Bio
Hello,
I am Gordoth Enodious. I call myself that way. It is not my actual name, but for the purposes of a forum I'll remain Gordoth.
Concerning my experience with roleplaying, I cannot say I am experienced, but neither can I say I am inexperienced. I have tried roleplaying, but I've never managed to hold a group together for any longer than, say, three or four days, as they lost interest in the process. I consider myself literate, but I'd think everyone on this here forum IS literate.
In connection to the preferences I display when dealing with roleplaying, I'd say I have two, those being Fantasy and Science Fiction, however I am more than interested in participating in all kinds of activities hosted by the Guild.
And about me. I am a rookie writer of fiction literature. I enjoy playing video games of all kinds. As is to be expected by one who visits forums such as this one, I am more keen on experiencing stories. I enjoy reading all kinds of literature, I partake in the viewing of many movies and I relish in observing art.
That's about as much as is needed, I'd say. Overall, consider me a jack of all trades. I will ask for tips and explanations, as I am not familiar with the process of roleplaying on a forum. I am enthusiastic about all of this, so holler if you feel like it.
"You can not understand me. Not because it is something that can not be understood, but because you lack the knowledge needed. You can not understand, simply because you have not lived. Only once you have seen that, which I have seen, will you be able to see something. Only once you experience the horrors, experienced by myself, will you understand. Through living after the suffering I have lived through, will you understand. Are those things you can experience? Are those things you can go through in one hundred years, eighteen of which you lack the clarity of mind needed to be human? I fear it is not possible. I fear that becoming human, at this moment, depends on understanding. But not everyone can understand. Why, then, is it that you are all considered humans? None of you seek to understand each other. None of you even seek to understand others. I fear it. I fear this thing, which you call human, is not what truly is a human. You have lost the understanding of the word you use to describe yourselves. Without knowing what you are, without understanding it... You can not understand me."
I don't think you can undertake the exact same set of actions. But you can try something. However do keep in mind, that there are going to be other characters reacting to your actions. Mainly Galdari's actions. But attention has been drawn. Although you could attempt to perform other actions. :0
GordothToday at 7:59 PM !roll 1d20 - I roll for Galdari, as she initiates the action GuildBotBOTToday at 7:59 PM @Gordoth, :game_die: 1d20 → 16 GordothToday at 7:59 PM !roll 1d20 - I roll for Orky, as he reacts to the action GuildBotBOTToday at 7:59 PM @Gordoth, :game_die: 1d20 → 14
Let's see if you can force the shield and hit Orky really hard!
GordothToday at 7:59 PM !roll 1d20 - Rolling for Galdari, as she is the initiator. That's plus her strength, GuildBotBOTToday at 7:59 PM @Gordoth, :game_die: 1d20 → 16 GordothToday at 7:59 PM !roll 1d20 - Rolling for Orky, that's plus his Endurance. GuildBotBOTToday at 7:59 PM @Gordoth, :game_die: 1d20 → 14
EDIT: The actual rolls are the following: !roll 1d20 - Galdari GuildBotBOTToday at 8:02 PM @Gordoth, :game_die: 1d20 → 7 GordothToday at 8:02 PM !roll 1d20 - Orky GuildBotBOTToday at 8:02 PM @Gordoth, :game_die: 1d20 → 18
So Orky gets hit hard. He gets injured, the skin cracks and he starts to bleed, but the skull doesn't suffer much damage. It hurts, and he gets a little dazed. But he can react. @Lady Selune ; @OrkytheOrc
@OrkytheOrc To intimidate them with a scream you'll just have to do the scream and write it's supposed to be intimidating, but I'm certain half of them would not move a muscle if they heard Orky shout/scream/roar. Plus, they just heard a dragon roar - that's something a bit scarier than an Orc's cry.
Also, @Lady Selune, add some stats to your character. I can't believe I did not see the fact those were missing, but we will slowly be getting to draw a need for them. So you got 40 points to distribute along 7 stat, min 1 max 10. Refer to the rules for more info ._.
@Bishop I roll for Numenor first because he is the instigator of the action, and for Orky second because he is the responder to the action. True, it was a bit unclear but I'll make sure it is next time. Keep in mind you failed, but not so spectacularly so as to be noticed by everybody. Only Orky and Numenor should be aware of the action going on between them. The rest, unless staring directly at them, shouldn't have noticed.
The person, who turned out to be a woman, at least according to the voice coming out of the helmet, had nicely piped in, interested in a job as well. Taking into account the words spoken by her, as well as her strange appearance, coupled with the eerie armor set, she looked like quite the capable candidate, figured Urdal.
The half-elf, quite satisfied by the short lowering of arms, which had occurred, almost skipped over towards the woman, going behind the demonic in heritage man. He stopped walking at around three feet from his new recruit, who looked quite normal, when compared to the other individuals who had gotten into his posse, and extended his hand in greeting.
"Very well! I'm Urdal, and I'm glad to be... Working with you..?" His voice trailed off when he started inspecting the ancient armor set worn by her, as well as the big anchor. Another thing that caught his eye were the yellow shining lights, coming from between the slits of the helmet. Normal, yes. His disappointment was immeasurable, but he made a valiant attempt to hide it.
An unexpected turn of events! Let's see what happens, and what the dice boys say happens!

Right, so Numenor got a 1. He is not pulling that sword out of Orky's grip anytime soon. Orky got an 18, so that's a vice-like grip. No, no, no.
So atm Orky is holding onto the sword with his hand and it is not even budging when Numenor tries to pull it out. Taking into account the respective strength of them both... It stays like this.
