Autumn watched in confusion as the boy disappeared back behind the tree once more. What was he doing? Was he really trying to hide after she had already spotted him? Or had she simply startled him by turning around suddenly and speaking to him? Autumn continued to stand there staring at the tree in bewilderment. After a while the boy seemed to make a decision and step out from behind the tree fully. She immediately noticed how tall he was. Well, he was probably short to some people but to her, at her minuscule four feet and eight inches he was still a good six inches taller than her. She watched as he came closer, taking note of how...expressionless his expression seemed to be. Was he okay? Was he wary of strangers? What was he doing in the forest? Looking for the Wizard as well perhaps? She then wondered his reason for wanting to search the Wizard out. "U-Ummm....A-Are you l-looking for the Wizard as w-well?"

Izumi's head quickly dropped. He was shy around new people. Izumi wasn't really sure who this person was and it gave him a sense of being uncomfortable while she was in his presence. The girl was noticeably smaller than him, but not by an awful lot. Izumi was rather short for a male. He quickly looked up when she mentioned the wizard. "Yes... Yes I am..." His expression brightened a little bit when he learned he wasn't the only one. "Are... A-Are we the only ones?"

Autumn paused in her trek through the undergrowth. She didn't know what it was that made her halt but it was just....something. She took in her surroundings. The leafs were still, no breeze to rustle them. Dappled sunlight fell through the foliage, heating the top of her head and causing a trickle of sweat to spill off her brow. She frowned as she listened. Yes, that's what it was; a twig had been snapped. But it could have been an animal moseying through the forest. No, what really unsettled her, what made the hairs on the back of he neck stand up was the feeling of something watching her from somewhere in the trees. She slowly turned and almost jumped a foot in the air upon seeing a head poking around the tree gazing at her. Her single visible eye widened as she took in his appearance. He had white hair and silver eyes from what she could see. She stood there awkwardly staring at him, torn between running or speaking to him. After a few moments she managed to contain the strong urge to flee and managed to stammer out a single word. "H-Hello."

Izumi watched her every move. When she paused, he already knew he was caught. He stared at her as she spun around in a slow motion. Whoops! I didn't mean to scare her. Izumi took in her facial features. Her long blonde hair, her large blue eye, the other being covered for some odd reason. One thing he noticed was that she was rather short as well. After a few moments of awkwardly staring at the girl he snapped back behind the tree. It was like he waited for her to come a bit closer, but he realized after some time went by that there was no point in hiding. Izumi slowly walked from behind the tree, he let his arms sit rather loosely by his sides after he wiped a few locks of hair from his eyes with his right hand again. He didn't give off an emotion. One single word was able to escape from his thing lips. "Hi..."

Autumn yelped as she tripped over another rock, tumbling to the ground for what seemed like the hundredth time. Not one to be praised for her grace, Autumn was clumsy enough as it was; always managing to trip over her own feet. When roots and other obstacles are added then it is a recipe for disaster. It also didn't help that she only had one properly working eye; the left eye being covered by a patch. The girl sighed as she picked herself up off the ground and examined herself. The trousers she had donned for the traipse through the jungle were dirt-streaked and torn at the knees. Her knees themselves were scratched and torn, the bleeding growing for steady the more and more she fell. Her elbows had fared a little better though some skin had been scraped from the left one. The girl sighed once more and tried to brush off as much dirt as she could before continuing forward. One would think she would have given up the whole ordeal and gone home but she couldn't. It had her mothers dying wish that she follow her dream and that was exactly what she was going to do.

Izumi quickly caught himself on a large, oak tree's trunk. "Curse nature and its giant roots." He put himself back on track and continued walking in the thick woodlands. I can almost guarantee that I am not the only looking for this guy. Izumi stopped for a moment to catch his breath. He never had to travel this far before. He was on the other side of town. Izumi wiped a few locks of his long, grayish hair out of his face. He began to move forward again but was stopped by a noise. Izumi took a few more steps, snapping a twig before stopping behind another large oak tree. He poked his head into the open. It was another person. A girl, who seemed to have struggled her way through the woods as well. The terrain was a tad tough and it could get aggravating if you were tripping every which way. He noticed a patch over the girls left eye. Maybe she knows where she is going. I'll just follow her.

Appearance

Jasper stands at 5'7" and he has a slim yet muscular build. He has golden eyes and a square chin. His face, however, can give off a soft and innocent look. He has black hair that is just above shoulder length. Jasper bears scars of all sizes. One of his many scars happen to cover the left side of his chest. It travels down his left arm and covers his hand as well. He always wears a brown, leather glove and long-sleeved linen shirt to cover up the damaged skin. Jasper generally wears comfortable fur-lined leather boots along with black linen pants and a white or red linen long-sleeved shirt. When he is on duty, he wears a iron plate chest piece with iron plated shoulder guards. He also wears an orange long-sleeved linen shirt and black dyed leather bracers. He also wears that glove to cover his hand. He also wears black pants and dark colored leather boots. He has a tan cloak as well. (Basically the picture.)

