The Asurans were a lot like their creators (very stuck up). I still feel like betraying 5th was a bad move but it also would have drastically changed the series so I see why they did that. Not to mention replicators have broken away from their "commander CPU" before with the original android (her name escapes me). So on that front it made sense. I still think the Replicators were one of the best enemies ever made in Sci Fi. That noise they made....dam it was cool.

WHAT ABOUT THE REA- yeah, they were

Turning a stargate "off" is actually a fairly easy thing. Ba'al did it sometime in season 9-10. When SG-1 finally managed to retrieve those gates ba'al stole, they also managed to turn them back "on". If they know how to make a stargate link itself back into the network, it ain't too hard to figure out how to disconnect it. Doing much of anything more with the gate software, on the other hand, that'll probably be beyond them. The gates are linked through a complex subspace network. All they need to disable it, is to disable the transmitter/receiver function. For all we know, there could even be a means of doing so built into the DHD.Having a DHD is a good idea. A DHD is far safer than anything custom-built by the Tau'ri. A lot of the mistakes they've made over the years when dialing from the SGC have been due to the lack of the classic safety protocols built into the DHD. We like that idea.

HAH SAFETY

The real reason Tau'ri are blowing through the galaxy is because we do shit.
¨HEY LETS TURN OFF THE SAFETY AND MAKE THE POWER SUPPLY 145% MORE!¨
We are also not the smartest race.
No no no no, nothing so UNsubtle.

Its more like.......

I'll give an example.

Suppose baddamanna has OCD. He'll tell him "Something is wrong.", then let him be.

THEN, in EVERY room, he'll shift something that is in plain sight, yet unnoticeable to the CONSCIOUS mind, to an unnatural position, driving said person mad.

Also, yes. If his intricate strategy failed, "BEAM THE NUKES IN." or "RAM THAT ASTEROID DOWN THEIR SUCTION HOLES"
Name: Harry Blaze

Callsign: Deicide

Age: 37

Rank/Title(Dependant on position): Colonel

Appearance: Harry is a slightly abnormal sight in the military, being the thin and short person of only five feet ten inches that he is. He isn't exactly "buff", but he is very fit, being able to run at speeds of 23 kilometers per hour for more than a minute. He has black hair, and black eyes, which is rather normal for a person like him, although if someone were to comment that he looked "emo", he'd punch them in the face. He wears small rectangular glasses when not in a combat situation, and wears auto-fitting contacts in combat.

Out of combat, he wears his uniform constantly, and is quite proud of it.

Role: Strike Team (Leader? Up to you guys, if its alright)

Nationality: Canadian

Biography:

Personality:Harry is a cigar smoking, gun laundering, man with a lifetime of experience with weaponry and the military, Harrison is a well trained man with an arrogant, yet disciplined attitude. He is also incredibly proud of humanity, and his race, believing the Tau'Ri to be the best in the universe.

But when he's not acting like an Officer, (and a lot while he is), he's a quirky and outgoing. One could even describe him as outgoing and genial, as a total opposite to what he can be like if prodded a lot, in which case, he'll burst into a furious rage.

He will obey orders from his superiors, and will deal with insubordination with a subtle, yet disturbing method. He's patient, yet impatient, in the meaning that he can wait for big things, but is incapable of waiting for a burrito to heat up in a microwave.

He is also entirely unpredictable at times, and for all his reputation as a genius planner, sometimes he will unexpectedly shift to using a lot, a hella lot of raw firepower, a tactic he uses rarely, just to surprise others.

Trivia: "Sometimes, all you need is just more firepower" -Harry
¨Firepower is not always the answer.¨ - Same guy.
Weird, huh?

WIP. I am currently having a birthday, so a leeeeetle more time.

There is no such thing... unless you mean the Staff Cannon teal'c took of the tripod and walked around looking badass with.

No no, we cut up the Jaffa staffs, and put them together in a Gatling gun fashion

You realize nukes aren't as effective in space as they are in orbit... riiiighhhtttt? The best way to use nukes in space combat is by what the Daedalus perfects and beams nukes aboard enemy ships.

I do know.
I understand the concept well.
In fact, we're studied that a while back
Physics is my major

Armor immune to most energy weapons and projectile weapons is a nice concept. Though if we were to design it with tech similar to kull armor, we'd go more for function than inspiring fear.

Again, remember Jaffa staffs vs P90's

There's probably a few of those armors stored in Area 51, so who knows?
