Hey there, I assume you want to know about me so here it is...
The name is gowia (g-ow-ee-ah) or Alex. Or anything else you come up with, I'm not fussy.
I am a 25 year old male, though comfortably I'll play anything as a character.
I am a Brit born and bred and so that is my lingo, I use British words and love my slang, and if I don't seem to make sense I may simply be using English idioms that don't translate outside the rural country abodes I swan around.
I enjoy all sorts of things, I am an avid football (soccer) player and supporter, adore music, and live for a good story. I am in love with history. So you will always get a decent plot or conversation out of me on that subject.

*Sigh* I will make Civitas the tyrant, we shall say it was formerly held by the tyrant who was deposed upon defeat. However, Tyrant manages to steal a huge fortune of treasure and what not, which then is pumped into the Civitas economy and the people. However, with defeat the country has it's borders reduced and restricted, losing a great deal of land at home (Not in the colonies). Then becomes a point of debate "Was letting the UTC with a slap across the wrists just or too lenient?" The state of the army can be down to the current administration being very jingoistic on returning these lost lands and supporting a strong army in the state.
EDIT: However having one of the smallest pops for a great power and smaller military, may I then take that the military is super advanced only because steamrolling a continent without numbers would be nigh impossible.

Brief History: The land of the UTC occupies the former petty kingdoms of multiple families, whose names lend themselves to the provinces they are divided into. Built on the bedrock of liberalism, the common good and popularism; the UTC has all but failed in most of these regards. Elected political offices in the last 100 years have in fact been delivered into the hands of the ruling families through entirely undemocratic methods. This is based on the warlike nature of the people, in fighting and brawl are as much a part of politics as war, and this means that the UTC has been a fairly active member of the last few wars to plague the world. Whilst also one of the most effective, military technology is invested into heavily for a large and professional army that is well equipped and supplied, sometimes at the cost of the public. As well as this, jingoistic tendancies have given them colonial holdings that bring them into the rank of 'Empire', and in turn this colonies provide forces and goods to fuel the continued efforts of the UTC to embroil itself in the King making of the world.
