Questions on character building. Must I build a human? No characters along the lines of Anaak, Rak, Pickles (REVOLUTION!), or that weird bug alien guy?

@Goblinesque Actually, I changed my mind. I'll probably use the same setting for the tower and system; basically the structural aspects of the tower. I'll just rename some things to make myself feel creative.

Well don't feel like you have to change things on my account, but I think it will streamline your writing. You don't have to dream up new connections between factions, or new ranking systems, and now you can run it as a prequel (preferably) or sequel (less so because it hasn't finished yet) to the main continuities events. (Which I think would be a good idea, as you can have characters make surprise appearances).

If you think that your writing skills are good enough that you don't need ToG's story as a backbone don't let me stop your creativity. I'm in either way.

Consider my interest piqued. I marathoned all of ToG about a month back so I am in big time. Best comic I've read in a while.

Are you set on operating solely with the comic as inspiration or would you be willing to stick it in the world? Because I fell in love with the atmosphere it built and would love to explore it with some others.

Hey guys, fresh meat incoming.

New to this forum, but not forum RP. Pretty extensive experience with tabletop RPG.

If anyone has any plugs they'd like to make to new players for casual 1-3 response per week RPs hit me with them. I prefer superhuman/superhero/post-apoc/urban fantasy settings. Typically I lean combat heavy on my preference, but I am a strong writer outside of it aswell.