Personality

Jasper is not even close to a bystander. He has been known to protect his friends if they are getting beat on or if they are in a fight. He has a few female friends who have had their hearts broken. Unfortunately, for those guys who did such things, they got taught a lesson. With this being said, he can easily be labeled an overprotective individual. However he knows that people deserve freedom and he has learned in the past that he will not always be around to defend those he cares for. He sadly learned that lesson the hard way. Despite being overprotective, is an out going guy. He tries to put smiles on peoples faces and he does his best to be serious when he really needs to be. Jasper knows when he shouldn't say a word and when he should. If its one thing that he knows best, he learned that getting to know someones past is better than just learning their personality and their all around character. He also learned that looking at the light of the situation is always better. Remaining positive is the best thing to do, something he tries to attempt over and over again.

Biography

It all started with the relationship of Vicar and Elie Aldo. They were running there own business throughout their young lives. Vicar had been using a blacksmith shop for income. The shop was given to him by his father when he was a teenager. This blacksmith would be the same place where Vicar would smith a steel sword for his youngest son. The couple had four children. Two daughters and two sons. The eldest was a son names Eryx, who took apprenticeship under his father when he was big and strong at the age of 13 Jasper was 8 at the time. Jasper's two sisters were fraternal twins. Their names were Pegasus and Autumn. Life was great for the Aldo family. They ran the very shop that contributed to the arms of the humans during the Draken-Hume War. However that was something they wouldn't learn until later on in the generations. Jasper grew up helping his father and his brother at the shop whenever he could. Normally he would help people pick out weapons and armor. His brother taught him how to handle a sword and how to fight with his fists when it was really needed. Jasper's mother and sisters always tended to the house whenever they needed to. They would normally make sure the family pet was taken care of too. A large dog that normally ran around and played with Jasper when he was younger. Eventually the dog passed and the family would have lost their own blood and flesh that day. After the death of Jasper's comrade, Jasper continued his training with his brother in sword play and he even watched his father from time to time when he was repairing leather armor. His father taught him how to use a grind stone to sharpen a blade of any kind. Jasper soon learned the one thing that was hidden from him and his sister's for years. The family wasn't really for the Draken-Hume War. They had two sides to the whole thing, they didn't believe the war was worth it, but at the same time they believed it was necessary to carry out destiny that the human race seems to follow. Jasper didn't think much of the war and went on to tend to the family business or swordplay on his free time. Jasper's life was great all the way up until the past two years of his life. When he was 16, the new order known as the Wallguard demanded that the Aldo family's blacksmith shop go towards the effort of making weapons and armor for the Wallguard. Jasper's family agreed that they would deny serving them and that they would explain they were just a local shop meant to serve few people who were looking for a good blade or even a good bow and some armor. The Wallguard would listen to their explanation, but it would pay the largest consequence possible. The family was sentenced to death for "treason." They executed Jasper's whole family and kept him alive to serve the Wallguard. Few people know the truth, mostly adults, but Jasper knows the whole truth. Considering Jasper knew he was powerless against the Wallguard, the community that surrounded the blacksmith shop gave Jasper a place to stay. All Jasper had was the sword his father forged him, an emblem which he uses as a clip for his cloak his sisters made him, the armor his brother forged, and a dagger that has been passed down from his mother. Jasper has served two years in the Wallguard and had only had to take care of minor disputes with goblins.

Weapons

Jasper prefers the curved, steel blade shown in the appearance picture. Aside from the design below the hand-guard, and the handle of the sword itself, the whole sword is steel. The handle is of a strong unknown wood and the design is made out of iron which has been painted over. There is also a curved dagger stored on his hip, which he always carries just in case he would like to duel wield or if he lost his sword in the line of battle. The curved dagger is made of steel with the handle being wrapped in red cloth and an amethyst placed on each side.

Abilities

Adaptive: Jasper can use his surroundings for just about anything. He doesn't have the issue of going into a new territory or area and feeling very uncomfortable about it. His survivability is not altered in a specific terrain and he will be able to remain stable regardless of climate. This ability does not just refer to terrain though. Jasper can pic up any one handed sword or a dagger and he can use it just as well as the person before him used it. Agile: Along with being adaptive, Jasper is quite agile. He is a fast runner and he has an ability to climb obstacles or get around them in odd ways. Along with this, his attacks are often swift and without hesitation. He has yet to meet someone who can swipe a pebble away from his hand or even out run him.

Techniques/Spells

Skilled swordsman: Jasper has been handling a sword as soon as he was old enough to pick one up. He was taught by his eldest brother on how to use one and how to fight well with one. When Jasper was around 11, he defeated his master, his brother, in a duel. Since then, he has practiced with his sword that his father made him and a dagger, which was an heirloom for generations in his family. Duel wield: A skill that Jasper had taught himself, Jasper learned that using two one handed swords, or even a sword and a dagger, can increase his chances of taking on multiple opponents at once. Him and his eldest brother have been teaching each other new ways to use duel wielding and their training has been going well, until recently.

Backstory Izumi was neglected when he was around 5. He had to live a life of begging and, occasionally, stealing. He has grown to be a quiet and solemn young man. Other Izumi is small. He stands at 5'4" but he is quick at the same time.
