oh, nostalgia. why do i keep looking back at this? it was big enough to have its own website just to contain it at one point. then it returned here. new people joined. the OG cast dropped like flies and the rp died unceremoniously. RIP multiverse. a massive ambitious idea, killed off by pettiness and powerplays.
i Should have explained it better. You See, how I visualized it, was that we would choose a basic powerset that's not based on a character to start, putting it here just so the other players can have reference.

That would be the "holdout" ability set, so to speak. And at the end of the hub world, we'd get a glove like device called a resonator that would serve to be our key between the different worlds, and how we use the powers gained from those worlds.

Naturally, the first ability set would be basic, like fire control, or some kind of thing that can be as utilitarian as it is combative.
Sorry for the wait. Comp problems.
My guy alright, night?
Greenhorn Character Sheet(everything set in place but gimmicks and name can be changed)

Name: Jacob L. Miller

Wrestling Name:
Miller the killer
Moniker: destroyer of your day
Character Gimmick: biker, former backstreet brawler, cage fighting prodigy. Basically, if there's a fight worth having, you can bet miller will be there to be..well, heh. You see what he's called right? And did I mention he flips between calm, no fighting in sight mode, and "I want..no need to get in on that brawl!" On a dime? Cause kind of an important note.
Wrestling Style:
through and through, killer is a brawler, not some fancy technical dude like say, Bret hart, who has a hundred fancy ways to hurt you, but nothing simply devastating. No, he's the kind of guy you'd see rushing out the gate to whale on whatever he hits first. Though if he decides that just hitting you is boring, well..better hope he doesn't think fit to just break you in a submission. Because though technical he isn't, sadistic he can be. Basically, when he does do submissions, he does them through simply inflicting pain. No fancy theatrics. Just the limb wrenching pain of pure power forced upon one's body.
Demeanor:
surprisingly, killer is not an abrasive kind of dude. In fact, if one's not fighting him, he's downright pleasant, if not short on what he has to say. In the ring, it's a whole other ballgame. He'll go from wishing someone luck before a match, to monster heel In said match in such a heartbeat, you'll forget about the fact he has you in a straightjacket deathlock until you're screaming for release.
Moves: DDT, inverted DDT, mudhole stomps, sleeper hold, mandible claw, big boot, clothesline.

Signature Moves(5 maximum):
the facial rend (basically a face grab chokeslam), scorpion deathlock and spider suplex.
Finishing Move:
straightjacket deathlock. The startup looks like the standard scorpion deathlock, up until, the initial flip over is started. After the opponent starts to flail, killer will seem to release, only to sit right on the stomach, loop the opponents arms through his legs, with the elbows under the knees as to simulate a straightjacket's straps, and then using his arm strength proceeds to invert his position with the opponent's arms tied, using his legs to do to the arms what a normal sharpshooter does to the legs.
Entrance Music: devour by shinedown

Future Goals in the Business(Championship Aspirations):
honestly, he'll take what he can get. Well, outside of being future endevored, that is.
Length of Time in the Business(6 months to 2 years):
11 months.
.
I have a thing made up for this, but question. If we start a greenhorn, can we eventually get the things like ring entrances and such as rp goes on?
i'm interested as well. perhaps having it an rp between three likeminded players would make it work nicely.
guys, i hate to do this, but i can't keep in right now. IRL is kicking my rear end with summer jobs and such.
"hmm..i suppose that could work quite well." jacques murmured approvingly. "if you are certain the quality is not compromised, than that would work quite fine with the material i have. here, i'll show you." the aged professor stated, ushering rebekah to where the class materials were stored.
Rebekah Green

Rebekah heard a muffled something coming from her roommate's bed, but it was hard to tell what exactly she was saying from under all of those blankets. She figured it would be best to leave them to emerge on their own.

One shower later, and Rebekah was feeling much better about the early hour. Good pressure, hot water and adjustable height would do that to her. Bringing her firmly back to earth, however, was the sight that greeted her when she came back into her room. Her wardrobe was open, and had been rifled through. Apparently she would need to talk to her roommate about that later. For now though, she put everything back where it belonged, closed the doors, and used her power to enlarge them just slightly. At their increased size, the doors would be wedged tight against the frame, and should be very difficult to open until she came back to re-shrink them.

Breakfast followed (muesli and hot chocolate) and then she found herself with about half an hour left before her first class. She took to strolling through the hallways, wondering who else she might bump into, when yet another loud exclamation reached her ears. If this was going to be a regular thing at this school, she might have to carry earplugs with her.

“Ahem..any students willing to procure stone and crystal resources for my class, will be awarded either extra credit, or private lessons, depending on quantity. ..and quickness.” Declared a loud, french accented voice, followed a few moments later by “Sans tarder!”

She assumed the last bit was french, and even though she didn't understand it, context gave her the general gist - "now or sooner". Thinking that she might as well check it out - she had time after all - she followed the sound of the voice to the end of the hallway, and a strong wooden door bearing a small black sign that identified it as a magic classroom where magic was taught by Professor Jacques Dragonheart Veilleur.

Tentatively, she gave the door three quick taps and called out "Hello? I'm here about the stones."

The door, not firmly closed, swayed open to show the professor at work with carving tools on his desk. Similar workbenches were set up on the room for students, with an area set up in the middle for demonstrations and practical applications/testings of their classwork. "Ah yes, good, grand even!..excuse moi for a moment..a bit of carving at work. " Jacques smiled warmly, looking up from his current work, a Siwilo rune for demonstration. His crystal eye shimmering in the room's slightly dull light.

"You're the first volunteer ms...eh, suppose it doesn't matter too much. I'll learn the names" he stated. Carefully dusting the partly carved piece of stone off of kicked up dust. He stood. "But yes, what will be needed. You see my dear mademoiselle, the facility neglected to allot sufficient materials." He began to explain, walking thoughtfully back and forth, occasionally stroking his chin. "Rune carving is after all not simple, and no doubt, most will need more than one attempt to correctly inscribe the symbols." Jacques added, turning to directly face Rebekah. "Now..What I need to be precise are slabs of soapstone, alabaster, and sandstone. As well as azurite and Quartz crystal samples. Though the last two are not as an immediate concern as the stone itself, it is good to stock up." He told the female student. "If you can gather those with haste, I can ensure rewards in class for it."
