empire is a striving beacon of man. They have built a long lasting Civilization with a strong infrastructure as they build high monuments to there might. They Fallow the Church of man, a church that worships the Emperor as a god, and the Inquisition is the Enforcement of his will, fanatical people sent to find any heresy against the church and have nearly unlimited power. Inquisitors having the right to anything they need. Magic has been all but abolished and using it has become a crime of Heresy. With a large standing Army as well any able man is able to be drafted into the army as well as every man as the right to fight for the Glory of the Emperor

The mages of the Crystal Isle receive power from shards of the crystal forest. Many wearing them as necklaces, rings or even embedding them into there bodies. The entire Island is a massive fortress monastery, believed to of been built by the sun good themselves. They are a highly disciplined people, powerful as well. But The god of the sun doesn't allow them to kill any living creature, as he granted them power to deal with the vampires. Because of this the order of the Paladins was formed. A sect that protect the mages. The Mages bond with a Paladins, linking them together allowing them to fight as one as the Mages can channel their own power into their bonded Paladin. This bond allows them to communicate telepathically, it even gives them insights into each other. Allowing the Paladin's and mage to fight as one.

The wolf tribes were once great hunters who worshipped the moon and lived in what was known as The great forest. When the Vampires were first made, the Moon made soldiers of her own. Allowing her worshipers to take on hybrid forms of wolf and man. The chiefs of the tribes were turned into Alphas, stronger and faster then their Betas. Even in human form the wolves are strong and fast, even retaining some of the heightened senses. Though they are weakened greatly after the Wolf War. Most of the Alphas gone, only a few remaining. They live deep north where the conditions are to much for normal man.

To the west of the Empire is the Nation of the Vampire Lords. A dark and desolate land, the mark of decay and corruption stain the land. Much of it one massive bog. Rotting and corrupt, human live here, slaves to the vampires that sand in there great castles. Though even in death many of the humans are not free as there souls bound to there own rotting corpses.

Now for plot!!

   So the basic plot I have so far. A small town to the north, just along the edge of the great forest. For awhile there were rumors that a wolf was still living in the forest. Though the inquisition has been sent several times nothing was ever found. Though many thought the wolf was there, it had never attacked and seemed to only been seen in brief encounters before it would run deeper into the forest. Anytime a hunter would go missing "The wolf was to blame" but there was never any real evidence. Because of this however there was always an Inquisitor residing in the town. One day two men and woman came to the town. Simple travelers. The Iquisitor soon learned that they were From the Crystal Island, a mage and her Paladin as well as an un-bonded paladin. Searching for one of there own who believed to live in the town, soon soldiers came into the town to arrest them, only they fought back.

   So, off the bat, need two paladins, a mage, and a girl who doesn't know she is a mage yet! Other then that, could be a farmer, a mercenary, soldier, inquisitor. Will get more in depth with plot if this gets enough interest!
