Man, this is way more fleshed out and realistic than normal WiR with just dice. Great job. Although I have a question; this determines mostly time, but turns and updates will be, basically, yearly (or, if we stick to an old formula, bianually). Given this, would weeks be taken into account accurately?
I mean, take this as an example: A attacks B from Nothing-Town Garrison. It takes him four weeks to get his troops there. The update is bianual or yearly, so, we see the results of a slight advantage in time, in the final battle report. I'm not saying formulas are bad, it's just that they probably shouldn't be used with time, given that it doesn't reflect in a really expressive manner in the final results.
So I propose this: have a larger effect of time on the battles. Technically, it is sticking a lot to realism; a day of preparations and digging in can be a game changing time. Integrating it all together makes the formulas have a lot more weight.
Also, another question, and sorry for bothering you a lot, but are victories also going to be handled mostly by mathematical formulas? I get that it's accurate, but it may not allow for those random things that happen in war; like a defense of 1 man for every hundred holding for months. I guess I'm just making assumptions here and we still have some element of randomness involved; sorry if we do, and I'm just being bothersome.
Again, great job. I am really looking forward to this. The effort you guys have put into this is impressive.
