Actually, all of those except the sun death were original vampire lore. The death by sun came in later generations and remakes from monster movie times. EDIT: Did y'all just enter a new world?
I see this argument a lot, and the primary issue with it is that it glosses over how original vampire stories also had them as either the Slavic equivalent of modern-day zombies or gross smelly Eastern European goblins (Think Count Orlock and you have a pretty good idea). Besides, the enhanced physical traits show it's is a modern-style vampire, since old-school ones were on-par or often weaker than your average dude (axes stronk) and got by on hypnotic powers, shape-shifting, and in Dracula's case didn't even drink blood, but rather bathed in it to maintain his youth. But hey maybe these guys are from a world where Ordo Dracul finally pulled off their vampire eugenics shenanigans or something, I don't know, haven't seen these vampire dudes everyone has been talking about. And yeah Rokku we're in the hub world; we changed over like three days ago OOC-time, dude.
i believe you're thinking of Elisabeth bathory on the bathing in blood thing, pro.
alpha gave a groan when the freeze occurred, rather annoyed to be induced to stasis, again. And the theft of the crucible by Dark Samus did not aid his mood any. "So, great..completed the objective only for the eldritch abomination to screw it up for everyone." He muttered, pausing for a moment. "So..where's the backstabbing from command? Cause..so far, it's all I count missing. That and some big ass monster attempting to make me it's dinner." Omega froze in the middle of stabbing the last visible dragon in the jaw. He could care less either way on the issue of the crucible. Though when he realized they were in reality, in an actual, non simulated world.. he was shocked he was around TO realize it. "Hm..something must be terribly out of sync in the worlds if my continued presence is tolerated." He noted, staring out to the sea. "Quite a nice change in scenery. Reminds me of the beaches on.." He mused, his features softening regretfully as memories danced in his mind.
You know guys, this situation is kind of déjà vu for alpha. Repeated Stasis, falling from the sky and eldritch abominations in humanoid form mucking up missions? Hell, give the man backstabbing handlers Or something trying to eat him and you've got his daily grind!
so she can invoke a fusion dance? cool beans.
Doing my upgrades, going to just spend both on alpha's end on one ability. Alpha gets -warrior state- One of the trials the Indrian people must endure is the enemy within, the culmination of their genetic lust for battle and instincts of war, boiling beneath the surface. This, is the warrior. Under duress, extreme rage or despair, in even the least warlike Indrian, the warrior takes hold. Pain is ignored, strength, pushed to phyisical limits. And a lust for combat is unleashed that can not be stopped until it has had it's fill. In the warrior state, alpha discards any notion of peace, morality or self preservation. His strength is boosted significantly and he ignores pain. In addition, his personality shifts, turning to one that craves, and thrives battle, pursuing combat whenever he can find it, refusing to cease until the bloodlust is satified. However, if knocked out, or forced to regenerate large portions of his body, the warrior will recede earlier. And as a drawback, alpha is limited to phyisical attacks in the warrior state, trading versitility for brutality. Omega gets -bearer of the testament This upgrade Allows omega to summon soldiers from the eternal testament without activating it, upto a unit of four at one time. The summoned soldiers are equiped with weaponry from omega's armory, but cannot summon them as he does. Furthermore, reality will reject their presence outside the testament, and attempt to banish them back to it's bounds. Thus, each soldier summoned this way can only be maintained a short time before being returned to their native bounds. -Distortion of Ω This upgrade is a semi-passive one, that hides omega's presence from others via enshrouding him in the paradox of his existence. In practice, it makes it that unless one focuses on him, or if he wants to be seen, he will be viewed as though always out in the corner of one's eye, a questionable existiance, dismissed as a hallucination by the unwary.
no. for truth
ok, guys..redesign again. input please.
alpha saw the hatter coming in fast and wondered what he was going for, before stumbling to his knees as the mad resident of underland tripped him up. "son of a.." he muttered under his breath, charging an orb of energy in his hand. "you're pissing me off." he warned, firing a blast at hatter. if it hit, alpha would rush behind hatter and more or less donkey punch him. if it had not hit, he'd gut punch the hatter, then grab him by the back of the head and slam him repeatedly face first into his elbow, finishing with a toss to the side. upon thinking of it, alpha decided he would probably end with the face to elbow slam either way, though he kept the other avenues of attack in mind as backup plans. omega on the other hand was actually impressed. the dragons, rudimentary beasts as they have have been showed some basic level of tenacity. hell, even after he'd unleashed his armory upon them, some remained and one even found the brimstones to roar at him and the hunter. "i'll take pride in slaying this creature. it and it's kin have given far better a battle than i had expected." omega mused to himself, a wry smirk coming to his face as he caused his blades to circle him in preparation to battle this beast. this battle had a welcome yet fearsome effect on the old watcher. it made him feel lively.
